[Cory .:. Angel Grove .:. City]
Cory landed on the ground next to John, Elleon having vanished beneath the earth. It didn't take long for Cory's priorities to change, now holding John in the air by his throat. "What the hell do you think you're doing? That was my fight, and you joined it without an invitation. The only thing keeping my Revblade out of your spine right now is the fact that I might need to use it at a moment's notice to defend."

[ Seymour : Angel Grove : Building Roof ]
"And so his colors show."
Seymour knew that, inevitably, Cory would turn on the group again- and he was, internally, all too pleased to find it had happened sooner rather than later. The Rogue Ronin had been forewarned; Alan, Kyle, and Axel had been there to witness it. He would pay the price, and Seymour would gladly do the honors.
However, there were more important things to attend to at the moment- the main such thing being the massive Titan that had formed a short distance away. Slowly, the dark earth eidolon was sinking the city- that just wouldn't do, no would it?
"Come, Anima."
At that point, the sky blackened considerably, leaving no trace of light; below them, the ground itself turned dark, as if overcome by a black veil. From the sky, a heavy chained anchor short forth and into the ground below, tightened, and began to ascend once more. From the depths, the anchor pulled out a twisted, demonic entity as tall as a four story building. It could be seen from the waist up, and around its abdomen were tight chains, constricting its body and cemented in the ground nearby, prohibiting movement. After its ascension, the skies and ground returned to their original colors.
The giant summon was facing the dark Titan, and its darkened eyes began to glow as it pulled its head back slightly; without warning, there was a loud chime, Anima's head recoiled, and one of Titan's elbows exploded with a powerful force.
Seymour, now able to turn his full attention to the rest of the battle, cast a single Thundaja spell, the powerful arc of lightning falling from the sky instantaneously and striking Cory with all its might. John, who was both an ally and resistant to Lightning damage, would barely feel a tickle through the connection with Cory.[[For a good idea of the summoning and the attack: click! Also, the bolded description is a picture link.]]

[ Kyle : The Caribbean Sea : The Challenger ]
"Well, where I come from, you have your share of infamous stories- the famous Captain Jack Sparrow of the Black Pearl, and whatnot," he began, leaning on the railing of the helm and looking around the ship nonchalantly. "And one of the rumors says you're looking to use Davy Jones' heart as a means of immortality."
"Now, I assume nothing of the sort," he continued, now looking upward toward the clouds as he shrugged his shoulders before looking back to Jack. "After all, they're just rumors. But a little known fact about the heart of Davy Jones... if you stab the heart, you do gain immortality... at the price of being the captain of the Dutchman for all eternity, bound to collect the souls of lost sailors, and only allowed to step foot on land one day every ten years."
"As I said, I dunno what your intentions are, but I felt an excellent Captain such as yourself should know the risks," he finished, shrugging once more and turning to look over the railing, his back now to Sparrow. "I'd hate for such rumors to be true and you not know the consequences."

[Cory .:. Angel Grove .:. City]
The summoning of Anima was enough to draw Cory's attention upward. He should have burst, but he didn't. He had plans that required Burst movement, and there was more than one way to continue combat after a Thundaja bolt.
The flash of lightning was all John would have seen as Cory pushed him away before the ronin was engulfed in electricity. The attack had gone as soon as it came, leave Cory smoldering in pain. He fell to one knee before looking up at Seymour, grinning from ear to ear. A psychotic expression briefly came over his face- one that said many things and nothing at the same time.
The expression vanished as Cory turned his attention back to John. "I hope you've been paying attention, hammer-man. I know you're from Earth yourself, and I have an inkling feeling in the back of my head that you've played Final Fantasy X before. This scene is rather familiar, isn't it? Conveniently placed enemies being snuffed out but an all-powerful and seemingly virtuous mage and his ridiculously overpowered summon, using the opportunity to improve his self-image. Top that with his lack of hesitation to attack me despite knowing full-well it would draw you into the blast. Even with an affinity to Thunder, an attack that would pretty much defeat me in one blast would be more than enough to threaten you in your wounded state." The ronin shakily got up to his feet, dismissing the Revblade to forgo the strain of carrying it.
"I know I'm not the only one who's seen it. He's not a good guy. He may be aiding you all right now, but his story and personality both dictate that he's probably even more of a threat to all living things than even the Replicas. At least my goals still involving everyone but the Replicas keeping their lives." Cory Resolved his legs, increasing their strength to keep him standing rather than falling back down as he said, "I'm not asking you to join me. But the longer you are the others trust that thing, the more you endanger both my goals and that of your group."

[Azrael: AG: Ravaged Streets]
The replica easily avoided the earth attack by floating up into an air current made by his summon, and thusly avoiding the quake created by Elleon's own summon. Interesting, I wasn't the only one...and what the hell is Satan Fish doing here? That f***ing Guado is here...? Was he the one that...dammit. F*** magic. I have enough to deal with, anyway.
Azrael smirked, staying aloft as his three fairies flew at the three people attacking him, a fairy a person, circling them at high speeds and flinging wind blades at them to slice them open.
"Hm...which one should I...best to stick to one target, I guess~" With this aloud musing, the male blurred by, and was suddenly above whereever the gunner white mage was, bo in his hand and swinging down repeatedly, hard and fast. If he could KO her, he wouldn't have to worry about being shot anymore. Well, shot by her, at least.
[Bal-Hur]
The gargoyle seemed unaffected by the quake, thanks to him having braced himself, but the shaking was distracting, requiring his focus to stay standing. And he was apparently getting another attacker after him.
So he lifted off his ground, massive wings beating, rising into the air and dodging the chakram, before swooping and gliding to the rangers and Axel, claws raised as he zoomed through the air, and as he got close enough, he clawed at them, spinning around like a twisted, clawed missile, a growl emminating from his throat.

{James : Caribbean Sea : The Challenger}
James had a strong feeling that the great majority of what he had said went over Anthony's head... not that he could blame him, it was a lot to absorb. He chuckled lightly at his question.
"Oh right, our clothes come from dress spheres. I used to have the bag that holds them, I think Sora does now though. So go talk to him and he'll get you one." He replied with a smile, "As for a place to lay down... you'd have to look below deck, unless you want to just lay down on the deck itself."
{Black Waltz : Angel Grove : City}
The Black Waltz hung in the air, it's wings flapping slowly as it looked around the chaotic battlefield. That was until the glyph appeared on the field and the chill filled the air. If the Waltz could shiver it would have as suddenly a column of ice erupted from the glyph catching the Waltz right in the blast. Since his element was fire, this was a devastating attack. When the ice shattered the Waltz nearly fell out of the sky...
"No... I refuse... to be defeated..." It said in it's whispery voice.
A portal opened behind it and he glided back into it right as Stitch came in for his attack as well as barely escaping Kichi's barrage and roar.
{Leon : Angel Grove : City}
Leon nodded his head in thanks as Amy said she was alright and then healed herself, him, and Kyle. The removal of his pain, a good thing. However, the battlefield had gotten more chaotic as now the summons were out, The large earth giant and the undead giant mummy. He almost lost his footing yet again as a massive quake shook the ground.
"Summons... they're huge..." He commented, his attention shifting just in time to see Azrael above them. "Watch out!"
He said as he yet again put himself in the path of the white mage. His gunblade raised to block as many of Azrael's strikes as he could. While trying to counter with a few of his own. All the while getting sliced up by the tiny blades of wind that the Sylph was sending at him as it flew around too fast to strike at.

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : The Challenger]
"Naw, I got it," Dawn said raising her hand at Noelle.
She almost succeeded with standing. But ended up back into the box, breaking it more to the point her legs we in now in the air. The Dancer flailed unable to do much else.
"I take that back, kelp!" she shouted.

[John.:Angel Grove:.City]
John looked to Cory sorrowfully. Earlier, John had been talking to Amy about Seymour's character and knew just as well as everyone else that the man was both a curse and a blessing. Sure, the ice attack was ridiculously powerful and helpful, but Cory had been a key component in getting rid of Noelle... and now Cory was in a state of massive pain all at the hands of the Maester...
"Aww hell no... what the f***!" John spurted as he looked to Seymour many yards away.
John knew it would get him flak for later, but in the mean time he would stand by Cory to guard him from any more potential attack. He knew not of any kind of deal Cory made and it seemed that Seymour had overreacted more than just a little bit to Cory holding John up by the throat.
"Joining you seems viable if we don't take action against him..." John said not even worried about Seymour's ability to hear him. "There is a point in time where being a goodie goodie can leave you dead..."

[Cory .:. Angel Grove .:. City]
Cory smiled at John's reaction, shooting an almost victorious look Seymour's way before saying, "Truer words have never been spoken. However, he has Elleon distracted for the time being, so let the snake take care of the terramancer." The Resolve gave way, sending Cory to one knee as he smiled up at John. "Both of us are injured, and I myself am fatigued from fighting that monster one-on-one. However, I do know a way in which we can both continue the fight..."
Indomitable Will covered Cory's right arm as he lifted it up to John, his Indomitable Eye technique fading away as he said, "Drive with me. I'm gifted by Hades with the ability to enter a Drive Form with anyone willing. Entering a Drive Form will replenish both of our health and energy during the form, and we will both be released from the Drive in a similar state. So how about it?"

[Anthony ~.~ Caribbean Sea ~.~ The Challenger]
"Speak to Sora," the young warrior-knight thought to himself. "Speak to Sora? One doesn't merely walk up to Sora and say 'Hi!' I mean, he's Sora: The Keyblader!" Anthony gulped, leaning to the left a bit to look over James' shoulder and at Sora, who was looking over the railing of the ship at the waves below. Suddenly, a feeling of withdrawal came over Anthony as he began to feel shy. He never liked confronting others, especially people he didn't know. Thus far he's been lucky people have approached him instead or he'd never make the effort to introduce himself.
"Yeah... about that," Anthony began. "Maybe... Maybe I'll ask him after I get some rest. I wouldn't wanna throw up all over the Keyblader or anything, you know?" he said, nervously chuckling afterward. "I'll be below deck if anyone needs me." With that, he turned around and headed below deck in search of a room to rest in.
Anthony became desperate to lay down somewhere as he felt himself becoming more and more nauseous by the second. In one of the rooms he found a shirtless man resting and the boy he met earlier, Jacob, who was resting on a hammock. Not wanting to disturb them, he decided to keep searching for another room. During his search, he heard the sound of wood cracking under pressure then a woman calling out for help. Instinctively, Anthony ran in the direction of the cry. "Did someone call--," he said as he turned into the room, stopping mid-sentence as he saw the two girls from earlier, Jenny and Noelle, and another woman, Dawn, laying on top of a broken crate with her legs in the air. "...for... help... ...oh...," he said, shifting his eyes as he immediately felt awkward in the presence of the tiny blonde girl. "Hello again... erm...," he said, slightly waving his hand at the group.

John. Let's look at this situation. He tried to kill you before. If he attacks Seymour at this point, it will just make things worse.
How do you know...?
Look, just take my advice, this isn't a good idea...
"...ok" John said as he stuck out his hand to meet Cory's.

Cory reached out and grabbed John's hand, a bright cyan light exploding from the union and engulfing the two of them...
[Personal Hell]
The ronin opened his eyes and sighed, immediately understanding that he was not in charge of the Drive. He was, again, in the familiar hell hole that was his mind. "Man... One of these days I really want to be in control of the Drive... You'd better do some good, John." The rogue stuck his hands in his pockets and began wandering through the hell, ignoring the freakish landscapes around him as though they weren't even there.

{Kyle : Angel Grove: City}Of course he jumped. They all jumped. It wouldn't make sense for him not to jump or dodge in some way. And then he sent a Sylph at him. Which continued to circle him and send rather painful blades at him, blades made of wind. This would be such a cool power if it wasn't being used against me!You mean we haven't worked on a shielding technique yet?NO!Ah. Well then. I suppose this would be a good time. First send your magic into a circle around your body, just enough to completely cover you. Then stamp your foot on the ground in the circle to activate the magic. It's only strong enough to take a single attack, but it should be able to save you from at least one attack.{{Kyle has unlocked Personal Barrier.}} Awesome! Taking several more of the blades, Kyle sent the magic into the earth and stomped his foot. Instantly, a wall of concrete and earth mixed together to protect him from the Sylph's attacks. Feeling rather victorious, he started to think of a counter-attack when the earthquake hit. Stumbling only a bit, his priorities instantly changed. He couldn't let Elleon destroy the city.
As soon as the protective shield fell, Kyle started running. If Sylph followed him, he wouldn't bother defending, focusing purely on getting close enough to the two summons. When he felt that he was close enough, he stopped and held his hands out. Within seconds, a large glowing circle appeared under him, before the ground beneath him began to shake. Out of the earth came a large serpent with piercing yellow eyes. Midgardsormr emerged from the earth until it was just as large as Titan and Anima and glared at Titan. Then something odd happened. The organic snake was turning into a robot. Rather odd, but it was happening. In just a few short seconds, Kyle had gone from standing on an organic snake to a mechanized one. But it didn't lesson the impact of the eyes, even if it had been mechanized.
Standing on the head of his summon, Kyle focused his magical power and sent it down Midgardsormr's body into the earth, slowing the earthquakes Elleon was creating by just a bit, noticeable, but not stopping them completely.

[Alan :: Angel Grove :: Streets]
Alan couldn't see the terrible look in Kai's eyes. Alan couldn't see the nightmare that issued froth from her pen. Alan couldn't even hear screams. As such, much of the terror of the situation was lost on him. Still, thanks to Clarity, he could see the shapes of the wires even before they formed - the lines that they were to follow were magical, and therefore visible to him. He had only a split second to react - enough time to cast one spell or to try to get out of the area. Acting on instinct, he opted for the former.
There was no particular reason he chose to protect Dani over the other two - as mentioned, he was acting on instinct here. Without turning his head, Alan pointed at the newcomer. "Flow, o water!"
Alan cast a low level Water spell, the only level of magic he could get off before Kai's spell came into being. A bolt of water pushed Dani back, out of the range of the replica's maze of wires. Since it wasn't cast offensively, and since Dani is, after all, water elemental, it would have done only minimal damage.
Unfortunately, focusing on saving Dani left Alan with no time to dodge himself. Truth be told, he wasn't sure he'd have been able to. Exquisite pain filled his senses (okay, his sense) as he was hoisted aloft. Did he scream? Hard to say. In this state, Alan couldn't even hear himself.

[Amy : AG : City]
There were certain things that would never ever have a negative effect on Amy's person that, upon watching, nonetheless made her cringe. Azrael's dishonorable attack was one of them. He hurt Kyle. He hurt Kyle in a way that was usually reserved for desperate women trying to escape immoral men. Perhaps the biggest insult was how unnecessary it had been; obviously Azrael was strong enough to fight without resorting to such methods. No, this wasn't done to gain the upper hand, (that he already had), this was done purely, simply, out of malevolence.
She heard screams from somewhere behind her, cries of pain... while Azrael was being struck by some sort of powerful ice spell, and his cries mixed with the others. His were of a different nature, however, much more upset. The others sounded helpless, like they had no control over how they even screamed. Theirs was: "Ogod this hurts." Azrael's was: "Ogod I'm gonna kill something."
True to that thought, he summoned, uh, fairies. Fairy things. Winged fairies. ... fairies. Amy's look might have been one of mute incomprehension, as she had expected something more menacing, but that quickly faded under the attack. The bo staff was coming crashing down on her, the earth had started shaking–violently!–and she felt a wrongness. Her very soul screamed out against it, and she knew it wasn't from the attack, nor from the guilt of having Leon protect her once again. No, this was...
"Anima," Amy said weakly, looking up at the monstrosity in all demonic form for the first time in a realistic setting. It was wrong! It was wrong! She couldn't see Seymour anywhere. "John..." she looked around for him, foolishly forgetting herself and her predicament. They had talked about Seymour. About the... risks.
She was brought back to the moment by one of Azrael's fairies hitting her with a blade. It must have been the wind, because it hadn't come close enough to actually touch her. She was reminded of the tiny fairies in the beginning of the Labyrinth, the ones that looked so nice, but bit you anyway. It was a fleeting thought. She jumped back away from it, and shot at it with her uncharged gun.
