Kenzi heard Ananda's insisting upon him having whined but he ignored it and kept his attention upon she who insisted upon helping him. He was about to say "I don't need help" but instead decided to re-word it. "I don't see that happening...even in a hospital." He said that, and then decided to add a little more out of the urge he got to explain it further so that she might understand why he did not want her to heal him. "I do not fear any pain from your healing me, but I do not want to have to rely on others for survival. Even if I do get sick I'll have to get better on my own..." he said this with a short nod that followed after it and then he pulled his arm up so that he could see it, moving his other arm over to it and poking at the wound. Blood gushed out of it and the blood smelled and looked healthy. HE blinked a few times and then dug his claw down deep inside ofit, clsing his right eye from the sudden pain-but only paying attention to thefeel of the inside of his wound. That felt healthy aswell. He did not need her...but if she wanted to clean his wounds she would have to do it later anyway. Even if he felt unhealthy when he had dug into his wound.

"You're an idiot," Rille informed him bluntly. "Accepting an offer of help once doesn't mean you're relying on me. But suit yourself, I suppose." She went over to the cupbord on the wall, pulling out a jar of a clear gel and a roll of bandages. Carrying them over to Kenzi, she dropped them in his lap. "Rub that stuff anywhere you're hurt, and wrap a bandage around it, at least. Before you bleed to death, and not after, if you don't mind. It'll sting," she informed him as an afterthought. She turned to go back and stand next to Ananda, then turned to look at him. "Best hurry up with that, though, I may need your help." She sat down on the edge of the bed, frowning down at her cousin. "Nan, I need to get inside you to see what's messed up with your teleporting. But to do that, I need you to be asleep. It'll make it easier. Do you think you can fall asleep on your own, or do I need to give you something?"
Ananda frowned. Great, she wants to go poking around in me like I'm a science experiment. Just great. Wish I had some other choice. "Dose me, please," she muttered. "After that announcement I couldn't sleep if I wanted to. Um...so you really think this is going to fix things?" She gave her cousin a concerned look. Or is this just going to make things worse? I hope she knows what she's doing...

Kenzi blinked a few times, keeping his silence as she told him what t odo and gave him the materials. He let the gel drop onto the floor as she turned to her cousin, and wrapped only come of his wounds with the bandage, ripping it off with his teeth to start anew on something else. He did this with both his arms' wounds and took off his shirt to look at his frontal cuts. He only put a three bandage wide wrap around those wonunds, getting the largest one and leaving the rest. HE did not put bac his shirt though, as he was not very comfortable with the bandages yet. They were not unfamiliar to him, so he had used them as they were supposed to be used subtract the gel. He noticed how much blood he'd lost and his eyelids grew heavy. Even though he had recently slept the loss of blood that he'd allowed to become a greatly increasing amount for so long had made him lose some of his focus. He blinked several times until he could keep his eyes open wide, and then he let his hair fall in his face as he waited for instructions on how to help whenever she might need him.

Rille nodded. "Hang on a second, then." She turned and walked out of the room, to a small room across the hall. "Kenzi," she called behind her, "keep the gel, it's good for you." She rummaged in a drawer, finally finding the bottle she was looking for with a cry of triumph. She poured a few drops of it into a glass full of water, and brought it back into the room, being careful not to spill any. "Drink it all," she instructed Ananda, handing her the cup. "It's strong, but it'll take a minute or two to work."
Ananda sipped a little of the mixture, making a face at the taste. She drank the rest quickly, and handed the cup back to Rille. "Why is it that these concoctions of yours taste so foul?" She stuck out her tongue in emphasis.
Rile laughed. "Because if they tasted good, people would want more than what's good for 'em, and that's a good way to end up dead. This way, they want to get better as quick as possible, so they can stop taking the medicine. She peered over at Kenzi, who looked a little woozy. That's no good, I need him alert. Else this won't work. "Do I need to give you something to keep you awake?"
Ananda yawned hugely. "I should've figured it'd be something tricky like that," she muttered. "You people make my head hurt sometimes. But foul or not, it works..." She let herself fall back against the pillow, almost asleep.

Kenzi watched her and still did not pick up the gel, watching very weakly that which was now happening before him. His hair was now in his face, but slowly he shook his head and in doing so refused to accept her message and by refusing he decided that he would not even try and stay awake, and maybe if he did that then he would not need to. Maybe if he kept trying to sleep then he would end up staying awake ainstead, and so he let his eyesclose from behind his hair and he started to sleep. QUickly he was out of it though, and his refusing her offer had not been but a few moments before this and that she was now with her attention on him, he knew then and there that it was going to be hard to sleep with her there, maybe she might not even let him and then the drowsiness would eventually fade away into nothingness-a nothingness that was irrelevantly visible. Kenzi was now ignoring the pain caused by the brand new bandages, and the scars would not show up anyway-but if there was that possibility with him then he would be creating fairly large scars with the tightness he wrapped his wounds at. They were so tight that, though they took the shape of his unflexed bicep, he would be unable to heal very quickly with them pressing so hard down on the wounds. There was not much of him covered, revealing his entire torso, but most attention was drawin to the remaning wounds which might even heal faster then the bandaged one at the current rate it was going at.

Ananda's eyes blinked open for a moment, and she looked over at Kenzi. "I don't think he's going to be much help," she murmured, then fell fast asleep. Her breathing was so slow it almost looked as though it had stopped, and she looked more dead than alseep.Rille shook her head. "Asleep, both of them. Figures. Well, I'll have to do this on my own, I guess." I just hope I know what I'm doing. And I pray it's the right thing. The thought of trying to wake Kenzi back up didn't even cross her mind. She moved a chair over next to Ananda's bed and sat down. Closing her eyes, she placed her hands lightly on Ananda's arm, seeing her in her mind. As they always did when she was healing, her hands began to glow a pale green. The glow spread up her arms until it surrounded her, and down to surround Ananda as well, until they were encased in a bubble of light. Rille began to search through Ananda's body for the source of her troubles. This could take awhile...I'd best get to work...

Kenzi's eyes opened and he sat up, he'd had a Nightmare but he would not speak about it, he slipped off of the bed that he sat on and walked over to Ananda's. It was abrupt, his awakening, for it had not been long before then that he had first begun to sleep and now he was up and looking down at the girl. He moved his hair out of his eyes with one brush rom his least injured arm, and he looked her over, using his Memory Wraith abilities to observe the memory cells in her body. He found an area that was oddly red instead of the grey color that memory cells usually were, this color was odd though because it usually meant that there was no fixing the problem through Wraith Healing, which was the ability to restore items to what hey were before a certain date. This usually could only be done in inanimate objects. He tapped Rille, ignoring the green, and pointed at where the memory cells had reacted. He kept silent though, half asleep from his weariness...and he stood there in a sort of daze as he watched from a dangerously close range from Rille's healing light.

Rille frowned, looking up at Kenzi, and made shooing motions with one hand. "How...did you...get in?" She spoke slowly, in a barely audible whisper. She noticed then that he was pointing at something, and turned back, peering intently in the direction he pointed. To her, the area looked black, as though it was rotting. She reached towards the spot with one hand. It felt...wrong. Almost slimy to the touch. That's it, then. That's what has to go. She sent a ray of her green light lancing towards it, and frowned as it bounced back. That's not supposed to happen. She began to examine the spot more carefully. It's...it's not part of her! Thats why I can't heal it, even though it feels wrong. But...then what can I do? Except...yes. That's it. The only way, and I can study it more, figure out what it is and how to get rid of it. She reached out again towards the black mass, this time trying to draw it out of Ananda, and into herself. She shuddered at the touch of it, but accepted it willingly. The light began to fade around her, and she sighed softly. "Done, for better or for worse." Before the light could fade completely, she scanned Ananda's body carefully, driving all the poisons and the remnants of the drug she had taken out of her body.
Ananda started to wake up, her head fuzzy. She expected it to hurt, like it always seemed to, but was surprised to find that she didn't hurt anywhere. She wasn't quite awake enough to open her eyes, but she listened intently, hoping Rille would say something about what had happened, and whether or not she was cured.

Kenzi blinked a few times, as he watched the red memory cells move and watched as they faded and became grey...when this happened though, Rille's memory coding caught his atention and his eyes lazily looked up at her. He blinked a few times. "Why did you move them into you? How does that help?" By saying them it was obivious that he meant the cells, when she had obviously not seen the black mass the way he had. He was unsure of what her intentions were, but he had not really noticed that he might have let slip something that she was wanting to keep a secret. He ignored this though and waited for her to answer his question, and obviously for protesting reactions from Ananda. This was her cousing afterall, there would definitely be some kind of protest coming from her-or just a sort of confusion. He did not worry aboput this any longer though, and touched Ananda where the tainted memory cells had been, wondering if it would feel any bit awkward as compared to anywhere else. He didn't think about this either, for if he had he would have remembered that he had just met her and thus would probably be intruding upon her personal space. Too close for comfort was usually more appliable on the first date, or in the first time meeting someone...

"Wha-at?" Ananda's eyes flew open. She shoved Kenzi's hand aside, glaring at Rille, and struggled into a sitting position. "You didn't! Tell me he didn't just say what I thought he said. Tell me you didn't...take what was wrong with me and move it into you." Could she be any more of an idiot? If it's dangerous for me, it's just as dangerous for her! What is she thinking?
Rille sighed. "You heard right. And if you'll hold off on yelling at me for a minute, I'll explain." She waited for a moment to make sure Ananda was finished, then continued. "It was dangerous for this...thing, I'm not sure exactly what it is...to be in you, Ananda. You have no way to fight it, and no way to get rid of the nasty stuff it was making inside you. But as long as it's in me...well, it may not affect me at all. But I can heal myself of any damage it does, so I have plenty of time to figure out what it is, and how I get rid of it for good." She sighed, leaning back in the chair and rubbing her eyes with one hand. "And Kenzi, you never answered my question. How did you get over here? I was sealing us in, you shouldn't have been able to get through that light." She gave him a curious stare. There's got to be more to him than meets the eye.

Kenzi blinked a few times, he had not even noticed that he was supposed to be forced to keep out. This confused him, he didn't know why now. "I don't know...maybe because I was able to help? Or simply the Memory Wraith genes?" he gave an exaggerated shrug and put his hand in his pocket. He did not feel anything different though, so he'd touched her for absolutely no benefit. And he poked at one of the wounds on that arm with his hand that had not touched her. When he poked at it, the bandage that covered it turned red as it pushed blood out of it in a large amount. He blinked...something odd must have happpened with that injury, though the only thing other then it bleeding so much with just a few pokes is that it hurt the most out of all of the wounds she'd inflicted. He looked at it though, and the memory cells were green, therefore they were healable by his own powers...though he would not eal himself int hat way either...for the same reason. He did not want to weaken his body by treating it as if it were most important above all things and spoiling it by healing it every small injury it got. Now if it was a fatal wound then of course he would heal it. But this one did not seem fatal and he decided that he would not heal himself for that reason...and obviously would not let her heal him either.

Rille shrugged. She wasn't going to admit it, but she was starting to feel tired, and she closed her eyes for a moment before turning to look at Kenzi. "Don't do that," she told him sharply as she saw him poking at his wound. "If you keep opening it up like that, it'll take longer to heal, and it's more likely to scar. Besides, you're making my head itch." This was the way she usually described it when there was someone nearby who was wounded, or sick. It was starting to get uncomfortable, and she sighed softly, rubbing at her temples.
Ananda scowled at her cousin. "So now you've worn yourself out for nothing, and to top it off you're infested with this whatsis now. Great. Just great. Girl's a certified nutcase." And here I was trusting her not to do anything stupid. Where's another doctor to keep her from being an idiot when you really need one? And Kenzi...if he could see what was happening, why didn't he stop her? God...it's a conspiracy of fools!

Kenzi blinked, as he looked down at Ananda, listening to her and her thoughts as he'd subconsciously let himself link to her mind again. He stopped poking at his wound and let both of his hands slip in his pockets after Rille had spoken, and he waited until Ananda had finished her thought with conspiracy of fools and then commented on the thought without thinking twice. "What makes me a fool?" with this thought his brow raised and he looked at her accusingly, as she had just accused him of being foolish when she was the one who had just deliberately used her teleportation after she had been warned by her cousin that it was dangerous. Apparently Rille did not teleport though, since she did not seem to have any problem and had spoken aloud that it would probably not afffect her much at all. There were ways of getting supernatural help with her, but Kenzi would not go to such an extent for someone he knew for so little a time. Especially if he was unrelated to them in anyway except for through someone who he also knew for very little time. That did not seem very rational. So he waited for what she would say to what he had siad, probably she would tell him not invade her privacy-but he would ignore that as he always did...since it never brought anything but trouble his way. And not the fun kind of trouble but the kind of trouble that even he could not possibly enjoy.

Ananda returned his look with a cold stare. About to tell him off for snooping, she opened her mouth, then closed it again. No sense in wasting my breath, since he won't listen anyways. Instead, she sighed. "You're incorrigable," she informed him slowly. "And a fool for just standing by and doing nothing. Didn't you hear Rille say she really has no idea wht this thing is, or what it was feeding off?" Well, maybe not in so many words, but that's more or less what she meant. "She could very well be in more danger than I was, and have absolutely no idea."
Rille shook her head. No use arguing with her, not when she's like this. Although...she might have a point. I need to go to the library. Hopefully they've got something there to tell me what this thing is.

Kenzi looked down at her, blinking once or twice as he stared blankly at her with no interest in what she was saying. He had only ask the question because he felt obligated to stand up for himself in that particular position. He heard her thought before she finished and shrugged before she was finished. "I didn't hear her say that...I probably would have thought she knew better than I with what she was doing even if I had though, so I do not see what you can go calling me a fool for. I know nothing about whatever thing is now inside of her, but she seemed to be doing what she thought right so I let her. She won't go teleporting all the time anyway though, and that looked like it was what triggered your being in danger right?" he still looked at her, but now with a more argumentative look in his eyes as compared to the one moments before he started speaking that showed not even a hint of caring at all. It seemed that sometimes his expressions changed more rapidly than his actual feeling towards things did, which was odd but seemed to be more of a habit in recent days then it had been in the past and he could not do much to change it as of now anyway. So he did not even try, for that would have proved to be pointless in the end.
