The speeding bullet raced towards the back of his neck, followed closely by a determined William - his mind was currently on Rogue as he flew towards her. These bastards would surely pay double for any blood spilt.
It was with slight annoyance that the void took over at that point, he was much looking forward to the collision with any bodies surrounding Rogue. In a small explosion of swirling mist, Kyrre disappeared briefly, then reappeared. He had but a moment to question the subconscious act before he saw the bullet strike a hole into the ground beneath him. The dodge took most of his velocity away, now he began to fall gently to the floor. He spun mid-air to face the direction the bullet came from and saw Will, glowing and crackling a little with power.
He smirked up at him, crossing his arms and tracing his fingers across his forearms. They now held small, black kunai in each of them. Carelessly he flung a handful in either direction, aimed for a variety of the people attacking his race. The last remained in his right hand, and he simply held it upwards facing Will - and readied his other hand to take the impact of the fall.

Getting Rogue off balance was all it took to shatter her mental defenses. Now inside the vampire's mind, the psychic rooted herself deeply into her subconcious so that she could not easily be removed. Grunting as Rogue hasitly pulled the knife out of her side, Lydia paused only to put a hand on the sluggishly bleeding wound before begining her assult on Rogue.
I meant it when I said I did not want to hurt you, Rogue. Look, look at what you made possible, look at the happiness you have brought into my life. Lydia thought to the elder, showing her images of little Aurora and the happiness she had with Will. You made this happen, Rogue. Whatever has changed you is trying to take that away, it is trying to destory what you have helped me to create. You are not only a killer, Aurora can be your godchild. You helped bring her into being, do not force her to begin her life marked by death.

Will cursed in Latin when Kyrre briefly flickered out of sight, dodging the bullet without even being concious of it. 'Damn it, he's got a subconcious defense of some sort. I was really hoping that shot would put him down for a while.
Seeing Kyrre face him, flinging out a bunch of kunai and bringing one up to meet his descent, Will cursed again. s**t... No choice. Bringing power up to 60%.
The hunter leader let a little more of his power flow through his body, and instantly a splitting headache formed while his muscles and tendons screamed as if they'd been dipped in acid. Determined, Will shoved the pain aside. He could work through pain, he was used to it. Flinging his left hand out to the side, he released the power formed in his hand in a gust of energy. The force launched him away and to the side, bringing him over to Kyree's left. Flipping in midair with a little assistance from his power in order to right himself, he aimed at Kyrre's center of mass and let loose the remaining four bullets in the clip.
Will winced as he felt the bones in his wrist crack. The force of the massive gun's recoil had been enough when fired in close succession that it had nearly snapped his wrist in half in spite of the stabilizing, shock absorbing stock strapp to his forearm. Ricardo wasn't kidding when he said that this thing had a kick.

It was all too much. Their thoughts. The fighting. The blinding bright light. Alexz felt it all building in her and it was overwhelming. Her breathing quickened and she fell to her knees, letting out a cry of both physical and mental pain. Bringing her hands to her head she pulled at her hair before disappearing.
She was a blur as she moved through the streets, draining the blood of various humans as she went. Not a slight feeling of guilt arose in her as she regained her energy quickly.
Alexz returned to the scene quickly, her cuts and bruises were healed, but her leg hadn't completely healed. She growled as she watched everything before her and squeezed her hands into fists/

Rogue's mind was racing, the pain of the diamond almost unbearable, the heartbeat above all else beat loud in Rogue's ears...she looked up at Lydia, knowing she could see Rogue's thoughts...her eyes pleading. I hear your blood moving through your veins...get out of here before I cannot control a thing...
Rogue's eyes glowed as Kaei fought for control... Rogue crouched down as she was on her knees. Pain filled her mind as she tried to wretch Lydia out...but Rogue was not skilled as a psychic by far. The diamond burned, and she felt Kyrre and Rikku... help...
A scream escaped her lips.

As Will finished firing off his full clip, he heard a piercing scream. Whipping his head in the direction of the sound, Will felt his blood chill. 'Rogue? Lydia? Oh crap. He needed to immobilize Kyrre or force him to retreat, and then he needed to get over there, fast.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Edith immediately felt a slight numbness and buzzing sensation in her temples as she received Lydia's telepathic message for her. God she hated using her powers when they still managed to make her feel shitty. It just helped to remind her how weak she actually was in comparisson to everyone here and that just helped to make her more determined to make herself useful. However, determination, when you were Meredith, could also lead to stupidity so she'd have to make sure to watch out for herself and make sure that she wasn't doing anything too rash or stupid that'd get someone else killed or herself killed. However, she'd managed to reign herself in so far and she hadn't did anything incredibly stupid as of yet and no one was attacking her yet either so her move on revealing herself hadn't been that stupid after all, which she was rather thankful for at the moment.
Once Lydia's message had been processed in Eden's mind and she'd pushed the numbness of her mind aside in order to think and properly function, she managed to get herself to respond. Of course responding just brought more numbness and more buzzing in her head, which was really irriating, however, she wanted to assure Lydia that her suggestion had not fallen upon deaf ears, or rather, a deaf mind. 'I gotcha Lyds, I'll make sure to get right on that and then I'll be right there to get that vampire off you. Be careful, Aurora doesn't need to grow up with a depressed father and no mother to raise her because you were reckless. I really don't think that Will would be able to go through that.' Yeah, as she went and talked, Edith gradually grew a little less irritated, however, once she cut her connection off, the irritating buzzing once again possessed her mind and left her with the start of one very bad headache.
Eden made her way to a safe place to use as cover so that she wouldn't be disturbed by anyone as she attempted to deliver her message to Sethe in order to get the current calvarly some backup. Hopefully this would be quick and no one would be terribly beaten up or dead by the time Sethe managed to round up the lycan elders and contact them for them so that they had an edge over the vampires. Well they'd likely have an edge, provided the lycan elders actually decided to aid them by showing up at the scene to combat their mortal enemies. She was pretty sure that they wouldn't turn up a chance to kick some vampire a** since the two held pretty big grudges against one another but then again one never knew with any of these races just how exactly they'd react.
Edith proceeded with sending her message, assuming that no one was going to attempt to disturb her since she was some weak underling anyway. So far things were going fine, she'd managed to get most of her message understandable while still keeping it short and sweet so that she wouldn't have someone intercept her message. Out of caution, Eden peered warily over her shoulder to assure that no one was attempting to intercept the message or try to get a cheap shot on her. Nope no one was behind her and no one was trying to take a cheap shot on her. Everything was going fine for now and she was almost through with delivering her message to Sethe. 'So far so good and no disruptions ... Almost finished ...' Edith's tongue portruded slightly from her mouth, directed off toward the side to show how hard she was trying to get this message finished. She was almost done ... 'Almost there, almost there ...'

"You hunters and your pathetic guns!" he growled angrily as the shots were fired. His eyes glowed black once more and he effortlessly raised his left arm to cover his body, as if holding a large tower shield over his body. The bullets flew towards it, then slowed to a halt as if caught in a tough net. With a flick of his left wrist the bullets were encased in a floating globule of void and thrown back at the injured wrist of the hunter. "Did you really think i'd be leaving without a good fight!?" he jeers, and with another flick of his right wrist, he sent another kunai at concentrating Lydia.
His body took the full might of the fall, hands too busy with attacks. Like a small quake - cracks in the concrete radiated outwards from the mess on the floor as he scrambled to regain his composure.

"Let's do this, Kuro." Neko muttered to him, feeling her wounds in this brief lull in battle. She was stronger than her wounds, and certainly stronger than this artifical monstrosity the two Tainted were fighting again. Daywalkers were an abomination that were plauging New York City; they had no right to exist. It would be up to her and Kuro to make sure that they stopped existing.
Rushing foward, claws bared, Neko made furious swipes at Rikku's face, hoping to force her back and away from everyone else on the docks. Neko knew that Kuro would help out, or at least attempt to injure Rikku and the young animalian pushed her back.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Eden checked once more to make sure no one was going to interrupt her, peeking over her shoulder and taking a hasty peek around the side of the crate she'd postitioned herself behind. Check, she was all clear and just about finished her message that needed just a few more words punched in before it was all good to go to Sethe. Spelling errors really weren't a concern right now, not that Edith had ever been a half-decent speller anyhow. She just needed to be good enough for people to understand what she was sending to them and she was able to do that much so that was at least a start. 'Almost there, almost there ... Hurry up, hurry up!' A few more seconds passed and she finally managed to punch the enter button in order to relay Lydia's message to Sethe. "Yes!" She shouted in celebration out loud, quickly tucking her HIN device away, happy that she hadn't screwed up her orders.
She then came out from behind her crate which she'd been using for cover and decided to survey the scene at hand. The person in Eden's mind that happened to be greatest priority was Lydia because she was human and she had a vampire going at her pretty hard. Suddenly the pitch black form of something flew past her line of vision and she realized within an instant that it was a kunai knife headed straight for Lydia. Alrighty, intercepting it would be easy enough as there was nothing else going at her and no one was bothering Meredith at the moment. Eden grinned, revealing her ivory white fangs that gleamed in the darkness of the night, seeming to almost glow as she began to take off in order to intercept the kunai. The grin was perhaps a slight bit maniac and didn't really suit Eden but she really wasn't paying attention to anything else but what she was planning to do.
With a sudden burst of speed, she began accelerating her body toward the knife in order to properly intercept it. Her vampiric speed was rather difficult to control but in this instance she really didn't have to think too much about it since her target was the knife. Within an instant, Edith had carried herself across the docks, having successfully caught the knife, barely having to lift a finger in order to do so. She smiled in satisfaction as she chose to 'yoink' the knife and keep it for herself in order to use it against any stupid vampires that decided to attack her friends since she obviously wasn't a concern to them in any way whatsoever. That worked out just perfectly for Edith because she didn't really feel like getting her a** kicked by an elder at the moment. However, if this kept up she was eventually going to have to assist William and Lydia as they were much more frail in build than she was.
When Rogue's scream broke through the fairly silenced scene at the dock, Edith flinched upon the frequency of it as it took a major toll on her ears. Her instinct told her that it was, in fact, Rogue's scream which meant that Lydia was probably going to need some assistance in the very near future or perhaps the present. Within another instant Eden had carried herself all the way over to Lydia in order to place herself between the writhing vampire upon her knees and Lydia in case the vampire decided to lash out at her unexpectly. God knew that the vampire could since even Eden could and she was only six months vampire. "Lyds," Edith told her aloud, finding it simpler to communicate with the psychic verbally as it didn't make her head buzz and spin, "gimme a shout if you're needing help. I've got your back so just tell me if you need me to do something."
For whatever reason, Edith was being extremely protective and felt that it was her duty to assure that neither Lydia nor William were killed tonight. Of course she'd always felt that way but she'd never been this compelled and she felt that it had something to do with the fact that she was now a vampire and had unnatural speed and strength that they did not possess as she did. For that reason she felt that she was more responsible for them since she was faster and could do things more conveniently for them than she could have before. Of course she'd been a human once and knew that these two could handle themselves, however, these elders were super-powered with whatever the hell they'd done to themselves and it made Edith worry. At least something jabbed through the place where her dead heart was wouldn't kill her but the same could not be said for William or Lydia and it worried her.

Tokeru smiled in satisfaction, it had been no small feat to slow down the kunai barely enough so Edith would not notice it, yet still slow it down enough so she would reach it before it hit anyone.
He looked around, satisfied that no one knew where he was, mainly because he was not moving, and because he was bending light around him, hiding his form. It was taking a toll on him, keeping his mind focused on something like this was hard, but it was even harder now with his shattered mind. It was like two people were living in one mind, yet agreeing on everything.
He kept his eyes out on the hunters, especially Edith, the other two could handle themselves, Edith could too, but he would be devastated if anything happened to her, even if he couldn't prevent it.

Will growled lowly in his throat, a trait that he'd picked up from Sethe. 'Damn it straight to hell! Bullets aren't working, and I bloody don't want to engage a vamp Elder in hand to hand if I can help it. Think Will, think! Use that devious little mind that you're so famous for!'
Praying that Lydia would be alright, Will kept his eyes focused on Kyrre, knowing that he couldn't afford to take his eys off of the vampire now. Bringing up his left forearm much like Kyree had, the Hunter concentrated on what he wanted from his power and his own shield formed. Only instead of Kyrre's shield of shadowy darkness, his was a shield of blazing light. As soon as the redirected bullets hit his shield, they broke apart and fell to the ground as harmless dust. Four bullets were nothing to him; at full power he could and had stopped hundreds at once, much to the dismay and ultimate demise of Mauser's lackeys.
Finally surrendering to gravity, Will joined Kyree in crashing into the concrete, left hand outstretched to support him as he landed in a crouch and the hard ground underneath him cracked. Faintly glowing with the shimmers and wisps of his power dancing around his form, Will stood nearly effortlessly. He tried to refrain from using the power considering the ill affects it had on his body should he use too much for too long, but he loved the benefits it had in combat. At full power, he just might be a match for an Elder of even Kyrre's strength, but seeing as how using that much power for more than a couple of minutes would be almost certain to kill him he wasn't anxious to find out.
Snarling at Kyrre as the Elder scrambled to his feet, Will unlatched Testament's special stock from his forearm and cast it to the side, letting a bit of his power flow into his injured wrist and heal it. "Alright Kyrre, we'll do it your way. No guns."
Reaching behind himself, right hand going over his shoulder to hold the handle and left hand sliding along his waist to grasp the double-bladed axe head, Will unsheathed the Hellbringer from his back. This axe was a masterpiece, a perfect blend of the modern and the ancient, the mystical and the technological. More than that, it also served as a mark of his rank as leader.
Grasping it, he held it overhead for a second before swinging it in Kyrre's direction... Sending the readied flash-bang grenade that he'd covertly unhooked from his belt and placed between the dual spearheads tipping the end of his weapon with his left hand flying right at Kyrre's face. A second after leaving it's perch on the end of his axe, the grenade exploded with flashes of blinding light and booming peals of sound that would be painful to say the least to a vampire with greatly enhanced senses. To offset any damage that he himself might sustain from the flash-bang, Will closed his eyes tightly and opened his mouth in a silent scream even as he flung the Hellbringer up into the air. Jumping up after it he used his power-infused reflexes to unholster Truth and Mercy from his sides, firing blindly in a wide yet concentrated spread of over thirty bullets at where Kyrre had been standing the moment that the grenade had gone off. Sure he'd said no guns, but he'd use any dirty trick he had to in order to survive and win; honor and fair play meant little to the dead, and he had every intention of seeing his baby girl tonight.

Lydia continued to hold onto Rogue, despite the vampire's protests for her to leave. You think very little of me if you think I will let you just murder me here and now when I have someone I need to live for. Do not deprive my daughter of a mother, Rogue. Lydia thought into Rogue's mind, not even seeing or hearing Edith as she spoke. Fight whatever it is that has changed you. The Rogue I once knew would never have bathed herself in so much blood that mere human noses would be able to smell it. Fight whatever it is that has tainted you. I can help you, Rogue. I can help you become yourself again. Let me help you regain what you have lost.
