He stared into her, his eyes filled with remorse and sarrow. "I understand if you want me to leave."

Jaden was slinking through the back streets to avoid being seen, he could smell Rein's blood and to him it was as easy to follow as a physical path. The trail went inside a building. Damn. Jaden thought. I won't turn into a human right now, theres to much going on.
He glanced up at the building. Rein was up there somwhere.
Jaden dug his claws in and started climbing.

Jax smelled something different in the air, the scent of that other lycan. "Rein, I'm sorry for leaving you so suddenly, a figure from my past came to kill me and i couldnt get you involved for the fear of you getting hurt or worse."

Jaden could smell him, the male Lycan from the ally that had called him 'Goliath', he was up there right now with Rein. If he had hurt her then Jaden would rip him apart.
Digging his claws in Jaden gathered his strength and lept the remainder of the distance to Reins apartment. From the balcony Jaden nearly broke the door as he opened it into the room.

Jax hadn't turned to face the newcomer. Jax had been expecting him, his eyes darted to where the gigantic lycan stood. Jax gave the creature a venomous glare and a physcotic smile. "Hi Goliath." Jax stood his ground.

Jaden lunged at the other Lycan with amazing speed. He was no longer thinking, his only desire was to inflict as much pain as possible.

:She watched Jaden lunge and she darted between them. She wrapped herself around Jax, she didn't care if he was bigger than her, she didn't want him to be hurt. She wanted to protect him just this once.:
