Kanda stalked in and declined to sit, crossing his arms across his chest roughly. He had a very serious expression on his face and stared hard at Komui.

Komui suppressed his surprise and steepled his fingers together, sighing tiredly. As much as he'd hated the project himself, if Kanda had known that the American Branch was doing something similar to his predicament, he could have lost it and made more trouble for himself with Leverrier and Central.
"What exactly are you referring to in regards to Chaoe...?" he tested, adjusting his glasses and staring with the same intensity the man before him was displaying.

"She's a project?" he replied incredulously.
He uncrossed his arms and placed one hand on his hip, the other on Mugen's hilt. He started to pace around angrily. He couldn't decide if he was more angry because of the mere fact that they still had projects, and a fairly new one at that, or because Chaoe was one of the ones involved.
"How are they still doing this!?" he yelled loudly, his hand tightening around Mugen with his anger.
"Everything that happened. Everything with...," he choked, skipping over the name, "And they're still..."
