"That was noble of you." Alucard said to Dag before looking breifly to his son D. The laughter behind him turned Alucards gaze back to Mazz.
"Poor puffball. Such rough treatment you get." Alucard said to Mazz as he started walking over to the male. "Aw i think someone needs a hug." Alucard said with a smile and a laugh as he opened his arms up and came after Mazz.

Thats why he went down there? Thats why he saved me? Why he went to Hell? Because of me? To save our...Friendship? D thought to himself as he clenched his hands in fists and his teeth together. If anyone could see the youths eyes they were brimming with sorrow, relief and confusion. He could feel his emotions swirling beneath the surface, ready to burst at any moment.
Im not supposed to have friends. Why do i care that he did that? No this isnt right, i dont like this feeling. Friends? A companion? Someone to trust and rely on? No, i cant. Can i? Damn him! Ds thoughts were nearing a frantic state. His eyes started to search for a way out, just a secluded spot where he could run and hide to. Run away from his emotions, get control of himself again. Something.

Mazz suddenly found himself hugged, and as a reaction, turned into a raven. A sudden hiccup of magic suddenly inflated the raven like a balloon, and he even started to float away a little. Now he was a floating puffball! Mazz flapped his now-useless wings, as they were too tiny to really do anything.
"Get me down from here!" His voice sounded like it was on helium. Apparently, Alucard scared him into becoming a raven balloon.
Gabriel attempted to hide his laughter. He nearly broke his stoic visage. Spearhead was only laughing harder at the floating bird. Dag grinned at the floating bird, "That suits you, airhead."
"Shut up!"

"Aw arent you adorable!" Alucard squealed as he grabbed Mazzaker, the floating puffball Raven. "I wouldnt want you floating away now would i?" Alucard smirked as he held onto Mazz. "Oh oh i got an idea! Does anyone have string?" Alucard laughed as he turned back to Gabriel and Spearhead.

D started backing out of the room, while the others were focused on Mazzaker. The eternal conflict within him was too much. D slipped out of the room, back through the window they had come in through. He stuck to the outside wall of the room. His back was to the wall, while his feet and hands kept him in place.
D closed his eyes and rested his head back on the wall. A few crimson tears slipped down Ds cheeks once more. He felt strange, relief and something akin to happiness filled him but it was so strange a feeling the youth saw it as nuisance. Part of him wanted to welcome back Dag with a hug, though he didnt know why he was compelled to do so.
"Buried himself deep in there didnt he?" The parasite commented. "Well get it together before someone notices youve gone missing."

Gabriel tied the raven's feet to the string he got from his pocket, and handed the string to Alucard, "Embarrass him some more."
"Damn it Gabriel!"
Gabriel started laughing.
While the others were distracted, Dag poked his head out the window, looking for D. He found D.
Dag was still in Legion's metamorphosis. It wasn't a complete transformation, but it was still Legion's influence.
"D?"

"Embarass.. no i just didnt want him floating away." Alucard said as he tied the other end of the string to his wrist. "See? Now your a fluffy balloon. That talks." Alucard said with a straight face before bursting out into laughter.
Admist their laughter Alucards gaze went to Dag whose head was poking out the window. A quick survey of the room and Alucard knew whom Dag was looking for.
Alucard smirked only to turn his attention back to Mazz. "Shall we continue on puffy balloon?" Alucard said as he tugged on the string.

"Yeah?" D said softly and gently, it was such a strange but soothing tone coming from the youth who was usually cold as ice. D reopened his eyes and wiped away the crimson lines on his cheeks. His eyes met Dags, Legions metamorphosis didnt scare or intimidate him one bit.

"You, Gabriel, are cruel. Very very cruel."
Gabriel said nothing, just grinned. Spearhead also grinned, but because he had no teeth, it was just a beaky smile.
Daggerfang gave a gentle smile to D, "We're not done yet. We still have much work to do. It'll all be worth it in the end."

Dags words sparked something, different in the youth. Ds lips formed up into a gentle smile, the first one he had, had in awhile. "I suppose we do." He said gently before coming down from his spot and meeting eye to eye with Dag.
Ds feet were on the edge of the window, while his arm anchored him to the outside of the building still. "Dont scare me like that again. Hell will look like a walk in the park if you do." D said firmly as that smile of his, which was so gentle and welcoming, remained on his face for a few seconds more before fading.
"Im sick of this place, lets get out of here." D said to Dag, as he felt his emotions finally calm. D felt different that was for sure, but fighting it just made him feel worse. It was time to embrace this new... D.

Dag pulled his head back in, and advanced deeper into the room. His eyes shifted from amber, to completely black. A shape barreled into the demonic dhampir, but was shoved off like nothing happened. Soon the room was full of those sickly, skin-and-bones creatures, hunger in their eyes.
The largest one was in the back of the room, waving its tail in the air and salivating at the group. They were clearly demons that were eternally starved, and were powerful because of it.
The entire room lit up, signaling a fight.

D made his way back into the room and joined Dags side. Only to have something shoved into the Demonic Dhampir before D could even think of making a move. Drawing his sword when the room lit up, D kept to Dags side, his sword lighting up with sunlight.
"Any ideas as to what these are?" D asked everyone.

"Aw come on!" Alucard sighed when the lights lit up. "This has grown boring and annoying." Alucard said before turning to Mazz. "Come on back the way you were. Lets get this over with." Alucard said to the puffball balloon.

"They're demons. Except they've been empowered and starved by this castle. No matter how much they eat, they will never be filled. We'll have to watch for the big one. He seems much more cunning than the rest."
Dag got Sunbreaker ready. Mazz popped himself, sending feathers everywhere, and shapeshifted into a massive wasp. Gabriel had his scythe ready, while Spearhead prepared his blunderbuss-musket hybrid to shoot anything that moved.
The biggest demon of the group just snarled, and his minions obeyed, surrounding them like a pack of wolves. Their leader just sat there, watching... waiting... calculating.
The ring of hungry demons all struck at once out of desperation.

Eve was sort of offended at the fact that Radu said he was there to protect her but then she realised how things must have looked. She hadn't been much of a help to anyone, not even herself. She ignored it though and continued to search a place that they could get out of the room.

Veira heard that they should look for the other's. She didn't want to look for the other's but she did want to find Eve more than anything.
"Well Eve being my sister and all we have a connection to her. I could try to contact her telepathically. Although I would only be able to see what she sees. So I guess that would only help if we knew the layout of this castle. If you think it would help though, I could do it. You said that she might be with Radu as well. So that might be a bit helpful." Veira said trying to sound like she was being helpful.
It truly disgusted her to be even saying this but this was the only way that she could get things together and see Eve again.

"Well then lets give them a challenge shall we?" Alucard smirked before he tapped into Mazzs powers that he shared. If the other male could transform at will, then he could to.
With his eyes lighting up a bright crimson hue Alucard tapped into that inner animal of himself.
Bones popped and cracked. And his skin turned as ebony as could be. Fur soon took the place of his skin, paws with long claws in replaced his hands and feet. His body twisted and grew much larger than a normal mans. Horns sprouted from his head, as did a pair of pointy dog ears. A muzzle replaced his mouth and nose while a tail with poisonous spikes on it emerged from his backside.
Snapping at the air, a demonic hellhound now stood where Alucard had been. Growling low and lowering his head, preparing for attack, the hounds saliva dripped from its maw, only to sizzle upon the floor like some kind of corrosive acid.
When the creatures attacked the hound met them head on. Tearing into any that dared to get near him. And smacking the others away with his tail or long curved back horns.

D followed suit after his father, heading to battle. Slashing at his foes all the while keeping an eye on the big beastie in charge.

The giant wasp that was Mazz had a nasty weapon. The stinger on the end was used as a rapid projectile, the severed stingers exploding on whatever they contacted with. Spearhead used his portable sunlamps to blind any demon that came too close, while Gabriel sliced them to bits. Daggerfang used a combination of Sunbreaker and Legion's brute strength in case they got past his gun.
Mazz suddenly found himself in the wall, Gabriel and Spearhead were tied painfully together by use of the fallen angel's own wings and Spearhead's sunlamps. What just happened?
The large demon had a huge grin on its face, as if it knew something they didn't. It seemed to gradually vanish, like a fading ghost. Bloody slash marks appeared on Daggerfang's back, made by an invisible force. Soon they were everywhere, Dag trying to get whatever it is off of him. Was it invisible? Or was it just too quick to see, even for the creatures of the night?

The hound made a surprise yelp when Alucard felt things whip past him. What the hell was going on? He couldnt spot their foes, not good. bounding over to Mazzaker, the hound took hold of the male in its jaws and yanked him free from the wall.
"Big boy wants to play dirty." Alucard said in a gruff voice due to the transformation. Turning his gaze on the beastie that was starting to vanish, Alucard lunged, racing towards the beast on all fours jaws snapping.

D tumbled besides Daggerfang, something had smacked into him in mid strike. "What was that?" The parasite said as D got quickly to his feet. Catching Dags frantic movements out of the corner of his eye, D leapt into action. He made a horizontal slice across Dags back, only inches from his friends flesh. He couldnt see what was attacking him, but his blade should have hit something if a creature was there.

Picking up speed Alucard became literally invisible himself as he advanced on the big beastie. Lunging at the last second, jaws agape and ready to crush anything that came between them, Alucards hound form reappeared centimeters from the big beasties neck. Just a little closer and hed snap his jaws shut, cutting through flesh and bone.

D had cut off a piece of the thing's tail. It roared, bounding away to rebound off the wall. The thing gained a brief burst of speed from the castle's enchantments, and zipped away from Alucard's teeth, having been millimeters from the pointy chompers. It did not see the massive set of jaws in front of it, and the demon vanished behind a wall of locking teeth.
Mazzaker had shapeshifted into a tyrannosaurus, having the demon in his mouth. The jaws were pried open little by little, until that large demon was visible. Both were at a stalemate; jaws came down, demon shoved them apart. Crunchjaw held the jaws open by grabbing the teeth and giving them a merciless heave.
Nobody moved.
