Andou's eyebrows went up as a sort of natural reaction as he appraised Mokujin. This guy was a bit too cheerful... and kind of wooden. Well stranger things existed in the ninja world and hell, the students were already used to it so he would have to adapt too. "Yes, yes, I am Andou," he confirmed with a nod. "And you must be Mokujin-san?" He listened as Mokujin invited him along to their mission. It would have to be a pretty simple one for students to be allowed to take part in... or maybe this was just Mokujin's style of teaching. Andou's interest was piqued.

"Sure," he answered. "I'm free for the rest of the day anyway." He fell silent again, looking at the kids, before asking Mokujin, "Do you have their files? I'd like to look at them... and by the way, what happened to Hoshigaki over there?" It wasn't a very smooth transition or delivery but Andou wasn't a smooth talker. Besides, seeing Hiru limp and unconscious was a 180 degree turn from what he normally saw of the bouncing shark boy. It was a bit alarming actually.

Mokujin was thrilled that the chuunin had agreed to join the mission. Even though this somewhat changed his plans, he'd have an occasion to crank the difficulty up a little bit. "Yes dat is me", Mokujin answered the first question. "I'm glad you'll be joining us Andou-kun, I tink you will prove very valuable along dis mission.", he added. It wasn't very clear what Mokujin knew or what he had planned out for the group, but it sure got him excited, well, like all teaching opportunities did for that matter.

"Oh, and for the silver shark boy dere, it appears he was already familiar with de concept of chakra molding, so he took the extra time to work on ninjutsu..." the wodden sensei answered to Andou's second question, voluntarily staying fairly vague. "He just went a bit too hard and too fast, so his chakra system went in power saving mode until it recovered.". Mokujin still didn't know Andou very well, but when a 13 year old masters elemental jutsus only high chuunins are usually capable of acquiring, special ops are usually going to come knocking pretty fast. He didn't know if Andou would file some sort of report and no way was he going to give up on one of his only three students so fast! "I don't know where the files for de students are dough, I tink I might have left dem in the village tavern... or maybe de offices upstairs... well, I'm not sure, we'll look for dem afterwards.", he added, obviously lying.

"Everyone get ready, we're taking on perimeter patrol duties for de day so hurry up and report to the shoreline", Mokujin loudly ordered. "And someone wake up or carry our pointy teeted friend here, fainting's not an excuse to stop training", he concluded.

When he didn't get any response or approval of his accomplishment when finishing the task of molding chakra, he became a little grumpy but hid it underneath a troubleless smile.
Soon enough, after an unknown ninja had walked into the room and a bit of talking accured - he was given a task to wake up Hiru. He moved casually across the floor to his fellow student, bent down and gave him a few light slaps on his left cheek. "Hiru-san, wake up. We are given another task" his voice was concerned and with a touch of excitment.

"Hm," Andou replied, unimpressed. Mokujin was clearly lying about Hiru... AND the files. Was he afraid that Andou would steal his students? Well Andou understood that feeling - he'd had it himself once. But Andou was hardly Mistress and never would have the intention of corrupting them. Well. He would never have the intention, but I guess it didn't mean that he wouldn't. "Yes, we will." Hey, Andou had time to burn and never wanted to set foot into that council building ever again. Sooner or later they were gonna throw him out to the dogs anyway. Andou knew how these things worked and he knew who he it was that he was crossing just by being there. And he would have to ask Mokujin about Hiru. He really didn't appreciate being lied to.

Now that the conversation with Mokujin was as good as over, Andou looked at the students again. Just because he didn't have the files didn't mean he couldn't start compiling information. Masanori especially caught his eye. He couldn't remember where he'd seen him before. Maybe it was just something innocent like passing him in the supermarket or something. Or maybe... oh good lord, this was the boy that had been kissing the ground earlier and playing with rats.

Hiru slowly came to as he felt contact across his face. As he slowly opened his eyes he saw that nice and motivating blonde kid form the mission earlier. "Hey... Masanori... what's going on?", he answered, as his brain was slowly assimilating what his friend had already told him. The shark boy was still a bit sore from his earlier training, but his time unconscious seemed to have enabled him to recover most of his chakra. Still, it didn't remove the burn from overuse but he was still ready to go.

As he stood up, Hiru made a quick survey of the room. It appeared he had been carried inside the academy and that some of his fellow students were done or fairly advanced in their chakra molding exercies. As he looked around, he finally saw him... Mean-sensei had apparently returned.

((For those who are not familiar with the story between Andou and Hiru, Andou was Hiru's first field exercise sensei and had driven him extremely hard during his first day. He had actually even went as far as giving him a form of poison during an exercise that made him itch for hours and hours, making all of his trainings hell. That is when Hiru gave Andou the title "Mean-sensei", that he still carries to this day))

When Hiru saw his former sensei he gave him a strong glare and and paused for a few seconds, wondering what he was up to this time...

"Let's go Masanori!" Hiru said, his tone switching to a more cheerful one as he adressed his friend.

Immediately after Hiru left for the shoreline, always keeping an eye on the blonde chuunin...

Masanori noticed tha hatred between Hiru and the unknown ninja-guy, but didn't care much. He would probably find out about it sooner or later. He stood up a together with Hiru and walked away with him side by side. Thinking of what mission this was actually going to be. "Hrm.. I would if I get to learn any genjutsu.. Would be great!" his thoughts continued to spire off into wishfull thinking.

Andou met Hiru's gaze unflinchingly. Gee, that boy really knew how to carry a grudge. A totally unjustified one at that. It had only been an itching agent after all and Andou was sure that the boy was now more careful with whatever he was offered. Well, he should be. If he wasn't, it was Andou's turn to be annoyed at him. It's not like there was any lasting damage...

He watched as rubbish boy (too bad Andou didn't know his name apart from his first, and he'd never call a student by their first name, so this was the only association he had with him for now and it was growing stronger) followed Hiru out, and watched the lone kid still working on his chakra control.

"Come on, kid," he said. "You can work on that later. As a shinobi duty comes first and everything comes later." And with that Andou followed the group. Perimeter duty, eh? It should be interesting. And he'd be able to find out more about ther new group of students.

Shinzu Akara was excited he was finally at the academy! He stood at the gates took a deep breath and walked in going to the desk in the fron to find out where to go. The Chuunin there told him to head to the dojo, that was where most of his class was. As he walked in he marveled at all the students training and practacing thier jutsu. "I think I'm going to like it here." he said as he put his stuff down on the floor. "I wonder who's my tracher?"

Mokujin walked into the empty room and wondered fpr a while why no one had reported to the room prepared for the genin exams. Waiting for someone to show up, he heard a new student walk into one of the classes adjacent to the examination room.

"Why hello dere mon petit. I tink you reported a bit early to class for the semester, you'll probably have a lot of catching up to do alone before you can join the others.", Mokujin said with a smile, trying to both comfort and motivate his new student. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a copy of "Hand Seals 101" that he always kept with him for situations just like this one. "Here you go garçon, start by clearing this first exercise and come and get me once you're finished."

With the satisfaction of a job well done Mokujin went back to his examination room and opened a window. Taking a few moments of contemplation he gazed upon the yard where he hoped his students had spent some time over the weekend to get ready. A second later he gathered as much into his lungs as he possibly could and yelled:

"EXAMS ARE STARTING, ANYONE WHO DOESN'T REPORT TO THE EXAMINATION IN THE NEXT MINUTES WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEMESTER TO GRADUATE!"

Having a feeling his message would reach the students somehow, he closed the window and sat down, waiting for them to get to him pronto.

Hiru rushed in from the shoreline, still visibly tired form his latest jutsu training.

"I'M HERE! I'm here..." he said catching his breath. Taking a few moments to look around he finally asked Mokujin-sensei: "Eeeh... where is everyone?"

Since Masanori hadn't jogged as far as Hiru, his breath was in a fairly decent pace. He enterd the classroom with a big sigh, hunching himself over his knees while supporting his weight with his arms. "Here.. Mokujin-sensei.." he said in the pauses of his decently heavy breathing. He stood up and went to the nearest wall to have something to lean on. "Hmm.. I am missing one jutsu.. Maybe I can make up for it somehow" he scratched his smooth chin for ideas, but nothing came to him this few minutes of peace.

Shinzu took the copy from the teacher and went off to a corner of the room to practice his hand seals. He'd never done any before and was, once again, excited. He performed the hand seals hoping it would at least work a little. 'C'mon. C'mon.' He said them and went through the signs "C'mon work!"

Shinzu jumped in the air several times dancing and such not only had it worked it had worked perfectly. "Alright time to try again." he told himself before preparing himself again. 'I hope it works again this time. This isn't that hard I could probaly do this all day. Heck at this rate I could become the Mizukage soon!'

Shinzu sighed and looked down on the ground. "Well that didn't work like I thought it would. No matter, time to get back on the boat and keep going!" 'I'm not going to let the memory of my father down because of some hand seals.' Shinzu got ready once again looking at the book he'd been given on the hand seals checking how each one was supposed to go. "Ok here it goes."
