Then time to go all-in, as it were. From my hand, I equip:
Lightning Blade. (Spell. Equip only to a Warrior-Type monster. It gains 800 ATK and all WATER monsters lose 500 ATK.)
Axe of Despair. (Spell. The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can Tribute 1 monster you control to return this card to the top of your Deck.)
Mage Power. (Spell. The equipped monster gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Spell and Trap Card you control.)

I try for an attack against the Skull? (Ben Kei's current attack is 3800.)

Yup. You win. I assume we'll be sticking with just the single game, rather than the standard three duels to a match?

As the duel ended, Rahvin's enchanted cards danced to his hand before returning to the pouch at his side.
"It appears you've lost this Shadow Game..."
The duel had been based on lifepoints; the very essence of one's life risked in the shadow game. With the loss, Sliver would very soon find her life energies exhausted and she would die, her soul sent to the world beyond.

Sliver felt light-headed as the duel world faded away. Her life was depleted to virtually nothing, and she had only a few moments left before she was gone. She straightened up to face Rahvin, and nodded once. "So it is. But the game is eternal, and pieces will always return to the field. We shall meet again, and next time... the outcome will be... different..."

With that, her strength faded, and she slumped to the ground. Once more, she had died in the process of learning more of this land. She harbored no ill will, that had been a calculated risk, one that she had been prepared for. This was not the end.

Upon finishing her surprisingly brief stint at the Academy, Kawari did not return home to Hidden Gears. Instead, she immediately set out to another village entirely, to try to accomplish a bit more in her studies. She had decided on hidden Sound, mainly for two separate reasons. The first being that it had been relatively quiet there recently, no major disturbances or attacks reported. The second was that supposedly an old Taijutsu user still lived there. He was pretty unique, like much of the others of the village. Finding one unique being among many unique beings seemed like it could either be incredibly easy, or incredibly difficult. At least she had a name to help in her search. Jirobo.

The first few people that she asked didn't know anything about any Jirobo. Liekly they were lying, having no reason to tell the truth to an outsider like her. And she couldn't very well force them to talk, she would only end up barred from the village if she did that. Instead, she just stuck with the plan, moving throughout the village, asking often. Eventually, somebody would slip up, and tell her what she wanted to know. It ended up taking several hours, during which she took a small break, to rest and recover from her exertions. But then, finally, somebody who didn't think her an enemy admitted to the truth. Jirobo was indeed still in the village. Generally, he was purported to stay at a bar not too far away from where she was at the moment. She thanked the villager who had helped her, and headed to the bar.

She didn't pay any mind to the legal drinking age, or anything like that. Since she was mostly mechanical, alcohol wouldn't affect her too much anyways. Of course, that would likely make no difference to the bartender. Hopefully they'd at least let her enter. She looked up as she approached the bar, finding it easily enough. It seemed in ill repair, and in need of a good coat of paint, or at least a good wash.

stepping inside, it took her eyes a second to adjust to the barely lit interior of the bar. Smoke hung thick in the air, from cigarettes, cigars, and other smokables. She scanned the room, her gaze finally landing on a large, heavyset man. She had a picture of the former Jirobo in her memory, and this was the closest she could reasonably expect. While in his younger years he had been a big guy, he had lost a little weight over the years. He still looked powerfully built, however. His hair, once a vibrant orange, was now wispy and gray from the passage of those same years. He had a hard expression on his face, he seemed to have grown into a weather, bitter old man. Convincing him to teach her might be a problem.

She stepped up to his table, and quietly spoke his name. He ignored her as totally as if she wasn't even there. She tried once more, raising her voice somewhat. Still no response. Not discourage, she debated alternate tactics. Liquor was supposed to be a social lubricant. She went to the bar, and came back, sporting a dusty bottle, a pair of tumblers, and a sour look from the bartender. He'd cheerfully take her money, but he still seemed suspicious of her, or her motives. She paid him no mind. Instead, she sat down opposite Jirobo, plunking the bottle and tumblers between them. That seemed to get his attention. Close-knit, beetle eyes stared at her in annoyance, before focusing on the bottle. Without bothering to ask for permission, one large arm rose up and grabbed it by the neck, popping the cork with a single thumb. He sloshed a healthy measure in one glass, spilling an equal amount on the table. Not releasing the bottle, he used his other hand to toss back the contents of the tumbler, to see if the alcohol suited him. His eyes widened at the familiar feel of liquid fire sliding through his guts.

Giving a nod, he filled his tumbler once more, before setting the bottle down. Kawari made no motion to fill her own tumbler, not yet. Neither did she broach the subject of why she was here, bothering him. The silence stretched on, punctuated only by the occasional clink of glass as Jirobo refilled his tumbler. Finally, the bottle lay empty, and Jirobo seemed ready to continue. His voice only slightly slurred, he asked what she wanted, bothering an old man like him. She was almost positive he wasn't drunk in the slightest, and just acting that way to make her drop her guard. She wouldn't fall for it. Instead, she simply responded with the truth. That she was training in the ways of Taijutsu, and wanted him to teach her what he knew.

He laughed at that, genuinely amused. He could tell she was a total beginner, why would she come to him? There were plenty of other, friendlier Taijutsu teachers out there, so why him? She had no real response, other than he had come recommended to her. He glared at her, or rather at the idea of someone else directing trouble his way. He almost asked for the name of the upstart who would dare do such a thing, but stopped himself. She had bought him a drink, and the good stuff at that! he'd play nice, and help her. A little. Didn't want people thinking he'd gone soft for a skirt. Least of all one with such a lack of 'appeal'. Even this long after, he still relied on his old reputation, one of the band of young toughs in the Sound Four.

He grumbled a bit, but then finally acquiesced, telling her to meet him at the south end of town tomorrow at dawn. He'd train her. But only the one day. She nodded, and got up, scraping her chair back as she did so. Leaving the bar, she left the old man wondering just what the world was coming to. He settled the question with a hand raised to the bartender, to drown his question in another bottle.

The next morning, just before the sun had started to peek over the horizon, found Kawari waiting as ordered. A solid hour later, Jirobo shuffled onto the field, rubbing his head. Apparently he had continued drinking throughout the day and now sported a rather fierce hangover. Nonetheless, a promise was a promise, so he'd teach her. He asked what her training had entailed up until now, and she had to truthfully answer that there hadn't been much of any training. Only a single spar with an instructor, and a few books on fighting techniques. He frowned, annoyed at having to teach a rank amateur.

Without further ado, Jirobo immediately went into a brief, detailed explanation of what he was going to teach her. Most of the Taijutsu techniques he used were widely known, and could be learned anywhere. Others were a little more obscure. He had assumed, and assumed correctly, that it was those techniques that Kawari was most interested in learning. If that was the case, then the first step was to understand the rhythm and flow of those techniques. He spent a few long moments going through some basic warm up exercises, to limber his body in preparation for what would likely prove a relatively intense workout. Kawari did not stretch, however. when he asked, she told him that she didn't need to. And it was true, since the majority of her form was mechanical, there were very few actual muscles to worry about preparing for a heavy exercise. Instead, she had sent a few preliminary commands to parts of her system, so that once it came time to move, all signs would be green.

She went into a casual ready stance as Jirobo moved to the side, before beginning his forms. He moved slowly, pointing out a key aspect of each motion, as well as why it was so important to the overall flow of the movements. She paid close attention, making sure she understood as much as possible about each movement, and how only a modicum of movement was wasted by each step. The less energy wasted, the more could be used in the actual use of the technique. Finally, Jirobo reached the end of his routine, and wiped his brow before turning to face her, having gotten turned around during the complicated movements. He waited a moment to catch his breath and regain his composure, then asked if she had followed everything, or if she had missed something.

She nodded, saying she felt she had a solid understanding of the core of the techniques he was teaching her. With that said, he had her go through her own version of the routine. he told her to follow what he had done as closely as possible, only changing the necessary components due to the differences in their size. She nodded, and got started. One benefit of her memory banks was the ability to recall any aspect of what she had seen and review it without any trouble. That included what she had just witnessed. So it was an easy task to actually follow through with the same movements she had viewed. Only minor alterations needed to be made, mostly due to the difference in range of motion, in stride and reach.

She went through the entire routine, filing away small notes on other possible changes to try, to possibly yield a higher efficiency, or to increase the general range of potential responses to an opponent's opening. Once she finished, she turned to face Jirobo, not even sweating. he appeared at least somewhat taken aback at her performance. If she really was an amateur, how had she just done what she did? That routine had taken him weeks to learn, but she had copied it virtually flawlessly after only seeing it once. That took him back, to remember a certain ally who had a most peculiar eye, that enabled him to do those same things. he peered at her face intently, and while her irises were indeed that same red color, her pupils did not look like what he was expecting. Just a false alarm, then. Good. That other one had been quite enough for him, he didn't want to deal with the hassle of meeting another youngling from that clan. Never mind the fact that they were supposed to be virtually extinct.

He grudgingly complimented her performance, and ran through the directions once more, to make sure she understood all of the techniques fully. Or at least fully enough that she could use them without messing up too visibly, that was about the limit of his generosity. Once he was done, he debated with himself for a moment before quickly wishing her good luck. Then he turned and stalked off, eating up the distance and vanishing back into town. Headed, no doubt, back to the bar. Kawari watched him go silently. She had accomplished what she needed to, there was nothing else for her in this village. It was time to leave, to go to the next stop in her training regimen.

She took one last look around and gathered her thoughts. Where should she go next? There were still plenty of villages she had never been to, plenty of techniques left to learn and master on her quest. This decision, while not terribly important in the long run, had a veil of importance added to it. She couldn't choose lightly, this decision just might play a huge impact on her later success or failure. With that accomplished, she skirted the edge of the village, heading back toward the docks. There was no reason to walk through the village itself, she would just cut across and go to the docks, before leaving the village entirely.

Gregory house walked forward, leaning heavily on his cane. He took a couple vicodin pills and swallowed them. Within a few moments his mind was clouded enough that he could almost not even notice the pain in his thigh. He looked forward at the person standing across from him. He knew little about the ninja, only that he was going to be teaming with him for the known future. that surprised him a little bit. It also bothered him some. "Well then, shall we begin?" House said as he brought up his cane in front of his body.

The man standing across from house swallowed a sugar cube. Only the sugar cube was not normal. It contained two drops of LSD. He takes that much from time to time, it gets the job done, that much is for sure. Within a few minutes he too would begin to lose sense of himself and start to trip. He enjoyed the feeling as he pulled the guitar from behind his back and strummed a few notes murmuring to himself "I am the eggplant, they are the eggplant. I am the walrus. Cucu cacho." He himself pulled a kunai from his pack and put it in front of him. Yea, I do believe that it is time to start moving, is it not?

Now a Gennin it was time for Ryuuku to prepare for the oncoming Chunnin Exams, and the best way to do so was mastering a few of his clan jutsu. When he had returned to his clan compound from the Academy he was met by no one. The only other Kaguya he could possibly think of was far off in another land than the one he was in. This being the case he was alone with himself in his clan compound. He passed farther into the old compound that had been around for near a century. It's floor was made of hardwood it's wall were of the common material used in walls, it's roof of the common material used in roofs. The compound had over eight bed rooms and six bath rooms all of whcih rarely used unless Ryuuku was actually home. The compound towered over as a four story compound obviously being one of the biggest in the village. He continued on walking through the compound taking a strike of sadness and loneliness. This is how it was nowadays. The Kaguya clan used to be prosperous and populous but years or fighting had brough it to this. As Ryuuku walked all he could think of was the old days of his child hood when there were more of his kind. Pretty much the days when the compounds rooms were filled and people had to fight to use the bathrooms. After that moment of nostalagia Ryuuku caught himself and put himself back on the right track towards the compound dojo. When he had arrived at the dojo nostalagia struck again. He began thinking about the first times he had been in the dojo. The times when he had worked so hard to master his first jutsu. Once again he caught himself and put himself on the right track. Then to keep himself from falling into nostalagia once more and wasting time he told himself "Those are the old days live in the now!". After that he began walking across the rather dust filled dojo. To the other end were there lay hundreds of smalls scrolls and two rather large scrolls. The two large scrolls contained information on the history of the clan, the smaller scrolls contained one clan jutsu per scroll. Ryuuku didn't really care which jutsu he attempted to learn first so he dug around in the smaller scrolls pulling out one. The scroll he had taken contained information on how to perform "Dance of the Cactus". Jutsu's like the one he had just pulled out were his clan's trademark. Everyone who was a Kaguya could dance fairly well and kill while dancing even better. This jutsu would be the first dancing jutsu he had ever learned. It would also be the second clan jutsu he had ever learned. He totally unrolled the scroll containing information on "Dance of the Cactus". This information consisted of the history of this jutsu, how it was made, how to perform it, and tips and tricks about it. Feeling as though he should show respect for those before him Ryuuku read every bit of text on the scroll starting with the history. The history of this jutsu went way back into the early days of the ninja worls. The days when many of the modern day villages didn't even exist. Anyways the history of the jutsu started back when the Kaguya had no place to call home and were mere nomads. Considering they had no home the were constantly on the move from place to place, and sometimes the places they stayed in were hostile territory. To protect themselves from ambush from every direction the Kaguya people would sprout bone senbon all over their body and dance about shoooting the senbon all over their oncoming enemies thus protecting themselves from ambush. After reading the history Ryuuku began reading how to perform the jutsu. Firstly it requiered the user to generate chakra alll throughout their body thus activating the bloodline to the full extent. After that the user should imagine as though they were shooting charkra from every pore in their body. After that the bone should naturally come out in senbon shape. After that part the user should dance as crazily as possible while still imagining they were shooting chakra from every pore at that point the user should have shot out senbon everywhere. The good thing about this jutsu was that the senbon shot everywhere making it a good jutsu for the Chunnin Exams in which a person would never know where attacks were coming from. After reading the text Ryuuku put the scroll down and rose up. He breathed in and softly to calm himslef. He then concentrated on generating chakra to every limb of his body. After that he closed his eyes and imagined that chakra was pouring from ever pore in his body. After that something Ryuuku didn't expect to happen happened. The bone senbon tore up his close as they rose from his skin. Well that truly didn't matter as long as he mastered the jutsu. He then began to dance. Completeing several movements. Due to his Kaguya blood he danced as though he had planned out every movement. If someone was watching him they would think he could dance rather well. In the end he had shot off every last senbon except for a few on his arms, but otherwise he had executed the Kaguya clan jutsu "Dance of the Cactus" perfectly.

Immediately after completeing his first dancing jutsu as well as second Kaguya clan jutsu Ryuuku shot of the last senbon that lay in his skin. He felt exhausted from the exertion of chakra. He felt so exhausted that he actually knelt down to bring in some fresh breaths. He placed his fist down on the ground as he knelt to give himself some more support. He had never experienced the use of a jutsu like that. Now he just did and it drained him. This was actually a good thing because it conditioned him for the the later use of this jutsu in the oncoming Chunnin Exam. As he rested he couldn't help but get another strike of nostalagia. Thinking back to when he learned his first Kaguya jutsu. It was not less than a year ago, and he was just begining to master the jutsu. Then when he finally did it he felt even more drained and exhausted then this. Which wasn't all that bad considering it was the first jutsu he had ever learned. Obviously he learned that jutsu alone as he did with all of his jutsu's. The few clan elders there were wouldn't do it as they complained of too much work and that he should learn it on his own thus making pave his own path. After he had mastered his first jutsu he went on hiatus to truly learn his clan's general history from the clan elders and condtion himself to master more of his clans jutsu. This conditioning was comprised of pretty much learning how to retrieve his own bone and push it back and forth naturally through his skin. It was that conditioning combined with his own blood that allowed him to so quickly master his first dance jutsu, and second clan jutsu. He stopped himself before he went any farther into his past. Now it was time to learn his second dance jutsu and third clan jutsu. He threw the scroll he had used previously back into its original positon in the cllection of other scrolls. Now he was going to master another clan jutsu. He began to dig around again for another scroll. He then found another containing information on how to master Dance of the Dandellion. It was then that Ryuuku remembered all of his clan jutsu's except for the first jutsu he had ever learned were dance jutsu's. That's what his whole clan was about. Dance, dance, and dance was all his people ever did it now began to look like. That would truly explain his natural dancing ability. Now it was time for him to become more of a Kaguya. To be more of a Kaguya he would have to perfect his own Shikotsumyaku(Corpse Bone Pathways), and to perfect his own Shikotsumyaku he would have to master all of his clan jutsu. So to be more of a Kaguya Ryuuku looked onto the scroll once again feeling he should respect those before him and read all the text on the scroll. He scanned down the text seeing how the jutsu had come to be and how its been used by the few Kaguya clan mebers in recent years. In summary the jutsu "Dance of the Dandellion" was created in the age when the Kaguya were still nomads and the Otokage hadn't offered them asylum in the Village of Sound yet. The jutsu was created because the Kaguya were now only being offered some mercenary jobs by the Otokage. Realizing they had to perfect more offensive jutsu then they already had to be succesful mercenaries. The Kaguya clan came up with "Dance of the Dandellion" the jutsu could be used to totally obliterate oncoming enemy forces before the enemy even knew there were Kaguya clan members in the area. So thats how the "Dance of the Dandellion" came about. The jutsu needed a whole lot more space than Ryuuku had in the compound dojo. So he moved his training to just outside of the compound. Once he was outside he attempted the jutsu. He pressed out a tick bone from his index finger. Then using his herculean strength to break the hard as steel bone right off his finger. After that he threw the index finger bone into the air. It then came right back down nowhere near completeingit's task. Ryuuku could only think and wonder of what went wrong. It was then that he remembered the jutsu requiered the user to have immense chakra control obver they bone they had thrown into the air. So that they could split it the petal into more pieces. The user would then exert even more chakra control by speeding up the pieces to point of mach speed and have the crash down on the enemy. With this in mind Ryuuku threw the bone back into the air. After that Ryuuku took control of his own bone in mid air and shattered it into hundreds of pieces. He then had them crash down down on the area before him. The pieces naturally went to mach speed as he controlled them. After that it was official, he had finally mastered the clan jutsu "Dance of the Dandellion".

Soon after he had mastered another jutsu Ryuuku felt even more exhausted then before. The jutsu he had just mastered was was even more draining then the last. He retreated to the compound for some convalescence. He dropped onto the compound hard wood floor face up. He looked up to the ceiling while gasping ferociously. He looked to his side were there lay a book shelf. While looking at this book shelf Ryuuku couldn't help but notice his favorite novel was fixed up on the book shelf. The reason it was his favorite was because nearly all the pages were torn out for whatever reason. The only pages that were in the book were the pages from the first chapter and a few pages from the second. As a child after training Ryuuku would like to make up endings to the novel. He had found the novel as child in the middle of the Sound Village marketplace with his now deceased mother. When he found the book in the market place he began to read it's text, and was immediately captivated by the story. It has been his favorite book ever since, and oddly enough he could never find another copy no matter which library or book store he looked through. Anyway feeling that he needed a break Ryuuku rose from his position on the hardwood floor and went to the bookshelf to retrieve his novel. After retrieving the novel Ryuuku collpased using the book shelf as support for his back. He then began the novel starting at the first page. The novel's text went as this

Chapter 1

When word had first arrived in the Land of Stone about a mililtary takeover in Konoha Heki's first reaction was to return to his Home land of Fire and stand up for the old ruler and the rightful owner of the throne. He then quit his training to begin preparing for the unknown in his homeland. The decision to quit this training would prove to be the worst decision he had ever made. He was totally untrained in any other type of fighting style or any type of ninjutsu. He went through the marketplace of Oto expending all savings he had gained from his right to take money from the Hyuuga clan treasury. He bought multiple weapons as well as soldier pills and obviously he bought plenty of food and water, but he didn't just buy any type of food he could find. He planned it out strategically and intelligently. He would cut himself down to two meals a day. These meals only consisting of rice and fish, and if he could he would find fruit and vegetable in Konoha. He spent a full week preparing to go off to Konoha at no point in this week did he train or otherwise physically prepare himself to possibly battle for the princess in Konoha. Near all of the weapons he had purchased in bulk he didn't know how to use. Clearly he had prepared and gone about this whole thing totally wrong.
Due to the fact that he didn't know how to seal objects within scrolls. Heki simply stuffed the hundreds of kunai and shurken he had purchased into a large napsack which he wore rather uncomfartably on his back. He then wrapped his portions of fish in in some thin paper. Then realizing that he couldn't carry the huge sacks of rice he had bought for his journey and stay in Konoha. He unwrapped his fish and filled the same wrappings which contained fish in them with loads of rice. He threw these wrappings into a large travel bag that could be worn over the chest.
Foolishly believing he was ready to go he departed the home he had known since he first left Konoha when the Fire master took over. Now he was returning to fight for the land he fled from not so long ago. As he stepped out of his refugee home door totally believing he was ready to return and fight for Konoha he thought on his own thinking about Konoha's recent history. He thought about how Konoha had traded the fire master for this new tyrant and now this tyrant gripped Konoha even more tightly than the last tyrant. He threw away these thoughts so that he could continue on with his journey.
Sooner than later he made it to the village gates and he was questioned as to where he was traveling to by the village. He knew that if he lied and said he was on a mission the gate guards could easily find out if this was a lie because they are informed of every expected exit from the village. So he did the only thing he could do he ran through the gates as the guards became suspicious of him. Of course this now made him a missing nin and within minutes a hunter-nin team was hot on his trail and catching up with him due to their specialization in tracking abilities. They ran quickly through the forest path that laid outside of the village. The green of the leaves on the trees became blured as he ran ever so quickly past them. Soon enough the whole forest scene turned into a blurred green and brown tunnel in his eyes. He was a rather fast boy for his age but he wasn't fast enough for this Hunter-nin team. Once they had caught up with him he was tackled and subdued so that they could enforce the standard Hunter-nin protocol. This protocol first required an interogation jutsu be used on the missing nin. They dug into his thoughts and saw his reasons for running and leaving the village. They considered returning him to the village but then found that he was a native of Konoha. And by a law created after the invasion of the masters Heki had the right to return to his village without disturbance. This law was created so that if the masters were ever defeated the refugees that had fled from the occupied villages could return to their homelands from wherever the now lived.
Knowing this the Hunter-nin set him free and allowed him to go back on his way. Once this happened Heki began walking towards his destination. After being freed Heki just followed the forest path till he came to somewhat of a larger road. This road led straight into the Fire country. Heki continued on this trail knowng that he could be in the Fire country by midnight. Although to Heki's misfourtune he was attacked by muggers on this trail, and stripped of his food and what little water he had. He attempted using one of the kunai he had bought. But because they were zipped up in a napsack he couldn't effectively and quickly get to them. He beat up unmercilessly and left there on the road.
After that night Heki had learned two things he should have learned in the in the Academy but because he skipped the experience to fight for Konoha he never learned them. He learned that weapons should always be kept at a place where they can be taken out quickly and he also learned that if you were traveling that you should survive off of what you find while you travel not off of what you brought with you. So awakening a few hours after the mugging he stood up. With bruises all over his body his lip was cut his left bicep was bruised all over, His left foot was likey broken from being stomped on, his face lay in ruins and he determined that he had a broken rib. After the diagnosis of his own body Heki limped over to a puddle on the side of the path to Konoha. He collapsed by it in tears from not only the pain but also his stupididty and his desire to return to the safety of Otogakure. He sipped up water from this puddle, and thought to himself about returning to Otogakure. Thats when he was found by a young woman most likey his age walking from Konoha it would seem. She immediately went to his aid. He pretended unconsiouness while she diagnosed his condition. After she had found every injury she ran back down the road. Hashirama saw this in the corner of his eye presuming she was going back to Konoha to get help. He thought of getting up and returning to Otogakure before she came but due to his condition he could no longer get up.
This girl returned with a duo of medics. They had brought a stretcher and then stuck him on it. Carrying him to the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Within a short time he found himself in what he presumed to be an apartment. His ribs were totally wrapped up in white bandage. his foot was casted. His lip was bandaged as well as any cuts or bruises on his body. His pain had nearly ceased and he stood up with barely any pain. He walked over to a nearby window in the place. He looked out and sighed a sigh of relief and he shed a tear of happiness. He was back home his village looked damaged and in need of help. This damage most likely from the newly ended war. He then felt a slight sensation pain in his ribs as a pair of arms wrapped around him then a soft feminie voice that he would never forget came about this voice said "I'm glad your ok I found you alone and hurt on the side of the road I thought you were dead" Heki said nothing back to her, and her arms released him she then said, "Not much of a talker are you" she paused for a moment with a little dissapointment in her voice now "That's fine as long as your ok". She then left him and went into another room. He continued looking out at Konoha glad to be back home. Now all that mattered was how was he going to stand up for the princess in the way he imagined and the way he imagined was epic battles for the throne.
With no other source of companionship he followed this new person into the other room. He asked "What's your name?". As he stepped into the room she quickly replied with " Hatake Kira of the Hatake clan!" "What's your name!? Heki replied " Uh Hyuuga Heki heir to the head of the Heki as well as next Hokage after Zephyr...well as long as the b*****d doens't die on me before I can get stronger. He said this with a bit of a tone. Kira became estatic and jumped up towards Heki gving him a good look over "Oh my god I saved the next Hokage!!" "Yeah I guess you did" Heki replied calmly. Kira then calmed herself for a moment looking as though she had instantaneously been lost in thought. While this happened Heki was able to finally give the girl a look over. She was rather attractive a slight tan and white hair the white hair most likely because of her Hatake blood. She wore a black mini-skirt as well as a tight white tank top. Her footwear consisted of standard Kunoichi footwear. Her white hair was controlled by a blue shinobi head band meaning sshe was a Gennin she used this headband to make a pony tail. She had a hefty load for breasts which Heki couldn't help but stare at until she sprang up with another excitment fill statement. "I've got to tell Daisuke who we've found. She ran out of the room into another room in the apartment. It now became apparent to Heki that the apartment was split in 3 rooms. The main room and two other bedrooms. Kira came back with a man with a slightly bigger build than Hashirama. He wore a white robe. A scar that stretched from his hairline to his jaw-line haunted his face he looked upon Hashirama with interest and asked him "Do you know any Jutsu Hyuuga? "Only the required Academy jutsu of Konoha" "Is that right?..." Daisuke said back with a little dissapointment in his voice. "Well you are truly the son of Hyuuga blood correct?" Daisuke continued. "Yes" Heki replied. Daisuke then said,"Well it shouldn't be to hard to teach you some useful jutsus to use in battle then. We'll go to the training ground in an hour". Heki was totally confused not only was he in terrible shape for a training session but he barely knew these people and they acted as though they were going to use him in battle. The number one thing that ringed in his head was What do the want me to fight for?. He looked to Kira after Daisuke had left back into his room. Heki then asked her "Is he serious!?" "Why wouldn't he be?" Kira replied with the utmost innocence "Oh I dunno maybe because I'm all banged up and should be resting not training" Heki said rather sarcastically. She looked to him and thought for a moment. Then without another word to him she grabed his hand and began power-walking towards the front door of the apartment dragging him behind. "Where are you taking me?" Heki asked. "I need to show you something" Kira replied. After that they went outside of the apartment door. Walking down the railing then onto a flight of stairs that lead down to brown dirt and little patches of grass. While Heki limped and stumbled as Kira dragged him along to their unknown destination. At this point Heki was getting a totally different view at Konoha then he had ever had up in the apartment. He saw that it wasn't just a little destroyed it was totally destroyed. The Konoha he had known as a child had changed. The crimson paint on nearly every roof and wall of the village was scraped off and destroyed. Entire buildings lay in ruin. The warm hearted and kind faces of the people of Konoha had now turned old and withered. Not only was Konoha destroyed by war but the times it's peoples strong hope in the military providing safety to them and the peoples prosperous times were long over. The Konoha he had known as a child was filled with times of festivals and happiness in life. The Konoha he saw now was the total opposite. This was all because Konoha had never known war on it's own land and the peaceful people of the village were devastated by it when it finally came. Kira and Heki finally stopped at a marketplace. Heki saw the food stands that had once always been filled with fruit and other foods were now barely making it. He found this out by noticing the decimated wood and the weak hungry faces of the people in the marketplace. When Heki was a child you could only see a marketplace as poor as this in Kusagakure or Amegakure or Otogakure, but times had changed the Fire master's ruthless attack on the civilians of the Fire country had changed times so drastically it now seemed Konoha would never return to its former glory. Just by the look of the once prosperous marketplace Heki knew that the expenses that had to be payed for to wage war against the fire master had nearly bankrupt his homeland. It took a strong tug on his heart. He could feel that he was going to cry. He could feel that he was going to cry tears for his war torn homeland which he loved so much. "This is why we need you" Kira paused for a moment then continued "We need you to train and get stronger so that you can help us to bring down the new Feudal Lord so things around here don't get worse" Heki began to wail "How could things possibly get worse here!!" Kira looked to him for a moment and Heki saw the truth in her eyes. " Daisuke thinks that the new Feudal lord is an imperialist and that he's going to invade the other countries." Something like that would bankrupt our country...Our people would starve and poverty will grip the land even worse then this. Kira said that with the most seriousness in her voice. Soon after the eye-opening experience Heki was on the training grounds with Daisuke before him and Kira a few yards to the side sitting down on the ground watching him. Heki stood before Daisuke and waited for him to start the training. Heki stood uncomfartably due to the fact that his foot was still healing from the mugging. Daisuke then began to look rather proud as he pulled out a withered scroll. Daisuke then threw this scroll on the ground ,and the hit too the ground unrolled the scroll. "This scroll right here holds the Hyuuga clan taijutsu" Daisuke paused then continued "Don't even ask how I got it". Heki knew how he had obtained this scroll from the second he spoke of it's contents. A scroll that held the Hyuuga clan bloodline jutsu could only be found in the Hyuuga clan compound. And the only way it could be taken from the compound is if it was stolen. Heki didn't confront Daisuke about it as to not cause problems in the training session. Even if the scroll was stolen it was in Daisuke's possession now and the other countries had bigger things to handle right now then buying a jutsu scroll holding the Hyuuga clan jutsu from him. So Heki's thinking was that this stolen scroll would do more good then harm if it taught him jutsu. The first and number one jutsu on the scroll was Juuken Kempo Ryuu. These jutsu were already in Heki's blood he knew them by heart and soul. This taijutsu style Juuken kempo Ryuu went naturally to him as he attempted it. He didn't master it the first day nor did he master it the next it had taken him seven days of training till he could finally say that he mastered the Hyuuga clan Taijutsu style Juuken kempo Ryuu. After the seventh day of training and after Daisuke said that Heki mastered Gouwan. Heki took a break with Kira out on the village. Heki's bruises and cuts were nearly all gone as well as his foot was getting much better. In the time he spent with Kira he spent most of it at Konoha's famous ramen shop. She looked ever more attractive in the street light of Konoha. They shared flirtatious words with eachother at the Ramen shop under the light of the stars and the the light of the Konoha night lights. Till it was near closing time for the shop. Maybe it was just the fact that they were young and unsupervised but Heki actually began to have feelings for this girl, but when they had arrived home and shared a goodnight kiss Heki felt that he was doing the wrong thing. The reason for this was the fact that he had found out from talking to Kira that night that Daisuke was Kira's legal guardian and Daisuke was also becoming Heki's sensei. If Heki did anything here it could easily destroy the two relationships. And training to become a stronger Shinobi was infinitely more important to Heki then a wild lustful moment with this girl. After the good night kiss Heki said nothing else to Kira and prepared for sleep in the main room/ living room of the apartment. After that night they were back to training. Within a month Hashirama had mastered more Hyuuga jutsu and was becoming a legitimate threat. He had learned Hakke Kuushou .After that month it took him near another full month to learn Hakke Rokujuuyonshou. After that heki went on to learn Hakkeshou Kaiten . It was at this point that Daisuke began to speak more with Heki. Heki was finally invited into Daisuke's room this room contained hundreds of blueprints and sheets of plans all of which strewn across the entire room. They sat down at a round table in the room which was also covered in blue prints. He began to speak with him about what he thought of the new Fire Daimyo and the princess. Obviously Heki supported the princess but Daisuke was rather paranoid and needed to make sure Heki's loyalties reigned with the princess. Although his paranoia wasn't all that bad because Heki, Daisuke, and Kira were about to do something that could leave all three of them dead if Hashirama turned out to be a traitor. After Hashirama had mastered three of the Hyuuga clan jutsu Daisuke began telling him more and more about his ideas and thoughts about the new Fire Daimyo. In summary Daisuke was not happy about the takeover of the throne of the Fire country. Daisuke believed that the New Fire Daimyo needed to be killed and that the Princess should be put in her rightful place on the throne of the fire country. But Daisuke knew that the fire daimyo was far to well protected to asssasinate him with just Heki and Kira. He also had suspicions that the Fire daimyo would invade the other big countries. So with these suspicions and Hashirama and Kira by his side. Daisuke planned to sabotage and spy on the baracks of the Fire Daimyo's forces. Daisuke planned to put this plan in action within a week. But he needed supplies to sabotage the barracks he also needed rations for the trio to survive on while they spied on the barracks. Soon after telling Heki the plan Daisuke went out to begin collecting supplies saying that he would be out for the rest of the day. After Daisuke had left Heki thought to himself about his part in Daisuke's plan. He knew he would be the one doing all of the fighting if anything happened on this mission it gave him chills to have the lives of two other people in his hands. As he thought and stressed about the mission at hand the same arms that had hugged him when he first came to this place and met Daisuke and Kira gripped him once more. Kira's lips lay next to Heki's ears "Did Daisuke tell you the plan?" she whispered
"Yes" Heki replied. He noticed that Kira had a much sadder and calmer tone of voice it concerned him. "I'm scared" Kira said to Heki with a little quiver in her voice. "I am too" Hashirama replied calmly. He expected a quick response from Kira but when he didn't get one he turned his head and looked at her face. Her face had tears running down it's cheeks her white hair stuck to cheeks in which had tears running down them. Heki knew that the fact that she would be in such danger concerned her. He hugged her putting his arms on her back and she hugged him back ever so tightly. "I love you" Kira said to him. Heki was slightly surprised by these words, but he knew she was only saying them because she thought she was going to die. "No you don't your just saying that" Heki said back to her. "No I really do love you!" "I love that you've stayed with us for so long" "I love that you came here to fight for your country" "I love you Heki! Kira began to cry so much more. And she hugged him more tightly then ever before. Heki saw it now Kira truly believed that she was going to die in a week when the plan came into action. He couldn't deny her happiness while she was thinking that so he said back to her "I love you too..." He did have feelings for Kira she tended to his wounds when he was going to die on the side of the road and she showed him the truth of modern day Konoha she was also beautiful, but he couldn't say truthfully that he loved her. He only said it to comfort her. Now Kira gripped even more tightly to him and said "I don't want to die a virgin". It was very possible that they could die in a week and he too was a virgin and he couldn't deny a girl he had known for so long a request like the one she was about to ask. "Before we go on that mission in a week I want to lose my virginity and I want it to be you" as said before he couldn't deny her that, but before he could respond she struck a kiss to his lips and the sensation of her plump lips ontop of his own totally changed his mood. He withdrew one of his arms from their hugging position and put it to her legs. He then lifted her up and carried her to her bedroom from Daisuke's room. One thing led to another and by the end of the night both Heki and Kira had lost their innocence. The next day as Heki awoke with his shirt thrown some where across the room next to the young girl he had given himself too he thought for a moment thinking that she could truly be the person he wanted to spend the rest of his days with. He watched as she slept totally different from the way she was last night. She was calmer now and she had what seemed to be a smile on her face as she slept. Heki smiled as well when he saw it. He got up out of bed and out of her room and into the kitchen where he splashed his face with sink water. After this he went into Daisuke's room only to find him looking at plans and blueprints. Heki was not expecting him to even be in the apartment his heart started racing as he hoped Daisuke had not seen him next to Kira on her bed. Before Heki could even say anything Daisuke called him to the round table in the middle of his room. "Look at these maps of the Fire Daimyo's fortress the barracks are inside and those walls are impenetrable we'll have to spy on the gates for a little while to see any patterns and habits we can use to our advantage to someday break into the fortres." "So what I'm trying to say is we have a change of plans we won't be spying on the barracks we'll be spying on the gates this time is that understood". Daisuke said calmly to Heki, and Heki nodded to Daisuke to let him know he understood the plan. Heki nodded with no excitement but inside he was very excited this meant the danger level of this mission had just dratically decreased he couldn't wait to tell Kira. A few hours later after that morning when Kira had awoken he told her the news and she shed tears of joy the moment those words came out of his mouth. She kissed him and he kissed her back this news meant that there was now nothing in the way of their new love they were so happy to begin life without the fear of death together. When the day of the mission had finally arrived the trio spent the most part of the day in Daisuke's room preparing with camoflauge and preparing rations as well as weapons. Their general espionage attire consisted of green napsacks and black shinobi/kunoichi sandals, but more specifically Heki wore a black muscle shirt with a green napsack black shinobi sandals and his skin was covered in green paint for caomflauge. Kira wore her everyday attire the only thing different was that her skin was covered in green pain. Daisuke chose to go with his everyday attire as well but with no green paint on his skin. After that they went off into the night on a mission to save the world. When they had arrived to the fortress they kept their distance as to not be seen by the sentries. Every hour or so Daisuke would log the events that happened in the past hour as Heki and Kira sat and waited for the mission to be over. When it came near morning and they were about to leave an arrow came down at their position. A patrol around the fortress had spotted them from a 100 yards away. Daiuke yelled "Heki put up a shield!" and so with his Byakugan abilities Heki yelled
"Hakkeshou Kaiten !" With a few handsigns and a sacrifice of chakra a large half dome appeared around the trio temporarily defending them against any other incomiong arrows or attacks. It was at that point that Daisuke yelled "Run!" and so they did but it wouldn't be that easy to escape. The patrol also had mercenary shinobi in it's ranks and with their jutsu they cast enourmus boulders at the trio these boulders crashed all around them blocking all routes of escape. They were trapped and speechless. Then suddenly another boulder came crashing down this one to close for comfort. It knocked Daisuke and Heki over into the brown dirt under their feet. This boulder kicked up a considerable amount of dirt leaving Daisuke and Heki in a daze. It was then the that Heki notcied something was wrong he hadn't heard Kira since the boulders struck it put him into a panic. He screamed her name hoping for a response but he didn't get any. When the kicked up dirt had cleared he saw a hand coming out from under a boulder. It was then that he realized where Kira was. He attempted to push the boulder but it was too much for him. "No!" he yelled in a surge of anger and sorrow. Daisuke yelled at him saying, "Shut up you idiot ! they'll hear us!" Those words which had no consideration for Kira's death made Heki go crazy he went at Daisuke with Juuken Kempo Ryuu strike to the chest with no intention of killing him just hurting him. But what Hashirama didn't know was that he had broken Daisuke's rib cage with the strike and now his broken ribs pierced his heart in multiple places. This caused Daisuke to gurgle blood it was then that Heki realized what he had done but he was too angry and sad to care that he was now alone against this Fire Daimyo patrol. The patrol eventually caught up with Hashirama because he was trapped by the boulders. They took him captive and left the dead bodies of Kira and Daisuke to rot. Heki was fully ready to die without Kira in his life any longer, but before they had even gotten close to the fortress which is where they were taking him a meber of the patrol said "my boulder shooting jutsu really worked huh?" he joked with another member with the patrol. Heki's rage spiked again. He tore his arms away from his captors as they draged him on his back he struck his two captors in their legs with two Juuken kempo Ryuu strikes, and ran off. Eventually escaping back into the village.

Chapter Two:

After the deaths of Kira and Daisuke Heki had multiple bouts of depression and thoughts of suicide. While this period of his life occured. The countries were invaded by the Fire daimyo. Realizing that if he could somehow help the invaded countries he could avenge Kira's death. So that's what he set out to do. He escaped Konoha into Otogakure the only true safe place in the world nowadays so that he could attempt to meet the Otokage to make plans with the Otokage about rescue missions to the devestated countries as well as plans for invasion of the occcupied countries.

After those last word Ryuuku stopped reading due to the fact the rest of the pages were torn out. He placed th book back on it's shelf in the bookcase. He then went back to his position on the hardwood floor to rest his body for another training session.

Hedoro looked around, unable to remember just why she had chosen to come here. There had been a reason, she was sure of it. But actually remembering that reason seemed impossible. Never one to dwell on such matters, she simply shrugged, an action that was quite different for a slime than a human, before turning and leaving. Maybe if she went somewhere else, she'd remember what she was going to do here? Some people left behind their heart, she left something else.

Akai Kaguya chuckles as he casually walks into his home village. It had been quite a while since he had been here, and yet everything seemed to not have changed anymore then it had before this. His ice cold gray eyes slowly scanned over the area, before he tugged on the long flowing black cloak, pulling it back up over his shoulders with ease. The multitude of weapons he possessed were no where to be seen at the moment, although an odd crescent shaped blade in a colorfully made sheath hung at his hip, even after it was partially shrouded with the long flowing cloth of his Angra Mainyu cloak. Akai was mainly curious as to whether he would meet anyone in this place today, normally there was never a real reason to be someplace unless he met someone of interest, he hadn't killed in a while. Perhaps some pray would come wandering into his village and be skillful enough for him to decide they were worthy of his attempts at a kill. Turning his gray eyes back onto the entrance to the village as he walked, he failed to see anyone on the path heading towards his village, it seems for the moment his hopes of a decent battle were becoming only just that, yet another failed hope.

Scion & Lucifer's Chimera Waijenxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════

xxxxxxWaijen hadn't been there long and would soon be noticed watching Akai from farther down the path. He had come with his masters but wound up straying form them as usual. He really needed to work on that. His body, practically made of shadows it was so dark, shifts along the path to draw a bit closer to Akai. He knew of the mans name and a bit about his power. And at the same time he knew nothing. Simply approaching probably wasn't the wises thing to do. Not yet anyway. Despite its humanoid form and its eyes, the figure has no face and is hunched over slightly like it is part beast. Beneath the Chimera's skin are small mounds though what they might be are unknown.

xxxxxxHe seems to be wearing clothing though it is more so a cloak and pants. The designs can faintly be seen when in the fading sunlight--day slowly becoming night now but enough to examine them. Bare foot, the creature claws at the ground with their feet and clench their fists absentmindedly. Waijen finally begins to speak, no mouth moving as it does, "Scary, scary. This guy gives off a scary aura. His chakra surge is really starting to make it hard to breathe." Waijen pauses with a smirk before going on. "Wonder if..." He trails off as he slowly tries examining Akai with his glowing, yellow eyes. "Don't get me wrong. I feel something but not fear. Intimidated maybe?" The liquid black creature pauses and slowly tilts his head to the side as if listening closely to something. "Be scared. I'm not going to turn tail and run from nothing but this guys aura." Waijen snorts before straightening up his head and facing forward.

[Que the assorted clone or Substitution jutsu~ Lawl.]
Akai's gaze would soon turn around in order to latch onto the foreign shinobi that was walking alone into his lands. By the shadow black appearance, he may have mistaken them for an ally, but there was one major difference that he noticed right from the first time he had sensed this being. Fear, and it was sickening how much fear was wreaking from the body of this character. Akai wouldn't simply stand by and allow such a character to walk the earth in such a way, it was downright disappointing to the very world of the Shinobi. Before he had even given his opponent a second chance, he launched himself forwards. The very speed he harbored was a danger in itself, moving with the use of a highly toned muscular structure from the intense training, and the over all adaptive ability of his clan. A twisted grin had already formed across his lips, as the Action technique had been put under play. The instant he was before the opponent, the temperature appeared to drop considerably, somewhat to the temperature that would cause even the human body to begin to freeze over, thankfully for most this particular power prevented the human body itself to freeze over, but the height of the low temperature would cause an instant spine chilling effect, and even make the opponent begin to be covered in ice should they be sweating or have any other bodily liquids on them. The ground all around them was already freezing over and icing up with a bright blue frost that was turning into a thin sheet of ice which cracked under Akai's feet as he appeared where he was with the use of his Action technique leading to a fast series of specific strikes. Five fast paced strikes coming out of almost literally no where, as Akai was before the male in an instant. The first strike bringing a single palm strike to the left shoulder, as the right arm would come around in order to strike with a palm based hit right across the side of the head. With the second attack moving fluently through the third was already on it's way before the connection, claw like fingers curving upwards, as his wrist twists and he turns his fingers into a blade like stance, and then bending his fingers. The attack aiming for a piercing strike just below where the rib cage and the sternum connect, the hook being used should the hand sink into flesh, it would actually grab the opponent by the sternum itself, of course the fingers would only sink in as far as claw and the intermediate phalanges. From the third attack came the forth, a simple back hand strike to the face with an enclosed fist, the final strike would come just as the previous attack would be following through, his left knee shooting upwards directly for the opponent's pelvic area, not entirely their groin, but just above in order to allow the strike to slide up into the stomach and knock the wind from their body as well. A decent fast paced combo thanks to the use of the Action technique, Akai of course wasn't finished there, not by far. His entire body shifted as he fell into a ready stance, his purpose being to catch the opponent as they recovered from the original attack, a single pointer finger from his left hand, which was already directed in the opponent's direction would release a small blast of chakra, this chakra blast would simply be enough to burn the opponent from the sheer power, and throw them backwards from the force itself. The use of Channel in a close range situation. Still grinning, Akai would kneel down slightly, his gaze locked on the opponent's body as his hands lock together in order to appear as if he was preparing to make hand signs in order to continue the fight where he had left off by knocking away his opponent in such a manner like he may have done moments before.

Techniques
Current Passives::
Cold as Ice
A passive technique, that is actually involved in both his blood, and chakra network. His body's veins and arteries are so cold, that they are almost like that of Liquid Nitrogen, in theory. This allows for when he is cut, the can be frozen so as to prevent the loss of blood, in less Akai permits such a loss. Due to this technique, Akai gains the ability to become resistant to almost all cold based techniques. [IE:: Ice and water] This technique slowly gains strength, as he gains strength. When Akai furthers on in strength, his chakra network become ice cold, causing a freezing effect to surround him, depending on the amount of chakra he uses for techniques. With the immunity, comes a sort of merging capability at the highest level. Akai would be able to pass into, and through Ice or Snow, as if it were not there to him. This technique also prevents the use of Ice Seals against him, upon reaching the highest level.

Cryokinesis
This passive technique is the ability to slow molecules to allow for the object of Akai's desire to slow down it's molecules, and reach the point of freezing. Though this is not the full effect. This technqiue actually allows for Akai to have an almost protective area of spread, where his technique may work into effect. The closer someone were to get within, they would feel as though they were slowing down, and freezing over. This being due to the properties of the technique, that would also make them colder and cause frost to cover them a little. The second ability of this technique, it to actually cause most fire based jutsu to slowly become cold. Making their molecules slow and cause them to slowly just either die out, or turn to ice. A decent defensive technique for an Ice and Wind based user like that of Akai. The technique stretches for exactly 16 feet around Akai, and no further.

Sub-Zero Degrees
This technique is simply a modifier to the use of Akais ice based abilities. It actually allows for his ice, snow and water attacks to be at such a temperature, that they freeze things upon contact. Allowing for Akai to cause a greater deal of harm to his opponents, as well as strengthen his attacks so they can not be stopped so easily. Although this technique is constant, it can not be used to freeze someone solid automatically. Instead, once someone is to be killed by Akai. Their bodies are frozen solid, either preserving them, or making it easier for them to be destroyed and resist the theft of the body. For the most part, the enhancement through cold temperature, makes them to be around -500º. Although it can not effect the opponent as such, meaning that the opponent may become much colder when in an ice based environment, but they will not be able to actually freeze completely, unless they are defeated or killed.
