"Ruben!" Jaden didn't think twice as he raced after his brother. " Come back Uben?" He called out again using his pet name for his brother. " It's okay im sorry im not mad at you just scared."

Ruben sniffled, but came back in view, his face already tear streaked. He chocked slightly and hugged Jaden, he didn't really wanna leave him alone anyway, not right now. Even if he didn't call him, he'd panic and come back thinking something terrible had happened. He was scared too, and was on edge.

" Im sorry, im just scared i dont want to be here anymore." Jaden said hugging Ruben tightly, letting go he took his hand. " Come we need to get back to your friends cell, okay?"

Ruben nodded, when a strong cold gust hit them, he whimpered and held Jaden tightly. There was a loud scrapping noise and something sped towards them. Ruben cried out before there was a loud roar and a ring of fire surounded them, whatever it was that was heading for them backed away from the light of the flames.
Blazin stepped into the flames from teh other side, and went to the middle, with the pair, and narrowed his eyes at the mass of shadows on the other side. He growled deeply in his throat, then held his hand out behind him, opening the wall of flames for Frostbyte and Darius to get through.
"Nyaaahh!! I'm sorry I took so long!" He told Jaden and his brother. Paniced that he was too late.

Jaden nodded. " Just make sure nothing happens to him." He said not caring for himself Ruben had alread been through enough he didn't need to be hurt again.

Ruben was stunned that he wasn't hurt, and nodded at Dorian, and smiled weakly in thanks at Jaden.
You could hear shadow growling from outside the ring of fire, waiting for Blaze's spell to wear off. He narrowed his eyes, unaware of whomess was with Blaze.
Frost held his hands out, shut his eyes and started to mutter silently to himself. Within a few second, the growling stoped, and a strange confused yelp happened. The flames then dissapeaered, showing a black dog with his feet stuck in ice to the floor. It barked and snarled at the others.
The ice didn't hold for long, but whilst the dog was trapped, Dorian was busily taking his watch off from his neck, and waited behind Jaden and Ruben,
When the ice gave way to Shadow's strength, the dog bounded forward, baring vicious teeth to tear them to shreds. And in a shot, Dorian darted out from the teo and whacked him hard on the head, knocking SHadow unconsious. He also turned quickly back into the anthro he was before.
Ruben whimpered, watching the unconsious Shadow, before turning away from him. He took Jadens hand. "h-home...?" He whimpered to him, decidng that now would be a good time to go.

Nodding he stopped suddenly remembering Alice's cousin" I want to make sure Darius is okay...he may be a jerk but he made sure Shadow didn't get me...then we'll go okay?" He asked still holding his brothers hand.

Ruben nodded, he didn't mind Darius himself.. he seemed.. nice, to him, anyway.
Dorian went after them. "I'll come! I can heal a bit so maybe i can help him?" He murred,tying his watch back to his neck.

Jaden walked slowly to the the first floor were he was pretty sure Darius would be, after all Alice would be looking after him right? " Well then were of to the medic room once again."

Correct, the door was oppen, and it had a bloody paw print on it, infact, there was a bit of blood everywhere were Darius was making quite a heck of a struggle. He was now growling, rather seething that he had been beaten, but his eye was bandaged and he was sitting on the bed, his arms folded in an immature fashion. Oh wait.. she had actually put him in a black straight jacket.. so he could struggle anymore.
"Hello you three." Alice called to them, waving from her desk. "You alright now?"

Jaden nodded looking at the mess. " You sure know how to make a mess." He said looking at Darius. " I just came to make sure you were okay afterall it was my fault." he said with a tiny frown.

Darius narrowed his eyes, his ears perking up and flattening, he glanced at Ruben and sighed, before turning away. "Not your fault. You didn't cause him to go like that. You was just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

"Well then I guess i'll go." Jaden said still frowning. " Bye Alice." He turned around to leave the room it was pretty clear that he didn't plan on returning here for a while. " You can stay Ruben, i'll let mum an dad know that your okay and were you are." Jaden had alway thought that even though Ruben couldn't talk he was the special one.
the one everyone like right away hell he made friends or a close of friends as you could be with their parents enemy, yet the few friends he had he barly say.

Ruben's ears sprung up as Jaden went to leave. He took his hand and smiled, going with him. Yes, admittedly, he had a knack for making friends, even without a voice. But it was likely because in someways, a disability like that made you quite popular with people down here. You could keep secrets. Without the ability to communicate it made you the most trustable person in the place. In fact, Ruben likely had dirt on nearly everyone in here, only he would never tell them, even if he did learn to talk. He just smiled, happy to keep those secrets, and followed Jaden. He did also wish that maybe he could make some OUTSIDE friends, in the world where he really belonged.

Jaden looked at his brother. " You dont have to leave you know im sure there was a reason for you coming here." He said knowing his brother hadn't come here strictly to leave a short time later.
