Oh yes, definitely the beginning of the end. She squealed and squirmed hanging down quite unattractively and kicking halfheartedly though she was laughing too hard to really fight him. "Telling you to put me down won't do anything either, will it?" Sighing and blowing her long hair out of her face. "Okay you found a plan B, but I'm still not telling you." Propping an elbow on his shoulder and her palm in her hand as she waited to hear what he'd randomly decided to do about his little problem.

Victory in this way was alwyas fun...it was simple and most always put her into a series of laughs until she was just to pleasantly pleased she she more compliant. "Well...maybe it's not important for me to know. Though being the ever patient man that I am, I can outlast you." Carrying her upstairs and taking her to their room, plopping her into the desk chair and runing her to it, promptly plopping on the edge of the bed then and facing her. "I can wait all day, how about you?"

"If you want your dessert, I rather think it is essential for you to know." Unless of course he could somehow figure out the combination she'd used, almost like figuring out a combo lock of sorts. She tested to see where his runic boundaries were located, noting that her butt was pretty much stuck to the chair but she could move her hands and feet, legs and arms pretty freely. Twisting, she propped her legs on the desk, letting the slit in her dress reveal the full leg and quirked a brow. "I have nothing to do today. Are we just going to stare deeply into each other's eyes? Have a staring contest? Or I suppose I could figure out my accounts while I'm sitting here...."

"Like I said, I have all day. And more patience that you." Watching her as she shifted so that fabric fell and he merely crossed his arms over his chest and propped his boot on his opposing knee, tilting his head at her. "You do that, meanwhile." A shift of energy signaling runes and up popped a little green globe of energy to which he could physically seem to spin it as needed, touching fingertips to certain key spots as if he was trying to figure a puzzle of sorts.

Reaching into a drawer, she pulled out a candle and lit it by using her magic, letting it burn. More patience, hmm? At least he thought he did. However, she was making a few changes to her own personality in minor ways and attempting to pull more patience was just one of them. Quirking an eyebrow at him, she studied her nails and then blinked, curiosity piqued. "What is that?" She never could resist a puzzle and he knew it. Was this one of his tricks?

"Oh just a little rune trick that I never taught you. Masters have many a secret that a student will never know and that an opponent will never see. You haven't even seen half of my bag of tricks." Smirking at her and continuing...of course he was undoing her little runic combinations. After all runic pockets still had to be scribed didn't they? Though he did keep glancing to that candle that was there. Her candles were usually something to be weary of...hm, a momentary pause of his hands to let his fingers scribe something else, bringing up a breeze. Heh, runics.

"Mmhmm. I tease you with sex and you tease me with knowledge." Watching quite intently until she saw that breeze and moved to protect her little flame. "Don't you dare." Counteracting his breeze to gentle it so that the aroma of spicy chocolate from the scented candle would permeate the room even more potently rather than extinguish the flame completely. "So...what precisely does it do?"

Oh so she was going to play hard ball was she? Fine. Thusly another motion of fingers to bring forth the feel of silk ribbons sliding against her skin in that sensous manner...before her arms and legs pulled in tight to her sides and against the chair and pinning there with that same feeling of wrapped silk. Ha. Though he couldn't do much about the new and oh so intriguing smell in the room...it was almost like dessert. "It resolves the runics of others when one cannot directly break them with counter runes." Grinning to her at that. "And you get frustrated when you try to tease me with sex."

Since her legs hadn't moved from their spot on the desk, they pulled together at the ankles and she knew immediately what he was about to do but didn't have much recourse against it. He was too fast with his fingers and she knew he'd amped up his runics so that it was much harder to undo them. Shifting uncomfortably at the oh-so-delectable feeling of silk caressing her skin, she closed her eyes for a moment and tried to isolate the arousal that was pumping through her body. "So instead of prying the answer out of me with nefarious means, you choose instead to try to be smarter than me. Clever but as usual, you pick the least fun way to do things. How long does it typically take?" Because she'd spent the better part of a month putting the complex combination together and memorizing it and if he broke it open in a few minutes she was going to be mad.

"I was only good at being nefarious when it came to killing things. I highly doubt you want to be one of those things and I like it when I'm smart, makes me feel good." He did enjoy it when he figured things out...guess he'd always been one for puzzles and the like, it was just his thing. Physical was rarely his means of acqusition. Though he did smile in the knowledge that he knew how she felt about silk against her skin...and yes he was doing it on purpose because he could. "Who says I can't have fun? Or you for that matter." A brush of proverbial silk ribbon against her cheek and neck then even as his eyes were on that energy ball of his. "Depends on how complex things are. A few minutes...hours...days...who knows. But does it matter? You said you had all day."

"Well, no but when I say nefarious I tend to mean the good side of evil. Like you are doing right now..." There went the silk yet again. He knew her weaknesses, what she enjoyed and what she absolutely hated and he used that knowledge just as a lover should. That was part of the reason she was doing this right now. Suffering so that he might get some sort of enjoyment out of the process and thus be more open to whatever might occur. It wasn't manipulative because she was leaving it up to him and expecting nothing. Normally, she'd guide him into more intimate territory but this time she was letting him decide if he even wanted to enter that sphere. She'd get enjoyment out of watching him break her code because it was a rare moment of true enjoyment for him. "Currently I'm not having very much fun. And while I may have all day, I'd like to think I at least present some kind of challenge to you."

Chuckling lightly and keeping his attention on said orb...though that didn't mean that his runes were stopping that brushing they were doing to her or that he wasn't glancing her way from time to time. Though his mind demanded that he solve this just as his stomach demanded he finish that dessert. Yes he was indeed enjoying what he was doing...both to her and this problem solving. "I think you're having more fun than you want other people to know and you're more than enough of a challenge on a daily basis." Chuckling and his eyes lighting up as that sphere flashed bright a moment before disappearing. Going over to her, he opened up that runic pocket...and fished out his dessert. Trophy presenting it in front of her he sat back down with his spoon and took to finishing it off. With an oh so pleased smile to his face. "The student has yet to outshine the teacher. Though I like being better than you at something, you trump me in most other areas." AN extra twist of fingers in runics to her.

She was still squirming uncomfortably as silk brushed against her sensitive skin, causing her to twist about and nearly utter a soft noise or two. Trussed up like a goose, really, and stuck that way until he decided to do something about it. The brighter glow of the orb distracted her for a moment and she knew he'd broken the code. At the very least he hadn't been able to break it in a few seconds and that mollified her ego a bit. What little bit was left smarting was healed instantaneously by the way he presented his dessert so proudly to her and then sat down quite satisfied with himself. She loved seeing him proud of one of his accomplishments. "Not through lack of trying, I assure you that." Shaking her head and closing her eyes as a very pleasurable shudder raced through her. This time she couldn't keep the soft sigh from escaping, nor her fingers from clenching on the arms of the chair. "I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself."

Oh yes, he was enjoying what was left of his dessert and that was the focus of his attention mostly. But a little chuckle at her noise and he sat aside the now empty glass with his spoon and rather childishly leaned back on his hands on the bed, watching her with his head cocked to one side. Oh yes he was quite enjoying messing with her...it was half scary perhaps that he was encouraging such fires when he usually didn't. Usually he just never felt it without provocation...hm...evil candles. But not as evil as the couch. "I think you're enjoying yourself more." Fingers making idle movements in runic gestures, adding in that caressing slightly pressured feeling to exposed skin that indeed felt like a warm palm passing over.

She was winning on all accounts today. He not only had eaten the way he was supposed to but he'd enjoyed every minute of it and even stuck around and enjoyed dessert. On top of that he'd taken pride in something he'd done and she was getting a bit of tender loving care out of the deal as well. Yes, things were certainly looking u- Interrupting her thoughts, her mind tangented completely, eyes drifting closed and her cheek turning into her shoulder as if someone was behind her running his hands up her arms. It was rather frightening what that man could do. Oh! And now he was at her feet, sliding oh so slowly up her exposed legs as well. The heated sensation left as quickly as it came and she couldn't resist a smirk. "You missed a spot..."
