((Please excuse my absence. I was fighting...demons))
Soma was taken aback at the young girl's response. Part was from her assertive, presumptuous words. He was almost insulted. Part was from her lack of response. She hadn't addressed her father's absence any further. The misdirected reception he received when she came to the door made it clear the girl loved her father dearly. For her to pay no more attention to the matter was strange, even considering her being upset.
He looked at the akuma and tilted his head in the direction of the door. Soma entered the room followed by the akuma. He grabbed a couple pieces of luggage and left the rest for them. Quickening his pace, he caught up with the girl, walking by her side. Though this should be nothing, he took the word "escort" very seriously. Heaven forbid something would happen to the girl while she were under his care. Repercussions aside, he couldn't bear the guild. He waited for her to say anything more.
Staying close to her, outside to the carriage awaiting its passengers. The young man loaded the items he carried onto their transport. He walked over to the door for the carriage and opened it for the girl. He held out a hand to assist her entrance.

Luci didn't say anything for their entire walk to the carriages. She clung to her bun-bun and kept to herself, not caring to engage the man in conversation. When they got to the front door she hurried down the steps, her little shoes clacking with each step. As they reached the bottom where the carriage waited, she turned back to look up at the enormous Mansion she had always called home. Her frown was gone and her face was blank as she started at the immense structure. Her eyes softened at all the memories, and she couldn't stop the sadness she felt. Tears started to well in her eyes, but she turned her back on her home and on them, taking the few steps to the carriage. She didn't take Soma's offered hand, and clambered up on her own. She took the seat farthest from the door and wedged herself right in the corner, tucking her legs up underneath herself. She leaned against the side of the carriage and stared out the window at the lush front courtyard. She didn't look back at the mansion once as she waited for the rest of her luggage to be loaded and Soma to join her in the carriage.
Liv was waiting patiently outside her favorite cafe. She was anxious to see her daughter, and nervous at the prospect of seeing Tyki again for the first time since she left. She gave a small sigh and fiddled with her hands.
