Lavi jumped a little when Luci exploded with joy at the promise of a present, nearly falling forward when she jumped on his back, planting his hands firmly on the ground in front of him to steady himself. He'd never seen anyone quite so excited over a present. "Ok, well, the pressure's on now..." He laughed a little, slowly raising his hands from the floor again once he'd found the balance to accommodate the added weight on his back.
"And how have you been?" He turned his attention to Liv, looking up at her.

((Kiah: It was the rabbit's fault! Seriously! She sent me a teaser for the chapter she's been keeping from me, then I had to get payback by sending her part of one of my fics, then she sent me another one, then-well you get it! It was her fault!!!))

Luci held on with one arm and started to play with Lavi's hair, totally engrossed in her own little imaginary world.
Liv fidgeted when Lavi asked how she was. Not just because of everything with Tyki, but because of the fight she had with Sil just a few days before. She doubted because of the conversation that Sil would have told him about it, but she couldn't help feeling terrible. Not only had she put her nose where it really didn't belong, but she had said something that really would hurt Lavi if he found out. She felt like she had completely betrayed him the other day, especially when she had been the one to urge him to make his move in the first place.
"Oh..you know," she shrugged a little, "What about you..?"

Lavi frowned when Liv seemed uncomfortable with his inquiry and at her less than informative answer. Everyone always had their ups and downs and he wasn't usually one to pry, especially if they seemed avoidant, but Liv was always the one he'd turn to when he had a problem or needed someone to talk to and she'd always take the time to listen to him and give advice, and he hoped that he could give her that same courtesy. He wasn't sure how much help he'd be with any problems she might have, he had enough trouble fixing his own, but he could at least lend her an ear, if she wanted it.
"Are you okay?" He ignored the returned question, looking at her with slight worry.
