Sonja smiled " I don't know to be honest but you will go although we will hide your ears and tails in the beginning at least and we will see how the kids behave because there are people who don't understand that everyone is different " she said. When Aki asked about them calling her and Eric mommy and daddy her heart skipped a beat. She was always dreaming if that and imagined them calling her mommy or mom many times. She never told them this though not wanting to push her opinion upon them " first it was me who adopted you two as my own kids therefore it's like I've given birth to you. When me and Eric got married he became your dad in the paperwork so we are officially your parents. You can call us however you like even mommy and daddy as you said" she explained to them getting up to out the cup with the medicine away. She had finished drinking it and she didnt want to smell it anymore. What she was carving now was blood but she wouldn't dare ask Stephan to offer himself " as for your biological parents I'm sure they are watching us right now and they are glad you are happy!" Nate was smiling playing with others too but it was a fake one. He was thinking how his life would be if he had a mother or father. He didn't need both. Just someone to call family. He was a kid that grew up to be a teenager and never felt how it is to be loved. How it is to hear a good morning coming out of the mouth if a smiling person and knowing it was directed to you. He suddenly wasn't hungry anymore. He finished feeding Alex some mashed potatoes abd then got up " excuse me but...I think I'll go unpack my stuff" he lied angry with himself with that pathetic excuse he found. Yeah like he had many things to unpack. He admitted to himself he was jealous not because the twins had parents but because they would enjoy life as kids. It was too late for him and he was still a slave even if Sonja and Eric weren't treating him as one. He washed his dish, dried it and walked upstairs to his room. He licked the door and walked to his bed not wanting to be bothered by anyone. Especially the twins. He sat on his bed and leaned against the wall closing his eyes. He was taught to be tough. Fortunately even after what he had to Yuki he seemed to still be an innocent little girl but he...even if he was a teenager he wasn't feeling like one. He was forced to be an adult by his master since the day his body had started changing to its final male version. He was tired of all these. Tears started streaming down his face. He couldn't remember when it was the last time he cried. Oh no he did. It was after he had bred with that snow neko girl named Yuki and she was taken back by her family. She was so innocent. So good. He had feared she would lose her beautiful smile after that. Fortunately she was fine though.

The twins nod, listening to Eric and Sonja. They whisper together then decide that they would call Sonja and Eric their mommy and daddy and it would be okay. "Okay we will call you mommy and daddy since our other mommy and daddy are gone now." The go to hug their mommy and daddy to make it official. "You are mommy and daddy for sure now." The twins were very happy and so they didn't realize that their happiness made Nate sad. Eric sees Nate go upstairs and knows he is sad. He waits until Nate had some time before he goes up after him. "I am going to check on Nate. You guys go ahead and have dessert. I will take Nate's cake up to him." Eric gets a piece of cake for Nate and himself then takes the plates upstairs. Being a former guardian angel, Eric knew when people were sad. He knocks the goes in..."I brought you some cake Nate." He sits down on a chair next to Nate's desk and puts the cake down on the desk for him and Nate. "I'm sorry Nate that you don't have a family yet but you will have one, one day." He puts his arms around Nate and gives him a hug. "You have to give things time. Unfortunately you are almost an adult and you like Sonja had to grow up the hard way without a family but you like Sonja will have a family of your own. I know you will." The twins help Stephan serve cake and sit with Sonja and Lissa eating cake. "Is Nate sick?" asks Aki. Yuki says "The cake is yummy mommy." Lissa and Stephan look at each other and then up the stairs. They thought of Nate and think to each other...poor Nate. They understood as they watched his reaction to the twins and he was so good to Alex and was happy. Lissa whispers to Stephan..."What if we adopted Nate?" Stephan was thinking about what that would mean. He just got a raise, could he afford a baby and Nate?

Sonja grinned when the twins took their decission and hugged them tight " alright you two!" She giggled happily kissing their heads. That was it. Her twins were all hers. She was officially their mom now. She was a mom!! Noticing Nate leaving she nodded at Eric when he left " alright and no he us not sick. Tired probably" she lied smiling not wanting to worry him. Nate didnt know how or why Eric unlocked the door to come in. He looked at the cake then at Eric when he hugged him " it's not only that. Both the twins and ms Sonja even without a family managed to be kids and play, be free, laugh...I didnt. I'm not even sure how it is to play. Or to have friends as a kid and chase each other around...I hate myself. Couldn't I be a normal neko or even better a human? Then I wouldn't have this life" he frowned.

Lissa says to Sonja and Stephan, "Can we talk in the kitchen for a moment? Aki and Yuki we will be right back so you guys eat your cake." They go to the kitchen. Stephan says to Lissa "Are you sure?" She nods "We will manage....Sonja we were thinking, what if we adopted Nate? He could have a family and be free too then. Our budget will be tight but we can manage. Nate is good with Alex and will be a good big brother." Eric says "You had a hard life.. But having fun and making friends can happen at any age. You should play as much as you want and nit worry. The twins don't act their age either. They are slow for their age compared to human kids but they are open to make things fun and so is Sonja. She does all of these crazy fun things for them and herself and we love her for that. You need to relax and let go. Allow yourself to have fun."

Sonja listened to them and smiled "that's a good idea. Umm you guys can live here with us and unrent your house. This way too big for only us. And leave all of Alex's expenses on me! I'm his godmother after all. You will tell me what he needs and I will take care of it. I agree though. Nate will be a good big brother. He seems to like children. As for him being free if you really want to do this I will prepare the papers to set him free too. You have to tell him though. I don't know how he will react. He is at a hard age after all" she told them Nate hugged his knees " the twins are the twins. They don't know many things about real world and if they were mine I wouldn't send them to school either. You know how harsh the kids can be to them for their innocence. Ms Sonja is happy now. She died and became alive again. She got married, had two kids already abd now will have a third one. Why shouldn't she be happy?"

Lissa and Stephan talked it over. With Sonja paying for Alex and them not having to pay rent, they could afford to take care of Nate and adopt him. "We will ask Nate if he would like to be our son. If he agrees we will adopt him and you can sent him free. We will ask him after the twins go up to get ready for bed." They were happy things would work out. Nate seemed like a good boy so they were sure that he would make a good son. Lissa says "We should check on the twins. Let's go to eat cake with the twins." They sit with the twins to eat cake. Eric sits on the chair listening to Nate vent. "You will be happy too. Just give it time." He hands Nate some cake. "Things are already better aren't they? Here eat some cake. Let's go back downstairs and be with the others. You will be as happy as Sonja someday. Don't worry. As for the twins, we will look into some private schools for them or we could get them a tutor. They are friendly so they will make friends. I will make sure you get to go to school if you want too. You can go to a technical school and learn a skill if you don't want to go to regular college. You can work at the toy store for a while then decide what kind of education interests you."

Sonja smiled " yeah he is a good boy. I will prepare the papers for his freedom!" She walked back to the twins sitting next to Aki like before. Sge started eating her cake hungrily craving for it like it was another of these weird foods she liked on the island. Nate took the cake and nodded " I want to work at the shop. I'm interested in art although you really don't have to do this" he sighed " do you mind if I stay here? I really feel tired and I would like to sleep early" he admitted.

Lissa and Stephan say "Okay good. Thank you." Stephan and the twins smile as Sonja seemed to really like the cake. The twins finished their cake and go upstairs to get ready for bed. Eric says "Okay you rest. It was a lot of work painting. I don't have to help you but I want to so just enjoy it." He takes Nate's plate and takes it downstairs and sits with Sonja, taking a bite of her cake. "Nate is tired." Lissa and Stephan tell Eric their plan then go up to talk to Nate before he goes to sleep. "Nate? Can we talk?" They go in and say "Nate. We would like to ask you something...we were thinking that we would like to adopt you to be part of our family and free you. But you are a few years from being an adult so we want to ask you if you would like to join our family before we do the paperwork. We are not as rich as Sonja and Eric but they want us to stay at the house with them so we can have enough to care for you and Sonja will help with paying for Alex. So we will have plenty of money to afford to give you what you need. You are really good with Alex so we think you will make a good big brother and take care of him. What do think?" Lissa and Stephan were a few years older than Sonja but had saved some money to have a baby and without having to pay for rent, food, or Alex's needs they would have plenty of money especially since Stephan just go a raise. They were very excited to adopt Nate. They hoped he would accept.

Sonja finished her cake up and then looked at Eric smiling * they want to adopt Nate* she told him through her mind. It seemed that after her death her mind had connected to Eric's. oh well better for her " ill go her ready for bed, will you accompany me?" She asked winking then turning and walking away moving her hips invitingly. It wasn't sure an archangel could get tricked by these but who stopped her from trying. Nate had got ready to sleep. He was laying on his bed holding his pillow and wearing only his shorts as he was feeling really warm. His tail was wrapped around his waist but he sat up when Lissa and Stephan entered. Listening to their offer he didnt believe his ears. Oh was Eric a prophet now too? He was going to say yes but something stopped him from doing so " but I'm not a human. I'm a neko..." He told them touching his ears.

Eric smiles.."rawr..,a guardian angel is always ready yo assist." He follows her upstairs. The twin were ready for bed but their room was still messy from painting. Eric sees them..."I know Nate offered his room but he's tired maybe. Why don't you just sleep in the other guest room." Eric holds Sonja's hand. The twins say "Okay daddy. Goodnight mommy. Goodnight daddy." Eric kisses them goodnight and picks both of the up and tucks them into bed. "Goodnight." Lissa and Stephan smile..."We know you are a neko. We don't have a lot of money and you will need to help out the family but we can offer you us as parents and our love. We love the twins and now that you are part of our lives we will love you too. Will you join our family?" Alex smiles at Nate and giggled at hm and held his chubby hands at Nate. "See, Alex wants you to join our family too," says Lissa as he wiggles in her arms.

Sonja smiled and kissed them both "will you be able to sleep without a story tonight?"she asked them softly Nate looked at Alex and smiled. He extended his arms to take him in his hug "can i say no to this cute face? that's a no no..my new little brother is way too adorable"he said remembering that the twins were supposed to be here to sleep..oh well maybe tomorrow

The twins say with sleepy eyes, "we are tired. Tomorrow is okay the Nate can have a story too!" They snuggle into bed and say "Goodnight." Stephan and Lissa were happy and go yo hug their new son."We are so happy to have a new son. Sonja will have your papers drawn up." Lissa. Kissed him. Eric kisses the twins goodnight. He could feel Nate's happiness and smiled. He would let Nate tell the twins hus happy news in the morning. He whispers to Sonja "it is done. "

Sonja smiled kissing the twins once more and then walked to the door with Eric " sweet dreams my loves" she said then turned the lights off going out with Eric " did he sat yes?" She asked excitedly walking to their room. She got in and changed herself in a pink see through dress and black underwears " you are all mine now" she growled playfully her fangs out. She posed in front of him putting her hand on her hip and breaking her waist a bit " or are you chickening already...my archangel?" She asked Nate hugged his new parents with one arm sinc he was holding Alex with the other carefully " and I'm glad I have a mom and dad and of course a cute little brother!" He said smiling widely. Did this mean he could be a real free teenager now? When he pulled away he smiled at Alex with his tail swaying widely like a whip " are you glad too little one?" He asked poking his nose.

Eric says "Yes he accepted. I can feel it." When they get to their room, he jokes, "Maybe that vampy party of you is going to corrupt me? Rawr..." He goes to pick her up and carries her to the bed. "Now I will have my way with you my love." He lays her down and starts to kiss her passionately as he makes love to her. Stephan says, "We are glad too." Alex seemed to like the idea too as he giggles at Nate and gurgles. Lissa says "We will have Sonja start the paperwork tomorrow and soon it will be official. It is getting late. We should put Alex down to sleep. Would you like to do it?" She sees how attached he is to Alex.

Sonja chuckled abd kissed him too letting him have his way but stopping him when he was picking up speed. It seemed the baby was big enough so the pressure hurt her. She was happy for Nate. Finally something would be going good for him Nate nodded " I would love to but...I don't know any lullabies..." He admitted to them then looked at Alex " will you sleep without a song? If no then our mom abd dad will put you to sleep and not me so the choice is all yours!" He told him kissing his head letting him relax on him if he wished to.
