Sil shook her head slowly at the familiar nickname, rolling her eyes beneath closed lids. She wasn't really watching what the two were doing for a moment, focusing solely on the concentration of holding them outside of herself. Keeping her Innocence activated in this form was literally like losing a part of herself, holding it cupped in her hands like trying to capture water. Over time her energy trickled through her fingers, and though she could sometimes force a refill, it eventually turned into an uphill battle.
Scuro was half heartedly attempting to eat Maria, lunging at her with no real intent on eating the oddly disturbing and wonderous being. Cross was the only person known to have control over two Innocence which was an amazing feat in itself. Had he wanted to, he could have put her Innocence in it's place in a matter of seconds. He snapped at her, hissing quietly with his forked tongue lapping at the air, like a cat toying with a mouse. The distraction was enough to keep him moving a little further.
Being a smartass and knowing that Leche's purpose was far from that of Scuro's, she shifted her right arm, the one tattoed with white, and sent Leche shooting off diagonally. If they were ever in battle this would be his purpose, and as soon as he made it close enough to Cross, the white snake intended on curling it's body around him to create a protective barrier. She smirked a little bit, Leche making a soft hissing noise almost like laughing before the snake rested his head on a coiled part of his body.
However, the further she pushed, the weaker the connection came, and as Scuro moved forward at some point the invisible marionette string snapped. Rapidly, the snakes deteriorated into nothing, the beautiful flakes of green reappearing to form the silvery Innocence along her arms again. Sil let out a soft gasp, feeling like a dam had just broken lose, and squeezed her fingers together with pain touching her features. "That's it. That's as far as they can go... and goddamn it, I really wanted Scuro to eat her," she muttered. "But eating a zombie would probably make him sick somehow."
