Taki began to clean the outside of the house, trying not to get soap in to the mouths on his hands.
Sari was watching carefully, poor Taki... since when did his dad drink?

Tai shook his father some more before getting hit with a beer bottle and slammed down. "Ack! Dad! It's me! Tai! Your son!"
The father blinked a bit and got off before grabbing another drink and plopping back onto the couch. "You worthless brats came back?"
Tai rolled his eyes and started to pick up the bottles. "Dad I know your sad mom died but it's been five years! Get over it!" He threw the bottles into a bag to take out later.
The father growled. "Shut up Tai, I miss her and I wish you two would of died instead of her, your both worthless and not even worth life." He threw the bottle at Tai's back, it shattered on the ground.

Taki finished up the outside of the house and peeped his head in through a window.
"Dad? Do you need anything?"
Sari stuck up and silently landed on the room.

Tai washed off some of the blood on his forehead before walking past Tavi to go outside. He sat by the door and gripped his hair. "It's all because of him that Tavi is still going after that girl!"
The father growled more when Tavi spoke and showed his face. "Did you even pass those chunin exams or was my money wasted on you again?" He hated Tavi the most because his mom had been raped when his father was gone so he wasn't his son technically, his mother loved him though.

Tavi sighed.
"No dad, Sari interrupted... but trust me, they're having retrials tomorrow to finish the exams and I'll pass then.." He smiled.
Sari looked over the roof of the house at Tai and fell over the edge, her feet still gripping the edge. She stopped right in front of his face, their noses almost touching.
"You okay Tai?"

The father growled and broke the bottle before tossing glass at Tavi. "WORTHLESS!" He pulled his hair back and stood up. "Then go take those retrials and don't come back until you've passed!"
Tai opened his eyes, it was hard to scare him. "No..." He mumbled, he looked almost twenty but very handsom, he just didn't go into villages very much so he had no girl he cared about.

Tavi nodded.
"O-Okay!" She pulled his head back out and went to go train.
Sari flipped back down so she was sitting in front of him.
"I'm..... sorry, about your mom, I had no clue, no one told me.... You know I would have came down to help, right? We were all friends at one point and time..."

The father went back to sleep, breaking some more bottles before going asleep.
Tai raised a eyebrow. "It's ok...she was already sick when she had Tavi but she tried to survive for awhile...the saddest thing is she died on her birthday...s-she was 30..." He finally broke down into tears, their father made them isolated from the villages and was so strict and drunk.

Sari awkwardly hugged Tai.
"Man that had to suck.... I wish I would have been here to help, but Hari said that there was a person in Kiri who could help me hear again... so we took the chance...." The guy had been able to restore Hari's hearing through the head phones but couldn't do anything for Sari.

Tai got wide eyed when she hugged him but hugged back, he needed it a lot. "It's ok, and I'm sorry if my brother hurt your friend in the exams...he really likes you but dad kinda taught him the wrong way to treat other people." He let go and rubbed the back of his head.

Tai set his hands on her shoulders after wiping his tears away. "I-I know...he just wants our father to like him for once...he'll do anything to get your love, even destroy who you love. Please don't kill him..." He begged almost.

Sari looked taken aback, then sigh sighed and slumped.
"F-Fine.. b-but if he attacks Kemo-kun again.. he's gonna get hurt." She clenched her jaw.

Tai nodded and fixed his hair. "Just don't kill him...I'd rather he be in a prison then living here with dad..." He pulled his collar down a bit to show the scars their father gave him. "He gave Tavi a lot more."

Sari nodded.
"o-Okay.." She stood up. "I have to get back to the exam..." She walked away, jumping back on to Tayu. She got back to Kumo a lot faster than she had before and walked in to the hospital, she had to make sure Kemono was okay.
