Hasta lifted Martha up and looked into her eyes, "he is my prince and the only creature other than myself whom i have ever loved. i'd never lay a finger upon him were it not asked for."

"and you'll not lay a finger upon his sister in laws either, Hasta," Tsume growled from the doorway, walking in. "put her down and apologize, you were in the wrong for not appearing where you were summoned."

Leo arrived there a little later, but he frowned at what he saw, "really, Hasta, they are just girls. put her down." he walked into the room and saw Hasta's eyes fall to his stomach, the orbs growing wider. "yes, the trees have gifted me with the rearing of children, but that is not the point...."


Hasta didn't put her down until he was ordered by Leo, but when he saw the man he couldn't help but stare. "you are with-" he glared at the kitty and in and instant was kneeling in front of leo, his hands on the boy's stomach, his ear against the bump, "or my poor, poor Leo! to be carrying this idiot's child...children," he corrected, hearing the two heart beats instead of one. "how can the world be so cruel? if you'd just take me as your second i could protect you from idiots like this!"

In the blink of an eye, Hasta was standing inches away from Kashi, looking into his eye. "ah, so you are the original, huh? interesting, most interesting. you've strong power tucked away inside, you shouldn't try and surpress it, little one. that'll only make it impossible to control them for the rest of your life." he returned to leo, hugging the boy from behind and holding onto him, glaring at the idiot prince, "of course i love the babies! they are of Leo now, i just resent you had any part in it whatsoever. the prince couldn't have stopped me from coming, original. no more than he can remove his own shadow, so there."

Tsume snorted, but Leo stopped his from saying anything, "enough. the both of you. Hasta, there has been an attack on Reta by Kasp. as you can imagine unpleasant eyes may be turned on us. we need you to warn our people and make sure to strengthen the borders. send every drow, elf, anything and everything we can do to make the barrier unbreakable."

Hasta rolled his eyes, "the realm of shadows don't work the same way yours do. i could go anywhere in the world in an instant if i wanted to, permission or not. there are no borders in my world. but that's not the point. My Leo's pregnant, there's a war brewing, and the people of Falia are worried." he sighed and released Leo moving around him and moving around to kneel at his feet. "you wish me to warn the people?"

Leo nodded, "yes, tell them to strengthen the borders. every able bodied warrior is to take up patrols. also ask the unicorn clans to make their decadal run around the borders early, we need the added protection of their magic. also-tell them i know how the Retans invaded our lands before. have the council members commune, tell the trees of the fire in the skies. Tell them they must shut down the borders, they cannot let anyone in whom they do not recognise. recall all those who are outside of the borders, we need to protect our people!"

Hasta shivered, looking up at Leo with a mixture of lust and admiration, "i love it when you talk like that." he stood and kissed Leo right on the lips, lingering for a second before dodging away, smirking at Elliot. "it shall be done, my love." he turned and disappeared into his own shadow, off to do as he had been ordered.

Leo blushed and looked at the others in the room, "sorry, that's just the way he is." he took Elliot's hand and sat back down, sighing softly. he was tired. the day had been too long and it was only noon.

Tsume looked behind him and smiled, "you don't need to hide, Kashi. he's gone for now, but he wouldn't dare hurt a friend of Leo's." he was ready to hit the demon himself for the way he was acting, but it would be useless.

Leo smiled up at Elliot, "i know i should, but i still haven't eatten properly. it doesn't matter if i'm tired, i shouldn't make the babies suffer." he lifted Elliot's hand to his lips and gently kissed the knuckles before picking up a roll and pulling off chucks to eat. he really didn't want to eat, but he knew he had to.

Tsume chuckled, "trust me, i want to rip that b*****d to shreds for touching Leo..." he showed Kashi his fist, clenched so tight that his knuckles were white and and shaking. "unfortunately, for the sake of the treaty with the demons i can't do that. but i think some cleaning just might help calm me down if you don't mind my joining you."

Leo blushed a little and looked down, "if i don't carry around food then i get really hungry and then i get dizzy and..." he flushed deeper, muttering the rest, "and there's two so i'm always hungry..."

Tsume was surprised that Kashi held his hand so forcefully, but he smiled and let it happen. he started to laugh at the idea of Ipo going after Hasta, "they'd probably join forces. Hasta likes his women too, though he swears the only person he'll ever love is Leo."

Leo smilred, happy since Elliot was happy. "bye everyone," he waved a little, finishing the roll and sighed, rubbing his stomach. "She was right, i'm huge! i don't think i've eaten this much in my life! put together!" he shook his head and slipped his fingers into Elliot's. "with everything going on...do you think we should continue to hide the babies from the outside world? if we let the people know, Reta's sure to find out. would it be safer for everyone to keep it quiet for now?"

Tsume smirked, "Or he'd convince them to have group sessions. Hasta can be very pleasing when he wants to be." the last comment made him laugh, "yes, well, Hasta has hated me for years because I am Leo's first and, so far, only familiar. most only have one, but someone as powerful as leo could easily host two or three if not more. however, Leo was taken from us when he was so young and now he's attached himself to Elliot. that on top of the fact that Hasta was gone the night of the attack and failed to protect Leo as he'd promised to, he's got a lot going on right now."

"Why hide it? show them the strength of the bond between the two countries." Hasta stepped up from Leo's shadow, forcing Elliot to move aside as he leaned over Leo, smirking at the prince. "it is done. the council has taken control and the unicorns are on their run as we speak."

Leo glanced at Elliot before looking straight up at Hasta, thee demon's face only inches from his own. "thank you for your hard work. now all that we need to do is wait. but you think we should announce it?"

Hasta made a face, "as much as i hate the fact that kitty over here got you pregnant and that he's the mate you've chosen, my love for you allows me to accept it dear sweet prince." he ran his fingers along Leo's collarbone, his smirk widening as LEo gasped softly, biting his lip, his eyes dilating as such a small stimulation began to arouse him. "so sensitive..." he leaned down ti nibble an ear, his eyes meeting Elliot's as Leo squirmed slightly in his chair.

"H-Hasta, enough," Leo whimpered, trying to push the demon off, but all of his pent up emotions and frustrations were turning into lust and he couldn't build up the strength to push him off.

Tsume wrinkled his nose at the smell of Ipo and sex, "disgusting." he put an arm around Kashi and walked away with him quickly, shaking his head. "damned slut's worse than a real rabbit. patrol?" he looked at KAshi and guessed he wanted to get away as quickly as possible. "that's fine. let's get ou something warmer to wear, though."
