KogaFuma gregar828 I suppose, but you would have to do a LOT of training before you could use them properly. You probably wouldn't be able to master it until chuunin-special jounin. Well yes I planning on mastering the style in stages such as the grueling physical and mental training that comes with the clan's ability as an Academy Student, then working with taijutsu to build up more physical prowess as a genin and then Mutōryū Attacks within the style, then going on to work with the art of Ittōryū Attacks as a chunin, and Nitōryū Attacks as a Jonin and not mastering the style until some where around ANBU level (Mostly because Koga wll be working from memory of training with his father and having seen his father practice so he won't be able to master the art until he reunites with the clan and learns directly from them) (Before you ask yes I am a huge Naruto nerd and know pretty much everything, and it's pretty much the same with One Piece Zoro being my favorite character so naturally i know everything about Santōryū) You do know there is no power level difference between a Jounin and an ANBU, right?

To a certain extent their is a difference in skill and mastery of arts and overall training. Their may not be a power difference per say, but there is a skill difference. at least that's the way i surmised the ranks anyway, but yeah I guess. Plus it was just to add time for him to master the ability so it's just another character dynamic, should I get accepted into the clan.

gregar828 What I meant was that for this guild, Jounin and ANBU are designated as the same power level, rank, ability, etc. This is so we dont have someone saying they are better than another jounin just because they are ANBU. This confused me initially when joining this guild. I had always thought that ANBU had no specific rank and that ranks within the ANBU actually differed a great deal, ranging from Chuunin-->Jounin, along with even greater distances, like in the case of Kakashi who is practically Kage level. (though we have no idea of his level of skill when he was in ANBU.)
[Man, that's a Naruto arc I'd like to see flushed out, Kakashi-senpai: Tales of an ANBU. I'd watch that over and over again.]
An ANBU, as I understood it, was simply an operative under the personal direction of the Kage.

An ANBU, as I understood it, was simply an operative under the personal direction of the Kage. Kakashi is simply an outlier, since he, like myself, simply contains levels of bad-assery far beyond the normal which cannot be properly confined within labels such as Jounin or ANBU.
...So I'm not sure if he can be factored in as the 'average' definition as to what an ANBU could be in terms of level of power.

I suppose it would be accurate to assume that it was quite high considering the respect he gets from the village and from other ANBU agents such as Yamato who holds Kakashi in high regard and refers to him as -senpai, but there is no way to know really.

And ANBU Black ops shinobi has no real rank this is true. they are just extensions of the Kage who command them. Most Anbu are pulled from their rank and assigned to ANBU because they show great talent or have great abilities already, in most cases the Kage will fake the death of the ANBU operative to conceal them, hence the masks. So yes the ANBU shinobi do vary greatly from Chunin to Jonin, but each ANBU does not really have a rank as they really no longer exist outside of ANBU. Though I am lead to assume that this only pertains to regular shinobi because of Itachi, he was a Jonin while still being and ANBU operative. I think this is because of his fathers role as Acting chief of Police or just because he is an Uchiha in general, but in every other case they are pulled from society and live as ANBU. Their general skill would vary but most have above Jonin level prowess and some even Kage level as he saw with the Fourth Hokage becoming Hokage out of ANBU.
But in this guild they are on par with the Jonin so I'll leave it at that.
On a side note I am very confused about the jutsu lol, some of the things I read through don't really add up. should I pm someone about further questions or just go spamming this thread with them lol sweatdrop

BAH! Kakashi has and always will be, again, like myself, simply made up of pure win.
...I mean c'mon, did you see him in his previous chronicles arc? He was Jounin at like 10 years old and was kicking-A! He totally let that dude blind his left eye because his awesome levels allowed him to see into the future and he was like 'Damn!... I gotta make room for that Sharingan'.
So, needless to say, he's just too awesome to be classified under any standard level of power.

...Sure, they could be Jounin level, but to say they are beyond that, or even at Kage level might be pushing it. (aside from a rare outlier like the 4th, who was said to basically be one of, if not the greatest shinobi that Konoha ever produced.)

Anyway yes liek I said chakra wise there probably isn't much of a difference between strength but over all skill and fighting ability the ANBU would kick serious a** unless of course faced with Former ANBU who are now Jonin, though this is rare as most ANBU are in the black ops for life having to much knowledge of top secret workings and in time of war having a vary short life expectancy.
