Okay, I think I know what you're talking about, Aoi, but what do they have to do with the threat to Kumo? Also, what exactly are the four heavenly kings? I still have no clue what it is that they do >_< .

They get these jewels with amazing power and the people with the jewels are descendants of the four heavenly kings. Sosay, Ukiyo, and Sarukin are the first three, and Sarkin is suppose to find out who's the last one >.<
That's at least what I've out of it.

I say Raiden, but I have a feeling it's going to backfire and be in my possession for a few creepy reasons:Tortoise (Black Warrior) = North, Winter, Black, Water White Tiger (Kirin) = West, Fall, White, Metal Red Bird (Phoenix) = South, Summer, Red, Fire Dragon = East, Spring, Blue/Green, Wood <- the one who's missing
and another reason, is if you watched the anime where Aoi's picture comes from (elemental gelade, and her name is Ren) she has a jewel on her forhead hidden by the ribbon or handkerchief.

Actually (I just noticed that a bunch of threads were created to explain the four kings, sorry for the trouble sweatdrop ) the mountains aren't based on the beasts of Chinese legend. North is weasel/ferret/something of that sort that I completely forgot about >_< , South is swords, West is monkeys, and East is snakes. Raiden has a chance because he's the only current non-genin left out but Aoi is a medic ninja (the only one in Cloud, I believe) so she'll fit the protection theme of the East, giving her a decent possibility of being chosen.
Also, I noticed the jewel on her forehead while I was looking for pictures of one of my other characters 3nodding .

No you shouldn't have >_< ! Aoi is a better name than Ren 3nodding . Besides, it's no fun to copy characters from animes and such.
