*Kaiori eyes him, she had never been asked to ‘touch’ jewelry before. She slowly brushes her fingers over the gems, not resting on them, for fear of some kind of burning pain. Her eyes evidently widen and she snaps her hand back. Her small flush had turned into a full fledged blush and her fangs were barred which had been covered before behind her closed lips. Her retracted hand strokes the nape of her neck in hopes of calming her nerves and her racing blood. Finally she speaks her voice a little rougher than before.* Very funny. *That hadn’t been at all expected and so she was not at all prepared. Just like a girl expecting to be slapped but is instead kissed, even kaiori seemed to have few words at the moment.*

A deep, rich, chuckle burst from Tegral's throat, "Hahaha! I thought it was, hahaha!" Laying the gems at Kai's feet he returned to his own pillow and lounged lazily. "Something to wear, next time your darling husband comes around." What Apollo would say about Kaiori wearing unfamiliar jewelry would likely be something vicious, but the shock effect was all the same and the look on her face was priceless. Laughter still lingered in the good Admiral's voice as he spoke again.
"So tell me, Kai, how's the new body treating you? I trust there's nothing wrong?" Slipping his hand into his back pocket Tegral withdrew a small electronic pad device, an even smaller probe styled hand held detachable, and began pushing buttons. "If you don't mind I'd like to run your vitals really quick, make sure the neural waves are taking too the new hardware."

*Kaiori glowers, her eyes glowing angrily. She gently prods the gems with her toes, pretty sure she was afraid to actually pick them up. Looking up at Teg she slowly stops the roar of blood in her ears although her breathing remains uneven.* The body is fine Teg…. I’d rather..... you…. Never mind…go ahead... scan away.... *She sighs and continues to fiddle with her hair, calming herself down. She didn’t exactly want Teg scanning her body while she was all…strange.... from that bloody necklace. Hoping her vitals wouldn’t betray her she sits calmly, her eyes mostly on the ground only lifting once and awhile to look at his face.*

With or without her permission he was going to run the scans, in fact he'd been running them since he'd entered the house. The reason? Simple, Tegral had never recrafted a body like her's, so it only stood to reason he'd take an interest in it. "Well the body and the mind seem to be syncing up nicely." He intoned in a voice a doctor would have envied, "But it looks like you have a slight abnormality here in your connecting relays. Something, likely a neural wave distortion, before the actual transference is the most probably cause." Tegral was referring to MPD, Multiple Personality Disorder. If Kaiori had another conscious in her head it could explain why such readings were occurring. If she was free of such mental problems then the stress of being killed and revived in such a manner, not to mention physical strain of every day life - only special op soldiers had these problems, but living in the BC Tegral could understand why such issues may arise. "Nothing to worry about though, it'll resync up with the rest in a matter of a couple of days. You may experience a slight depression, an abnormal sexual desire, insomnia, and, or, increased fatigue."
Tegral was intentionally keeping his face calm and collected, despite the fact he wanted to burst out laughting. He'd intentionally left out the fact her heart race was pretty much identical to a Catholic school girl's in a room full of men, and if that wasn't enough proof she was as bashful as a virgin - something Tegral was certain she wasn't...besides, he wasn't a fan of the innocent types.

Well that sounds… manageable.. *Kaiori rolls back on the cushion, arching her back and twisting out her arms. Her eyes flutter shut for moment before she crawls to her feet and disappears behind a silk curtain. A moment later she returns with an unmarked bottle of wine and two glasses. She pops the cork out with her fang and pours a little more than the average person would need in both glasses. She then crawls back on her cushion and begins to sip her drink.* You don’t have to drink it if you don’t like it, I on the other hand enjoy getting rather intoxicated. *She raises her glass to him and sips again. Perhaps it was the red color or maybe not, whatever it was she found great pleasure in drinking red wine.*

Setting his scanning device aside, it's biometric scanners still running over Kaiori's body, Tegral took the second of the two glasses and raised it in salute, "Oh I don't mind a good glass of wine every now and then." Touching the rim of the glass to his lips he let a fair amount of the intoxicating liquid pass over his tongue, billions upon trillions of pico-machines - devices so small they can actually be built to be placed inside nano-machines - found in the molecular compound of Tegral's saliva began the arduous task of breaking down the liquid and rebuilding it. The reason for this being, of course, if any poisonous - by lethality standards - substances were found the bots would take care of it. In other words Tegral was immune to poison and disease, even in his 'human' form.
"Heh, if I would have known you would have liked something to drink I would have brought something from my own collection. A Winter's Wine, perhaps, it tastes a little like mint to some people." Swirling the deep red liquid around in his glass Tegral glanced up at Kaiori, debating whether or not he wanted to tell her about the 'kill' gem on the back clasp of the necklace. Oh a fearsome name for a gem, but in all actuality all it did was kill the radiation waves that effected the body, but only if it was placed against the spine. A stone in the right place would prevent the Star Gem from producing the strange sensation of desire and joy, which was why this piece of jewelry had two clasps. One with the kill stone, which allowed it to dangle looser around the throat like an actual necklace, and the other which prevented the stone from touching the back of the spine and transformed the gemmed item into a chocker, in which all five of the sizable gems pressed against the flesh in a fashion to produce over lapping wave zones.
"If you don't mind me asking, Kaiori: With the exception of the misunderstanding before why don't you trust me?"

*Kaiori cradles her wine glass, regarding it carefully. Teg would find no poison in his glass, since Kaiori wasn’t up for her usual tricks tonight.* I guess, I don’t trust most people, men in particular. You seem too male..if that makes sense. *She shrugs tipping back her glass. She didn’t really trust KB even, with his constant tests. She had never been given a reason to trust anyone; even her husband had tried to kill her. She wasn’t very melodramatic about it, just accepted it, it was nothing to be sad over, and who would miss trust?*

A bark of laughter escaped before Tegral could contain himself. Too male? The notion was absurd, and he voiced his opinion. "Too male? Hahaha! Well if that's reason to mistrust me, then by all means you can hate my guts. Hahaha!" Draining a whole half his glass in a single swallow Tegral took a moment to savor the wine's taste on his tongue before letting it slide down his pallet. "Oh, haha, dear Kaiori, most women adore my 'maleness'. Heh, so you don't trust me because I have a p***s, is what it boils down too?"
Shaking his head, truly the woman was amusing if nothing else, Tegral tried to find a way to gain some grounds with her. It was hard, simply because of her innate mistrust of all things male, but part of him was sure he might chisel away some of the stone ice surrounding her heart and gain an ounce of trust. If all else failed Tegral could chuck this up to a simply entertaining day. Kaiori was fun, even if she was walking on pins and needles from the visit, and the Admiral was actually enjoying himself.

*Kaiori roles her eyes and finishes her glass. She reaches over for a refill while staying seated, causing her shirt to slip off her shoulder again.* I have no objections to your p***s. *She yawns sipping her newly filled cup and fingering a button on her shirt. She didn’t have a problem with men, just the whole trust thing. She wasn’t about to become a lesbian just because a couple of jackass guys had messed with her perceptions.*

Tegral was glad of Kaiori's determination of sexuality...after all if she broke and did become a lesbian it'd be that much harder for Tegral to score with her! "Haha, no objections eh? Well, it's a start, I suppose. Maybe with time you'll have more compliments than, 'no objections', to say about it. Hahahaha!" Tilting the glass back he took another small sip of the wine, enjoying himself immensely.
Rookin sent a message, via encrypted command channel, and the Admiral took a moment to look it over before designating it a lower class priority than what the Commander had deemed, and returned to his present company. "I don't make you nervous, do I? Your Highness?" Was that a mocking tone, or did the Admiral just acknowledge Kaiori's royal blood line? It was hard to tell with him, especially outside his cybernetic form - kinda flip flopped don't you think - his whole persona seemed to shift now that he was of the blood and flesh.

*Kaiori taps a finger on her lips, thinking.* I don’t think nervous is the word. *She smirks baring her fangs.* aren’t you at least a little unnerved by my choice of nourishment? *She purrs taking another healthy gulp of alcohol.*

"Oh not in the least." Tegral states rather bluntly as he finishes off his own glass and sets it in front of him. "Being associated with KB allowed me time to get well acquainted with the 'darker' side of the universe. A good portion of his infantry division comprises of cyberneticly enhanced vampires anyways. Besides, and not to try and put a downer on a lovely turn of conversation, I'm certain if you tried to feed from me you'd be lethally regretful." The Admiral had little fear of Kaiori, even in human flesh he was half certain he could out right kill the woman without the aid of the hidden force of soldiers hunkered down just a little ways outside. "And, as I said before, if you'd like I can get rid of that particular need. It's just a little genetic manipulation."

*Kaiori rolls her eyes and shifts so she is leaning back against the foot of the couch.* Like I would ever want to be human again. Besides, this way of life isn’t half bad. *She mutters into her glass as she slowly takes another sip. She liked this, talking normally, for once. A normal person would not call this conversation average but for Kaiori this was perfect, something calm, for once. She relaxes from her shoulders to her toes, feeling more at ease by the minute.*

"Well I never said anything about making you human. The fact is any time you switch bodies it would have to be cloned from the genetic structure given, so if you wanted a body with larger breast, longer legs, and a different, natural, hair color then all it would take is a little p***k, some data rewrites, and vula! You're a new Kaiori on the surface level, but still the same gal underneath it all. What I was talking about was ridding you of that nasty need for blood." Uncrossing his legs Tegral shifted so he was no longer sitting on the cushion, instead arranging himself so that he was laying on the floor with the cushion under his elbow that he lay propped up on.
A thought occurred to him, one that he hadn't harbored in a long, long, time. He liked this, sitting around, drinking wine, and chatting with a woman. He hadn't done something like that, not without any malicious intent behind it, in a long time. It was a nice and peaceful place, the wine was decent by planetary standards, and the company wasn't half bad - definitely a beautiful woman with a wit as dangerous as her guns - either. His mind shifted back to a business frame, if he did use the Silent Forest as a staging ground for his reactor it may potentially put the place at risk. After all the other two reactors are likely to be significantly better guarded, and if KB had any hopes of dismantling the Admiral's soon-to-be surface to orbit weapon he would first need to shut down the power by destroying at least one of the reactors. That would cut enough power to ensure that even if the Admiral did fire it the likely hood of it possessing enough power of destroying the Cradle outright was so slim it was nearly a mathematic impossibility. Faced with that reality which of the three reactors was the megalomaniac likely to go after? Why the easiest one of course, the one located in the nearly undefended Silent Forest.
"I'll make you a new deal," Tegral chimed in rather bluntly. "I'll find a new location to build my reactor, spare your forest the hassle of your son's construction crew under a couple of conditions." If Tegral hadn't missed his guess then Kaiori was likely to jump at any chance of sparing her forest unneeded damage so long as it didn't put her children at risk - which this most certainly would not.

* Kaiori’s eyes seem to flicker to life and she moves gracefully till she’s leaning over Teg slightly. Her bare feet felt rather cold on the floor but the comfortable rugs kept it from being unbearable.* Oh really? I would do anything for my forest. *She sounded totally honest, a certain hope in her voice for forest.*
