My dad does that too. It seems like he goes out of his way to find something to gripe about when it comes to other people's driving.

Yeah. Much better than feeling worse.
And I just thought of something - 'a plus' is a pretty common term, but no one says 'a minus' if something is worse. It's kind of strange.
