I think that UVIC needs something like an 86% average. UBC is higher standards. Capilano wasn't even a university until last year. Anyone with a pulse can go there. That's why I am going there. Because I'm a ******** that is still alive.
Your not going to the main Vancouver campus? Is that the one that is hard to get in?
Here you can get in NMSU (or UNM) just by having fulfilled certain requirements such as high school GPA of 2.5 or something and a ACT/SAT score of 20 or something and by taking certain core classes in which the high schools all prepare you for this.
I didn't take the ACT, but I am in NMSU MAIN CAMPUS. That's because we went to a community college for 1 year first (NMSU-Alamogordo) then transferred (more like just changed status). It is among the only way to get into a 4 year college without taking the ACT since ACT/SAT is one of the main things you need to immediately get into a 4 year college. Even people with GED's will have to had taken the ACT/SAT!! If they didn't then they can do what I did as stated above. Go to CC.
Not sure if your place has this policy. If not then I wouldn't be able to go to college there at all.
eek If you do not know, ACT/SAT (both seperate) are tests you do in such to get into college. I'm sure your universities have that to since you mentioned an average.
