I'm not sure is doing subatomic particles is an element...That actually sounds more like a squad 12 sort of things.
When we say elements, we mean fire, water, wind, etc.

Subatomic particles has really nothing to do with elements like fire water wind and earth. Those deal with elements like Uranium, Helium, Hydrogen, and Magnesium!
I must conclude that any power including control of subatomic particles = godmod without question seeing as how one could now control matter and mass freely breaking the laws of physics and turning themselves into an H-Bomb...possibilities are endless!

Jan can already control subatomic particles, but it took me years to get around to giving Jan that kind of control.
And the elements of Squad 5 are the set from China, the Wu Xing. These are Wood, Fire, Metal, Water, and Earth, as well as the lesser-known Sun and Moon. Wind and Lightning are elements of the air, categorized with nature as Wood-affiliated.
