Ten Tails Phaeton thealievee I've taken most of my rp'ing to Tumblr but I'm trying to get back to an rp in another guild I helped a friend start. I haven't had nearly as many gripes about Tumblr rp's that I've had with the Gaia community. Well, Gaia has a whole slew of other problems to layer onto the community issues. It's probably heading for a long slow death spiral at this rate. Honestly, I doubt it will ever fully die. It's like World of Warcraft at this point. Too much of the population has invested too much time and money into the forum to just abandon it. It might shrink to near nothing, but there will always be a hardcore central group. Btw, Hi, I'mma back. Anyone remember me at this rate?
I remember you, and I imagine anyone who still remembers this place does too. |

I just joined a Disney Once Upon A Time-esque rp where the characters are human in our world with no memory of theirs.
And Puumba's fc is Emma Roberts, Kiara's fc is Ariana Grande and Nuka's fc is an Italian guy.
Plus side, Shenzi's fc is Lil Mama. Malificent is Mexican. I'm playing Vitani, Kovu, Yzma and hopefully Mulan. |

Okay I know that not all Africans are black but still why would they do that?
The genderbending I can understand, changing the race of certain characters isn't always a bad thing but really that's a bit much and what more their looks and personality doesn't fit any of those characters. None have that regal and powerful look.
You know what make Mulan, Peter Dinklage, it'll make as much sense as the rest. |

The genderbending is okay by the rules of the rp. (Zooey Deschanel is Prince Eric's fc)
I already made Nikki SooHoo her face claim.
The thing that peeves me off most is that I submitted Vitani and Kovu's characters before Nuka's mun submitted him. She saw that they were poc and still gave him a white fc. We're working it so that their mom's best friend is Nuka's mom and was adopted into their family.
I even looked up names that fit with their ethnicity. Asha is a Swahili name. |
