Definitely, it makes you wonder why people like this book. The main character isn't likable, he is a selfish fool and has little to no redeeming qualities.
Ah yes, that is amusing.

So one of these guys. Tough Death is away for a bit, he should be back soon, and I have seen Lilly and Cobra online recently.
Well fantasy is obviously better. A realistic book gets boring too quickly. Matthew Reilly has just the right amount of epic insanity to bypass that though. At least in his books, stuff actually happens.Or you will be knelt...

I'll send a PM tommorow. I have seen how flooded Mods get with messages. A mod on the Escapist posted something of his in box, it had about 400 messages...

Ah yes, good point. Cobra is quite generous. When it was his birthday a week or so ago, he had it Hobbit style, giving everyone who posted in a topic in the Nameless Village 3 items of their choice. Saved me over 500K of saving up there.
He flees the war, obsesses over some girl, goes back to his country and is almost beaten to death by some blond Afghan Nazi fool. He is then rescued by a midget boy in a dress wielding a slingshot saves him. Oh the humiliation.Or you will be knelt...
