sabaku-okami The other thing is people always correcting you on everything. Can't they just be like ok, that they need to add their word to everything that you say? What do they expect me to say 'Oh you are right I submit you your knowledge and wisdom, Oh please enlighten me with your wisdom on how to correct everything a person says???' arrg debates are fine but can't we just play nice. This is a rehabilitation guild. It's designed to correct incorrect information. You posted some every inaccurate stuff. If you choose to be willfully ignorant, that's up to you- but we're not going to let it be perpetuated here.

I'm stuck with a scientist for a study partner and his you need to prove magic is a pain in the a**. The only use he has is his library of books. Its quite massive and they will be mine. Why should a person keep quiet when another appears to be espousing false information? This guild is a Rehabilitation center. As such, it is one that will challenge another's assumptions and most certainly will question claims. You view attempting to correct another as not playing nice? Why? It doesnt concern you what I mean nor is it your business. It's not false for one and two you just proved my point. Everyone has to comment on something that you say. You can not challenge and assumption, it is assumed which is wrong to begin with and two no one on this whole guild can prove or disprove magic, or any human ability. So It really doesn't matter if I was off by a letter or if you diagree with what I say. I'm here to talk to people and thats it.

Just as an observation sabaku, this is a discussion guild and the explicit purpose of which is to educate on responsible paganism. When you come in here and present yourself as an authority, you should have expected at least one person to call you on it and ask you to show us why you're an authority.
Practically everything anyone says in here gets questioned and commented on in some way - that's the point.
BTW, Aino simply asked for a clarification. It was an ambiguous statement, and there's no sense in being a jerk because someone was curious about something you said in public.

But that's the problem, you can demonstrate that you are a godhi with your knowledge of the Gods, the mythology, the texts involved, etc. I think that's what people are wanting; they want to know why you are an authority from within Norse religion. Yeah, this particular thread is a rant thread essentially. But sometimes, we like to comment and help people understand something they might be upset about, or talk them down from being upset. This place is a community, and there are definitely some here who are pretty tight-knit. smile

I'll be honest, sometimes the Canadian Goose is kinda nice looking... and then they honk. And that is annoying, especially when they do so during your practice LSAT sessions.
On the bright side, I won't have to put up with their honking next week well taking the LSAT on Pitt's campus (if you can really call buildings randomly sprawled across an urban area a campus).

I hadn't heard of a godi prior to today and, as such, am not qualified to speak on this subject. I wrote that peice, you can not prove anything just a good guess or some supporting facts show that. but it is not certian. FLUFFY!!!
