Aidan raised his voice a little--"I don't want to kill them!"
The boy's fist clenched. "I...I know that there are some of us who are close to the morphs. And I don't want to ruin that. Vika...she said that the morphs were only following orders. Synra, at least."
"I don't want to kill those that can be spared! I don't want that!" pleaded the tactician. "Don't accept it so easily...life isn't black and white like that. There are shades of gray. We can't just kill them without trying to find an alternative!!"

... Eh? That's strange, I can't hear what he's saying anymore... He must've been shouting when he'd said that he had 'important news'... And sure enough, as the thief relocated himself, the voice grew more audible. "...the correct keys ... without killing the morph that guards them." The rest of what was being said afterwards didn't matter to him. That was all the information he'd needed to hear.
Damn, just sneaking in wouldn't have been enough anyway... Ballocks! Did I just say that out loud?!

Ed barked upon hearing Matthew's voice. She stood and scanned the room, suddenly restless and defensive. She was agreeing with Aidan mentally when her ears detected the voice.

"Are we planning on storming and re-taking FEF Castle? Is that why you're all raving about killing the morphs?" Sue asked. "I know that what they've done is unforgivable, but Aidan's right. Vaherianslyeri and Synra showed displays of emotion... they might not all be bad. But, we have to let them know our current crew is in charge, not them.
All the while, Roy's earlier message set into Sue's mind. He was an ally... a friend all along. She knew it...
And all this time, she was prepared to fire upon him. What stupidity to assume he'd betray FEF so easily! The nomad felt foolish, but at least... at least General Roy was her friend again.
She knew that just like in the old days, while in conflict against Bern, they would overcome this adversary with the rest of their comrades... "Together we Ride!", was the motto, first used by the cavalier Sain, and now used the world over in FEF.
{OOC: I dunno if FEF's Sain ever said it, but it sounds like something FE 7 Sain would say.}

I remember there were about a handful of morphs left over after we killed Nergal, but...their attacks stopped after a while. I don't know if their spellbooks wore out, or if..."
Exasperated, he turned to Abel: "I know we're going to have to kill--we already have--but I just want to avoid it as much as possible! Didn't I say that already?"

Barking?! They didn't have a dog earlier! ... Or did they? Either way, it didn't notice me at that point at that's what matters. He knew by now what kind of things meant "leave now" and which didn't, and regardless of whether or not the dog (I know you're a wolf) was actually barking at him or not, he was going to escape.
Like with the door and the break in earlier, he was going to try to cover as much ground as possible before anyone else could notice him.

Alihi remained silent, just staring at her feet. After a few moments, she spoke.
"... If you need me, I'll be outside thinking." And with that said, she left quickly, heading to do just as she said.

Ed whined and darted away from Aidan. She scrambled across the floor, stopping every so often to sniff Matthew out, and when she spotted him her ears stiffened as though to say, "Ah-ha!"
But rather than bark, Ed whined more.
