Beverly wandered past the garden gates, moving a hand up to her hair to brush it gently out of her face, her deep pink eyes shining as she looked to the small poppy garden, her lips curving into a smile as she saw the beautiful orange flowers.

((Dunno if you had seen or not but I posted Desi a little bit back~))
As she played, Desiree tuned out everything else around her. She still felt the light breeze against her skin but any other noises weren't heard. Her song was soft, almost romantic, as the water in the fountain behind her began to slow. She was using her small amount of magic again without realizing it.

"Scary? Him?" Disbelief showed in his eyes as he stared at her, mouth agape. When she reached out to touch the small creature he smiled, holding it out to her.
"Would you like to hold him?"

Kayne burst out laughing, rolling his eyes at her comment.
"Yes, he could turn into a deranged killing machine at any time," he cackled as he gently transferred the snake into her open hand.

Ame giggle and held the snake in her hand, looking at it with a grin. "He could! Don't let the inocence fool you."

Trying to keep a straight face, Kayne nodded solemnly, his eyes twinkling with merriment. "Absolutely! He could almost get his jaws around your finger."

Tanaka ventured through the gardens, his brightly colored clothes standing out some against the lush greens and pale pinks of the area he was in. He looked around to make sure noone else was around before making himself comfortable beneath a tree, exhaling a soft sigh before removing his hat, carefully placing it in his lap as he silently evaluated the place he'd found himself in.

"And what a terror that would be! I could get like, the reptilian flu!" Ame giggled. "Or rabies! Then again, the little guy isn't foaming at the mouth, and can repitlies get rabies? I can't remember if it was just a mamall thing or not...oh my, I'll have to look it up when I get home!" Ame grinned.

"No danger of that," Kayne chuckled. "Reptilian flu is out of season right now." Stroking the tiny head, he smiled at her. "We should put him back now, let him go home."

"Oh thank goodnes!" Ame grinned and went over to where Kayne had gotten the snake, resting her hands on the ground so it could slither away. "I was worried for a moment. Can you imagine? Reptilian flu outbreak! How horrid!" She laughed as she lifted her hands back up, brushing them off on her skirt.

Kayne grinned, taking one of her hands in his, his thumb stroking lightly across her wrist. "That would be horrible," he laughed. "This lovely skin marred by scales?" Winking, he gave a mock shudder, releasing her hand.

Ame blushed slightly, then laid a hand dramatically over her forehead. "I would faint, I'm sure. Oh horrid fate, may you never befall me!" She tried to sound serious, but failed, laughing a little. "And what about you? It would be a shame if you grew scales!" She poked his cheek, grinning.
