I just like having a profile, thats not bad and its not like its needed. made it flashy because of how long i've wanted to use that damn background. You don't like my profile den? >>; did you look at it?

Nya. I looked at it... Jupp... All those petals were quite annoying though... =@~@=
Moving .gif-backgrounds tends to be a bit irritating, when trying to read the content of a website... that's why we prefer simple profiles without much kinky stuff... And... The FONT has to be READABLE!
Ow~ Nothing worse than some pseudo-goths thinking they're oh-so-gothic by using these unreadable fonts... =~=;
Or unmatching colors... >___O
If you're getting a headache from looking at the page as whole... No visitor will stay longer than half a minute... @~@ ~ Some people just don't WANT to understand that... Even since this is absolute basic knowledge when creating a webpage...
*sigh*
...I've stumbled over so many aweful Gaia-Profiles... talk2hand
...nah... not good...

I'm not sure what your seeing zesubo. On my computer the words are surrounded by a creme background and at the sides of the creme background is the petals, allowing an annoying background as you call it but it also allowed it to be very readable. Is your computer showing it different? Also red, dark grey, and creme are matching colors. Also I used the defult font, size, and color so unless i make it large bold letters It probibly can't get much easyer, or just putting it in plain black.

Once again I wasn't talking only about you, dearest...
I was talking about profiles in general... Here on Gaia. Many users got so... Well... One can only say 'OMG! WTF is THAT?!?'
The only thing that disturbes on your page are the petals... oô ~ Moving BGs in general tend to irritate and since I personally use a quite huge monitor with relative large setting [needed for drawing on the pc... otherwhise i wouldn't see enough to work properly...] there's PLENTY of space around the content of the profile making the BG-gif repeat itself just a bit too often...

Sorry I accually used it mainly because I saw it on websites so often before. First time I found it I took the first chance I could get to use it. Sorry I keep misinterpreting what your saying zetsubo!>< I didn't notice many other people on gaia liked profiles on their signatures, do they really?

though there's so many SO awful thingies around... and if not those... Well... Therer's WAY enough unreadable weblogs on the web...
