Well I just got back from Trivia Contest held at my Local Comic shot "the Rogues Gallery" it was a lot of fun even though i didn't get pass the first round. How it was set up me and 11 other contestants (there where going to be 15, but 3 didn't show) The Shop runners would pick 4 catagories each with 5 question before placeing a new on up. they would draw out name from a box one at a time, we pick out catagory, and then get a multiple chose question. if we get 5 right, we move on to the next round, if we miss 3 we are removed. there would be 2 rounds and once 3 are left, they move to the lighting round. the question them self are just over DC or Marvel comics (no movies or shows) and range from super easy "who is the human torch?" to really hard like "witch is not a green lantern villian?" it all about if you knew it or not.
first place got 50.00 gift card to the shop
2nd 25.00
3rd 15.00
plus anyone (both contestants and audiance) got to pick up some free goodies.
