Maria continued to watch Scuro closely, but realized that the snake was quickly weakening. She continued to float in place, watching.
Cross watched as she pushed the pair further. That's it, Sil... When Leche came rocketing towards him, he wasn't surprised in the least. He knew that the snake white as snow was pure and defensive, and would not cause him any harm. He didn't flinch one muscle as the snake coiled around him, although he did find the sensation uncomfortable. He wasn't used to the restricting coils and wasn't sure he liked the feeling all too much. He kept a smirk on his face though and tilted his head down to look it in the eyes.
"Practicing keeping me out of danger, Leche?" he almost cooed, actually rather taken with the creature, "That's a good little beast."
When Sil lost her strength and deactivation was forced, he let out a small breath, relieved of the snake's pressure against his rib cage. He could see Sil had become very tired already, but he wasn't ready to stop yet, "Alright. That was good, Sil. But I want to do one more thing before I let you off easy. You need to learn more hand-to-hand techniques, so you can conserve most of your energy for if you really need Scuro and Leche as a last effort to protect yourself. Work through the pain just a little for me."

Sil wrung her hands a few more times, easing the ache in her joints and the pins and needles from the sudden return of her skin. She threw Cross an incredulous glance at his next words feeling slightly insulted that he thought her hand-to-hand technique needed work. It was the fighting style that she worked on the most.
"What, with you?" She actually laughed then. "I have never seen you actually get your hands dirty... Ever," a finger lifted to her chin, tapping the curve of it gently as she recalled the times she had trained and fought along his side. "Well... Except when you slammed Levierre's face into that table..." Her eyes softened then and she laughed quietly. "He didn't see that coming until his nose was gushing blood..."
