"Right. What's your name, guard? I'm Doctor Jeremy... I work on our most valuable project here, Project S, and since Layla and Erin are away from the lab, and all the other Myna units are occupied, I need defenders for DAI until they get back." Dr. Jeremy explained as he led them to Lab S. As he opened the door into the rather empty lab (empty of people... machinery and papers are everywhere...), he pointed towards the door in the back.
"DAI is in there. We need to guard him until either Layla or Erin return to the lab."
DAI 'felt' as Rosa came nearer, "Go through the door in the lab..."

"Oh cool, I didn't think I'd be assigned to such a major division!" Vexis said rather ditsy, trying to act interested in all this boring crap. "I'm...Ve- Valerie Jones, just Val for short." Vexis had to correct herself mid-sentence, giving out a fake name in case they recognized 'Vexis' from earlier, Vexis wasn't exactly a common name.
Rosa entered the lab, paying close attention to what little she could sense from behind DAI's doorway. Rosa glanced back at Jeremy briefly, her eye color changed to blue. "Switching to defense mode..." she explained, then stood by the doorway to DAI as if guarding it for real.
Vexis hesitantly followed after the 'Myna unit', standing by the other side of the door, occasionally looking back to the robot with caution.

Jeremy smiled nervously, "Yes, well, Sentinel is a major player in the Empire's technology base..."
"There are some visitors to the lab. Welcome." DAI said from the doorway, then quietly to Rosa, "I know you are masking yourself as one of the Myna units, but you will not be revealed by me. I only wish to communicate with you..."

"That task will not be as easy as it seems. I am not programmed to disperse information to anyone other than my creator. Along with the possibility of someone here being able to wiretap my personal communications channel..." Rosa explained to DAI mentally through her side-unit comm system.

"Information dispersal is unnecessary. I simply wish to communicate with you. Have you, by any chance, met the prototype known as MAI, or Military Adaptive Intelligence? She is a similar construction to your own frame, but has an AI based off my own. She is, unfortunately, constrained from free thinking by her command to obey Layla, Dr. Jeremy, and me... I did not send her after you... that was Dr. Erin's doing." DAI replied silently, "If she is destroyed, the final version will have more mechanisms in place to prevent destruction. Knowing this, It is in my best interest for you to destroy the MAI unit. Doing so will make a more powerful one, but it will also aid her brother... my final form... You will notice an armored exoskeleton in the room... that is the skin of the proposed final unit... But you must destroy MAI. It is imperative. Doing so will save many lives..."

"I have attempted to fight MAI, but nothing seemed to have worked very well..." Rosa looked over at Vexis, whom was staring at her the whole time. "Though there does seem to be a few errors in her system, I just need to calculate the proper timing to take advantage of those errors. MAI has a prototype M -Mimicry- system, does she not?" Rosa asked DAI, still watching Vexis.
Vexis crowded herself up against the wall as the robot observed her, defensively holding her arms in front of herself. 'What is that t-thing doing!?'

"Negative, she has a complete mimicry system. She only experiances flaws if the mimicked device is flawed. MAI is a leader unit for the Myna units." DAI replied.
Jeremy looked up from his work at Vexis, "Most likely analyzing you, Valerie. Don't worry, Myna units won't attack any personnel that are registered. If you aren't dead yet, you must be on the register. Or the Myna unit is malfunctioning, and we need to take it apart before it murders us all... or you aren't on the registry AND the Myna unit is malfunctioning, but that isn't the case, since DAI would tell me if that were, right DAI?"
"Indeed." The voice replied.

"Though MAI does not seem able to mimic programs nor internal systems...therefore explaining why my Osmosis remains un-copied..." Rosa thought out a few strategies that might work, all taking advantage of the flaws in Mimicry. Rosa looked over at Jeremy now, eye color switching back to green in the process. "A slight error has been located in my database, maintenance is required." She said to Jeremy, planning out her next move -which involved finding a place in this facility with high amounts of energy.

(( xd Uh-oh...Rosa has a plan...I thought up this idea last night... whee Mimicry isn't quite as good as it's cracked up to be...especially when it wont copy anything new!))

"Movement patterns inaccurate, mainly in arms and legs...suspected glitch in my central movement system..." Rosa explained, purposely making herself walk weird to demonstrate to the un-suspecting researcher.

"Right. I'll have to get you into the pod and replace those parts... Please step inside the pod so we can remove the faulty materials and replace them." Jeremy said, pressing a button on the computer to bring up the Prototype MAI's pod, "Luckily we have a repair station right here!"

((Nice metaphor... xd ))
Okay, so things were going a bit different then planned, Oh well, Rosa was designed to adapt to unexpected situations. "Improvising...I apologize..." Rosa said, purple Osmosis waves emanated off of her, draining the energy from most of the monitors and pods in the room (but not reaching DAI). Rosa struck at Jeremy, just hard enough to knock out a person, but not kill him. She looked back at Vexis now, almost expectantly. "Are you coming or not? And do not try to defend anyone here, I know you're not a guard, your heart rate moves too rapid than to be merely fear..."
