(( John: Haha, did you take Mythology, or just want to read them? XD And it's fine, I wouldn't want you to go through all that! D:
Liv: Ohhhhhh fancy.... ))
"We'll have to see about that," she challenged lightly, not doubting his words in the least. Kiah nodded gratefully as he held the door open, skipping out into the hallway.
She wasn't used to walking with someone that didn't try to fill the silence, so it was strange to her that he didn't attempt to start up a conversation of some sort. It wasn't a bad thing, it was just... different. She walked along with him, looking out the widow at the wooded area, where all of the plant life was growing strong. "... I'm going to have to go back once everything's grown in..." she commented softly, feeling silly even talking about it.

((I wish I had to take Mythology. But it was required reading in my standard English class.
And that's actually the photo I wanted to upload. Liv did it for me.))

He was relieved that she accepted the silence, as he actually enjoyed it. He didn't need conversation, and was often more content just to be in company without speaking. That was one of the main reasons he was often alone, because no one knew how to keep quiet. It didn't bother him though when the silence was quietly broken. He looked to Kiah as she spoke, and then past her in the direction she was looking. His eyebrows raised slightly in curiosity.
"Go where?"

(( John: Ohhhhh, I see! It wasn't required for me, but I thought it would be a fun class to take. : P ))
"Into the woods...," she said, unable to keep the smile off her face. "I love watching everything grow and change every year... Explore it when I have a chance, see what's different since the last time I was there..." Kiah laughed nervously and turned away from the window, feeling stupid talking about the trees.
"I suppose that seems kind of silly, but it's one of my favorite places to be," she shrugged in embarrassment, letting the silence surround them again.

"No...it's not silly," he replied gently, a slight smile on his lips.
He could relate to that sort if quiet solitude, not exactly looking for anything specific, just being there and observing. Yet another reason he enjoyed being alone as opposed to around the other Exorcists. There was something about watching things grow and change that provided some kind of fulfillment for the soul. He knew it was almost an escape at times, and briefly wondered if there was something she was trying to run from. Regardless of the reason, he could see the intrigue of it.
"I understand why you enjoy it."

(( I would highly recommend it! : D It's a ton of fun!
Good morning Sil! <3 What's... with the face? Wait... work? D': ))
"Really...? Some people tell me it's weird when I try to explain," she smiled shyly, thinking about how her friend reacted when she told him. Kyle had simply looked at her in confusion, still believing that it was to find places where he would never find her. Kiah would admit to being an excellent player at hide and seek, though.
"I used to sleep out there sometimes...," she trailed off, feeling uncomfortable with talking about herself. In reality, she'd spent a lot of nights out by herself, but she shook her head clear of those thoughts before they could ruin her good mood. "Do you have a place like that...? Um, where you're happy?" she asked awkwardly, wanting to change the subject while sincerely wanting to know.

His eyes widened significantly, "You slept outside?"
He thought about how dangerous that could be, but he couldn't judge. He was glad that she 'used' to do it though, which insinuated that she didn't do it anymore. He faltered a little at her posed question, not expecting it. He thought about it, and watched the ground travel beneath them as they walked.
"A place where I'm happy...," he repeated quietly.
He thought about everything that had happened with Alma and he smiled a little at the memory. It wasn't a happy place for him as much as a place where he was finally at peace.
"It's not a physical place...but I do have..something like that, I guess."
He looked at her from the corner of his eye and teased, "Maybe I can share your forest since I don't have a place of my own."
