"One would think that, but I guess his douchbaggery knows no bounds." Amaya frowned, leaning forward to see the laptop. With a single claw she scrolls down, skimming the information with green eyes. "... I see. That I can relate to." She sat back, the frown still there. "Are you cold-blooded yet?"

Joliette shrugged "I don't know" she mused leaning on an elbow as Amaya looked at the screen. "I desire the one thing I swore I'd never again eat though"

"I wish we could have been switched... at least then you could eat all the greens you wanted and I could eat all the meat I wanted." Amaya scowled, pushing the laptop back to her. "They did it just to spite you, probably... Greer was a vegan too and now she has to eat meat."

"I think the git did it cause I rejected his 'immunization' that plus being vegan..." she closed the top to her laptop no longer hungry "Switched places would be nice though... the meat makes me very nautious" she pulled everything into a pile again "I wouldn't mind an all greens diet... looks like the Komodo wont even eat the vegetable matter another creature has eatten when it eats it's prey"

"Yeah..." Amaya sighed, unable to think of anything else to say. After finishing her salad and candied fruit she stood up. "Well, I need to get out of this air conditioning... come by my duplex if you wanna talk okay?" With a forced smile she gathered up her things rather awkwardly and nodded to Joliette. After bussing her tray she was gone.

"Okay, have a good day Amaya" she said to the departing figure and then resigned to getting herself a salad with ham pieces and doused in ranch dressing and returning to the table to sit and eat

Previous RP was finished over AIM, this is a new RP.

Thankfully, there had been time to change as well, and Antony was in her usual black pants, boots, and tight 'beater. Her hair was a little more orderly thanks to a quick dab and rub through of gel she pushed through it on the way back out.

Pushing the cafeteria door open to find it empty, her lopsided grin returned as she scanned the area. "Man, I haven't eaten in something like this since college..."

Chana, who had been following Antony quietly, snorted. "The food here trumps any college food I've ever had," she told the other woman, and headed straight for the lotkes that were still there. And still warm, she discovered to her delight. Today was a lotke and applesauce day, Chana had decided, and filled her plate accordingly.

Glancing at the food that was out, Antony soon moved to where all the fresh fruit was, opening her near empty messenger bag and shovelling as much variety into it as possible. "I snack on fruit a lot," she explained, even though she really didn't have to, it was all free anyways.

Picking up a plate, she considered all that was there before filling it with a large salid and some ham. She was a sucker for raw fruits and veggies.

"The food's all here to be eaten...no one cared when I took a bunch up to my duplex," she commented in between mouthfuls. Thank goodness whoever made the lotkes knew what they were doing. Even so, Chana ate a bit faster than she usually did, eager to get out before anyone else came in.

Watching the other girl nearly inhale her food, Antony put down her fork and raised an eyebrow. "Where's the fire?" She had no clue why Chana'd be eating at such a speed when there was no threat of being kicked out, or ...tsunami.

Chana stopped long enough to answer the question. "I'm getting out of here before anyone strange shows up. And you'll know what I mean soon enough," she added, turning back to her lotkes. She was fairly certain that the strange people outnumbered the normal...or maybe that was the paranoia talking.

"Well darling, 'strange' is quite a broad term," she narrowed her eyes slightly, wondering where the sudden change of demeanor had come from. Chana hadn't been quick to skirt away from -her-, so who the hell was weirder than herself?

And why wouldn't she just be honest about these 'strange' people? Everything'd be so much better if everyone told the god damn truth instead of speaking vaguely and providing useless half-truths.

The food on her plate was forgotten for the moment.

Chana finished her food and got up to clear her plate. "You'd think I was high if I told you...and frankly, I'd think I was high. Screw Shakespeare's "there's more things in heaven and earth" 'cause I can only explain it as it looks like someone's trying to play G-d around here." She spoke quickly as she dumped plate and silverware in the proper receptacles, clearly eager to get away before any of the strange people showed up.

Her explanation didn't clear much up, and it instead served to confuse her even more. Likewise, she became quite... irritated.

"What the ******** are you talking about? How can someone ******** play a nonexistant God anyways?! It's a ******** ISLAND RESORT!" Antony's voice got a little louder, and she stood up from where she had previously been sitting, one hand gripping her hip while the other motioned angrily towards Chana, fork still in hand. SHE hadn't seen any of these 'strange' people yet, and that either meaned that Chana was full of s**t or Antony didn't see them as 'strange.'

The option that Antony hadn't seen these people yet was simply tossed aside for now.
