youngshorty She laughed and kissed his cheek again and lightly tugged on his hair, teasing. "Not a gray hair in sight..."
She slid into a seat next to him and stared at the loaf of bread on the counter. A moment of nibbling her lip and the next she was up and making herself some toast and adding jam to it and nibbling at it.
So the cravings began... Drake playfully yelped and rubbed his hair, but he smiled at her. When she finally got and went for food he told her, "My mate had some funny cravings when she was pregnant, at any time day or night. Give Ra half a chance and I know my youngest son will pamper you, even without an excuse." His son probably already was, both of them actually. Isis was more of the ‘pamper me’ type more then the type to pamper.Ra came in and teased his father, "Hello, old man." His father's reaction, then glare was enough to make him laugh. Taking a seat near his wife and father, he watched her get food, ready in an instant to do what ever she needed.

"What kind of cravings did she use to get?"
She asked, nibbling more at the toast. Some insight to what her mother-in-law wwas like gave her a small clue to what to expect with this baby...afterall, it had daddy's blood in it too.

Raven simply continued humming and would wait for her to finish before they would leave the bathroom...
A thought occured to Arioch then. One that hadn't before. He looked to Joe with a blank face.
"Now you really can't walk out again...on either of them. Raven doesn't remember ever being pregnant so she can't help Alex in that."

He almost asked what cravings didn't she get, but he didn't, instead he told her, "It was strange for sure, a lot of the foods she loved, she either didn't want, or wanted in qualities I wasn't sure was healthy. The foods she used to hate became things she'd ask for frequently. I hate to tell you this, but one of the things that come with pregnancy is something called morning sickness, causes nausea and sometimes sickness, it is miss named. On the positive the symptoms stopped the further along she got in her pregnancy." His mate gave birth to three beautiful children; he most expected a multiple birth from her as well.
"I have Ra and Isis's things, blankets, cribs, bassinettes; you are welcome to use them both." His son suddenly showed that he understood, as he paled a bit. Children are daunting, the idea of being a first time father to more then one was down right terrifying. However, just because multiple births are on Ra's side, it doesn't mean that Sky will. The possibility was scary enough by the look of his son.

She finished her toast as she thought a bit and smiled. The idea of using Daddy and Aunt Isis' old things sounded nice. She wouldn't discover how many she carried until much further into the pregnancy she was sure...
For now she simply enjoyed the flat stomach she had until it rounded with the baby...
She wasn't thrilled about being sick but if it was normal she supposed she could handle it.
"So the doc was warning us about...I haven't felt naustious yet. Just very restless and like everything's on fire..."

youngshorty For no reason at all, or for reasons left unsaid, tears formed in Alex's eyes as she snuggled closer to mother and dragon, her grasp on them tightening for a moment.
Raven simply continued humming and would wait for her to finish before they would leave the bathroom...
A thought occured to Arioch then. One that hadn't before. He looked to Joe with a blank face.
"Now you really can't walk out again...on either of them. Raven doesn't remember ever being pregnant so she can't help Alex in that." His eyes were filled with concern as he looked at her. She seemed scared of something she didn't need to be scared of.
"Mistress, being with child is a wonderful thing"
To him, children were miracles and it didn't matter who the father was, he was certain she'd be the best mother to the child. The look he threw Arioch was far from blank. He had had his reasons for wanting to leave and whilst the pregnancy of his daughter would be a good enough reason to stay, having returned her mother to her was his ticket to being able to leave after all.
"I don't remember being pregnant either"
He pointed out. He remembered Raven going through it, but not for one moment did he think she'd have forgotten even that, figuring it was just waiting in her subconscience to be called upon when needed. A though that was not unlike that which had caused him to leave the first time around.

Alexis shook her head.
"It's not that..." she whispered in between sniffles. She was simply scared and frustrated from the news of the day. Other reasons came into play that she couldn't identify.
Arioch blinked at him and sighed.
"Let me rephrase that then...You remember watching what Raven went through."

"then what, Mistress?"
He asked softly, staying close.
"you found your mother finally, should that not make you happy?"
He enquired. Not only had she found her mother, but her mother was here with her and cared for her.

She wasn't sure what it was that was bothering her, thus couldn't really say. All she could do was simply lay there in their touch and try to get her tears under control.
"I don't know why I'm like this..."

All that while, Song remained silent once more. She was still angry, but decided that she had said enough. Hearing his words only frustrated her all the more. She couldn't stay there without saying something again.
With a sigh, she shifted herself out of Arioch's grasp and rose, walking outside as she shook her head, hands clenched tightly as she fought the anger down. Once outside, she sat upon the ground and took deep breaths, hoping she could dispell it. Never had she felt so enraged at anyone or anything before. It took all of her will not to hit something, and she was never quite the violent type.
She shut her eyes as she hoped she could meditate this out of her......she hated this feeling. Anger did not become her.

"Yeah.. I do.."
He started to get suspicous then, before sighing.
"Tell me she's at least got some memory of that left.. "
For one moment showing the heartace he experienced because of what she had lost

Arioch blinked as Song left and looked back to Joe. He shrugged.
"I wouldn't know. Perhaps she does but it's never conscious like you and I do remember."

The moment passed and by the time Arioch replied, he looked impassive again.
"Not like I can change it anyway.. you might wanna go deal with Song though, she doesn't seem real happy"
He had an idea of why Song walked out on him, the fact was, he hid what really went on inside him under layers of not caring simply because it was the only way he could survive, the only way he could deal with what had happened.

Arioch nodded and walked out to meet Song outside.
"Song..." He said it softly, keeping some distance just in case. Hot tempered women he could deal with...Women who constantly surprised him? He was tip toeing about.
Alexis sniffled her last sniffle and whiped her tears away. She stood up and ran some cold water, splashing a bit on her face to cool it down. She held the back of her hand to her lips.
When she thought her stomach would finally settle, she looked back and smiled. "Think we should return?"
Raven looked at her from her place on the floor. "We have a lot to deal with you know..."
Alex nodded. "Yea.....wouldn't be the first time would it?"
"Nope..."

During the time she had until Arioch had appeared, Song managed to calm her anger down to merely the frustrated level. During her meditation, she couldn't stop when a few tears ran down her face, such was the side effect of fighting ones self. In all of her days, she had seen many things.....and some things she never wished she had seen.
"I'm sorry," She said softly, looking over her shoulder at Arioch, her amythist eyes missing the fire that had been there during her prior bashing, "I couldn't stay silent. I know that I don't know him as you do, but what I do know is that I can't stand seeing people run. I know I may be missing something, but for all of his turmoil and suffering, it still can't stop the child inside of him from wanting to run away."
Song sighed heavily and brought her gaze down to the ground, her head shaking a bit.
"I'm sorry........I know, this doesn't involve me. Perhaps I should leave so I don't step over my boundaries again."

A smile played across his lips as she got upp. It was good to see his Mistress fighting the sickness that had overcome her. Her and Raven's words puzzled him. What family was this that they had to deal with things like this before? He pondered the question only for a moment longer before he spoke, addressing both of them.
"Ma'am, my Mistress has been searching for hints to who her mother is for some time, should you not both be happy to have found the answer?"
To him, the problem seemed a lot simpler than to the two women, but then, in his world mothers might loose their children, but they didn't completly forget having been with child.
