She laughed happily and cheered, gloating a bit. "I did! And you didn't see it coming, did you?!" she asked, loosening her hold on his neck and trying to pull her legs out of his grip. "Not at all," he said with a mocking tone, trying to make it obvious that he saw it coming.
He felt her trying to get down and lowered himself, letting her legs slip from his hands as he eased her down. When he was free of her grasp he straightened up and cleared his throat, going back to what he had been doing before.
He finished attaching Mugen around his hips and laid his shirt and coat over his arm, not wanting to put them on and make them sweaty. He turned and looked at her and spoke again, a little softly.
"It was good training with someone else," he admitted, "...Maybe we can do it again another time."

"Well... You didn't know I was going to do that... I think," Kiah pouted, making sure to avoid his hair while she slid back down to the ground. While he was busy collecting his things, she did the same, putting on her coat and throwing her hair up once her back was covered. That outfit was going in the wash right after her shower, so she didn't worry about the sweat.
She blinked at him in surprise, cheeks turning slightly red. Kiah didn't really think he'd want to, since she wasn't strong enough to keep up with him. "I'd like that...," she smiled happily at him, glad he was even considering it. "I could use some more practice so I can kick your butt one day."

He moved towards the door and held it open for her before following her out into the hall. He didn't want to admit to himself that he was actually enjoying her company, but it was a hard feeling to ignore because it was foreign to him. A developing friendship was a new experience for him, at least with someone closer to his age. He had gotten close to Chaoe lately, but that was completely different. He continued to walk with her quietly, not knowing what to do or say.
