He hadn't thought about the future much since everything with Alma. He had finally been living in the present instead of the unknown of his faint memories. He had finally been able to stop searching. Since then he hadn't thought much about what used to be or what could be in the road ahead. He started to wonder then what did lie ahead in his path. He would continue fighting until the war was over at the very least. How long would that be for? What would happen if he lived through that? He snapped back out of it when she asked what he meant.
"Oh. It's..."
He didn't know how to answer. He assumed most people had heard about what happened once it was all out in the open. Once all the terrible things the Order had done had been revealed. No one spoke about it, but they knew.
"A story for another time."

Kiah didn't want to end up prying into his business, so she acted as if it didn't happen. "Did you want to look at anything else in here?" she asked, noticing that he hadn't really looked at much in the shop.

"Okay!" Kiah headed out the door and started walking towards the pharmacy, twisting around and making sure he was still following. She wondered if he was going to be right next to her in there and frowned, hoping he would be distracted by something else while she grabbed her pills.
"After this I'll get you that soba I promised," she stated, walking towards the doorway.

He followed her right into the pharmacy and up to the counter. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms as he waited for Kiah to get her prescription. He wondered what it was for, what kind of medicine she had to take. He hoped she wasn't sick in anyway.
