  Aysun took a step back and shook his head. " No. I... I want my daddy to come," he said slowly, eyes on the ground. " Your daddy?" Nikolai raised an eyebrow. He looked at Leon then back at the boy. " Would you rather he go with you?" he asked. Again, Aysun shook his head. He pointed at Leon. " You're my Uncle Leon-" He pointed at Nikolai. " -and you're my Uncle Nikki. I want my real dad to come but... I don't know his phone number..."

Leon Court As Leon stood dumbfounded at what to reply, Ray piped up. " Does that mean Mr. Nikolai can come with me?" he asked excitedly, clasping his hands and jumping some. It took a solid minute, but soon enough, Leon spoke. " Aysun, your father doesn't talk to us. I'm not even sure his number that I have works anymore."

" But we already have Mr. Leon," Reggie told Ray. " Oh..." Aysun mumbled as he looked down sadly. He suddenly perked up. " What about a phone book? He's on there!"

Leon Court" Yeah but we could have both, Reggie!" said Ray with stars in his eyes. The adult sighed, then nodded. " I guess we can look. But Aysun, if he can't come, you have to let it go."

But Aysun had already ran off for the phone book before Leon could finish. Nikolai listened to the door slam shut before looking at his husband with a concerned expression. Reggie looked skeptically at Ray before brightening up. " Okay, but only if I can present Mr. Leon!" he bargained.

~~~Nikolai sighed as he entered his bedroom, closing the door. It took ages to get the children to go to sleep, having to read them bedtime stories. He was never one for storytelling, especially when Leon was much better at it (the Sin wasn't as good at changing voices). He decided to tell some adventures of his past, the monsters he had fought and the people he met. He left out some explicit things, but it was nice to know it didn't bore the kids. " Are you ready for tomorrow, dearie?" Nikolai asked his husband as he took off his blazer, searching for his sleeping clothes. " Aysun's birthday. Goodness, how time flies, hmm?"

Leon CourtLeon sat upright in bed, glasses perched on the edge of his nose and his cross-stitching in his hands. He held the needle taught, looking over his glasses at his husband before sighing and shaking his head. " Don't remind me. My baby is not allowed to get any older. He is supposed to stay a baby." He pursed his lips in a pout, eyes returning to his task.

" He's already grown so much, dearie. He used to cry all the time when he was here, and now he'd more willingly run to the middle of a fight so he wouldn't have to be separated from any of us," Nikolai noted. He grinned deviously. " He even wants to have a slumber party. Imagine that, hmm? Do you remember the last time you had a slumber party, dearie? All the games you played?" he purred.

Leon CourtLeon set down his round loom, reaching to adjust his glasses and laughing. " Oh, I remember. My first boy-girl slumber party is where I had my first kiss." He smiled at the memory, then quickly lost his smile and replaced it with a look of worry. " Uh, there aren't gonna be too many girls at his party, are there?" he asked, leaning towards Nikolai's direction.

" Yes," Nikolai answered casually, hanging up his jacket. It wasn't on the hanger properly, but he didn't care whether it wrinkled or not. He turned to his husband, a bemused look on his sleepy face. " Aysun made quite a great deal of girl friends when he used to dress as a girl. He's already very popular for his age, you know. I'm more worried that this house won't be able to fit all the children he invited."

Leon CourtLeon groaned as he lay back on his pillows, eyes closed and a pained expression on his face. " What? Damn it!" He sat upright, holding out his hand towards his husband and pouting. " Why can't we just have a boys-only slumber party? Parker can help babysit, Charlotte can safely be miles away, we won't have to worry about our baby boy losing his innocence to some harlot."

" Your innocent son is in first grade, darling, I hardly think you have to worry about anything," Nikolai chuckled. He paused, thinking of how much fun it would be to torture his husband, and grinned deviously to himself. " Although... Children have been getting curious about intimacy at a younger age." He faced Leon and walked over to the bed, sitting down on his side and entwining his fingers with his. " Are you sure you'd rather have Parker around Aysun than Charlotte, dearie? You've seen how Aysun is around him," he snickered.

Leon CourtIt was like grabbing a sword and sticking it right between his ribs. He tried to catch his breath, sending a look to his husband when Nikolai took his hand. " No wonder you were the Devil, because you're evil," he whispered the last word and glared daggers, then pursed his lips. " Okay so maybe Aysun has a bit of a little crush on Parker, but Parker likes girls. You've seen him with Charlotte, he doesn't even notice his tiny buddy. Wait, that's kinda sad."

" Romantically, no. However, Parker seems to have assumed the role of Aysun's older brother and stays close to him, which may lead our little boy on," Nikolai said distantly, playing with Leon's fingers. He met the glare with a sideways smirk. " But who knows, dearie? I've convinced plenty of straight men to come to my side, although I'll admit many of them were always curious deep down."

Leon CourtLeon blinked twice, then tightly gripped Nikolai's hand. " I know you're trying to get a rise out of me, but we're seconds away from a divorce, you mean Sin, you." He suddenly tugged his husband closer and onto his lap. " That's it, we're divorcing. You better get your fill of me tonight, Nikolai, because I'm running away."
