Soleq Went to Macworld today. Saw the new iPhone. Looks pretty bad a**. Yeah, I was just about to say something about it. The iPhone is like the greatest thing since sliced bread in Technology right now.
I just wonder what's going to happen to the screen when it's in your pocket, keep touching it, and/or drop it. I kind of want to get one.
Apple's already in a lawsuit too over the name iPhone. Ridiculous.

I imagine if you're smart and use some sort of case (even a slip-in case like my Axim), you'll extend the life of the screen tenfold. Of course, I also saw a synthetic screen protector that flat-out rocked. I took my keys to an iPod that had one and couldn't even begin to scratch it.
Too bad I'm on Verizon. It'll cost an arm and a leg for me to break my contract. Time to buy Cingular stock. Buy Apple in Feb or March when the price comes down a bit.
And the name issue will be resolved soon enough. On an interesting side note, at one of the presentations on Wednesday the presenter accidentally referred to the device as the "iPod Communi... I mean iPhone." Seems like it was definitely a different name at one point in time.

I care not for this phone.
Then again, I care not for most phones. I really don't like the chocolate thing.
I got in trouble with my school the other day. My boyfriend came to pick me up from school, and I greeted him with a calm hug, and apparently hugging is against the rules. Hugging non students or something. I don't know, it was annoying and stupid.

I agree... That's stupid Sena. What the hell kind of rule is that?
I had, what my friend thinks was an anxiety attack, while I was at the gym last night. It was really scary. I got tunnel vision, and then I blacked out for a minute, then my heart went insane and I started having heart palpatations, and shooting pains through my heart and back. The shooting pains are nothing new, I dealt with them a lot as a child, but yeah... It was scary. I was even doing anything that was working me insanely. I sat crouched outside trying to calm myself down, cause I knew that my freaking out was helping matters. At the same time I was having this attack, the volleyball team finished practicing, and I have a fair amount of friends on the team. So two of them sat with me until I had calmed down enough to stand up, and then they got me to stretch it out. They also decided that I hadn't eaten enough, that day, to be exercising. (And these are RFW boys, who go on like seven hour treks up the moutain and then play volleyball for two hours... What I eat in a day isn't a meal for rthem.) So one of them made me a protein shake, and gave me a massive lecture on proper eating habits. Good times. I'm still sore today, so I'm taking the day off of the gym.

I would suggest Apples with their magsafe cords. I've known several friends who have destroyed their screens by tripping over the cords lying on the ground. I almost did it, but thankfully I have super cat-like reflexes and randomly had a pillow on the ground.
There are also 3rd party adapters that do cost a bit, but they're far less expensive as a new laptop.

Yeah, I've heard of those magsafe cords. 3nodding I'm considering an Apple, but they seem expensive. I can only spend the money I get from my warranty for my broken laptop. gonk 3rd party adapters? sweatdrop

Yeah, it will. Everyone knows Apple always has the i in the starting.

The baseline Macbook is about a grand, and dollar for dollar will offer you a better built machine than any other manufacturer. Besides my old iBook, I've never had a real hardware problem with any of the 17 Apple computers that I've owned. Here's a interesting link. It's to B&H's Macworld specials page, where you can essentially get the educator's discount on most new machines, and if you don't live in New York, you don't have to pay sales tax. That's the best deal I've ever seen on Apple machines. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/mw07Only lasts until Jan. 23rd I believe.

At this point I'm pretty frustrated with all of the Windows computers..but at the same time I'm not so sure about a Mac either since I don't have much experience with them. I've used them in the Art Lab at college and I didn't have too much trouble using them, and I'm a bit of an artsy person and I've heard they're good for people who prefer graphics. So I might have to give one a try. 3nodding For the warranty on my laptop I'm getting about 799$ back, not including for the power cord we ordered, so we should get a little more. >: Blah, this laptop only lasted a year and a half and it annoys me. I've got it to turn on again, but it seems like it's nearly dead and there's something wrong with the motherboard. It keeps over-heating and it won't even let me burn some of my stuff on CD's. gonk Sorry for rambling. emo

I was just playing tennis in my room. Yeah... That's right. Tennis in my room. For four hours... And I had my music blasting. It was awesome. I knocked down two backpacks, five pairs of sunglasses, two purses, my keys. I almost put the ball through the screen, and damn near busted my lava lamp. I DID bust my desk lamp however... Good times! The RA on duty didn't say anything to me either. It's awesome!
