Rosalie didn't look at him as he spoke. She brought the teddy bear home and was now considering throwing it at him and giving back all the presents. Her heart felt like it was ripped in two. The coldness in his tone and the way he spoke chilled her more than the fridged air. "As you wish..." she said gently before shrugging off her jacket and continuing to walk forward. She was trembling slightly, wondering how he could have changed his mind so quickly.

While she walked away a tear slid off his thin face and steamed the snow on the ground. He didn't want her to go, he still wanted her help and wanted her to stay by him to make all this easier. But maybe he didn't want the help, maybe he could get away with not eating. Mitch didn't want that either. He wanted her to be happy, which meant she would have to live without him. Mitch knew he couldn't make her happy right now, it was best she find a better man or wait until he could finally say to her, that he was better.
Had he ever been ok though? Throughout his life he doubted there was one time in which he could say he was alright. The man lifted his head to the sky to stare at the falling snow and the blinding white. Without his glasses the snow got into his eyes, more tears came and the snow made it seem like he was simply getting wet.
'Maybe now she can...' he thought and finished the last of his thoughts that were hidden secret from the world.
'I must like contradicting myself. I change my mind seamingly all the time.'

Rosalie started running after a moment as she tried desperately not to cry. She almost slipped a few times and when she was out of his sight she burst out in tears, seemingly hysterical. Her house wasn't far away but she would take her time getting there so she could think over what had happened.
How could he? He said he loved her. It was about this time that Kaori had come back from her trip and she was out shopping for groceries. When she saw Rosalie she was shocked and ran to her. Upon getting the explination she frowned and began to guide Rosalie towards her (kaori's) own house.

Mitch went inside and went up to his room, Andy smiled and said hello but the only thing he got out of Mitch was a closed door. The young man ran into his crawl space and into the little storage room he always used to hide in when he was sad, mad, or in a panic.
"Mitch?"Andy knocked on the door but got no answer.

Upon reaching the house Kaori immediately sat Rosalie down on the couch with a blanket. She went about the kitchen to prepare some hot tea and get some chocolate. She picked up the phone then, immediately dialing the Haru house, hoping she'd get Andy to answer it.

After a while of no answer from Mitch, Andy contemplated breaking the door down. After all, with the fact Cast was a panicy pill popper (or used to be) and Shiva with all her sneaking out and her "hippy faze", Kyoya with his...well Andy couldn't think of one for Kyoya; and now with Mitch, his oldest son had always been one to stay strong but when alone he did stupid things or got depressed or whatever. He just didn't trust his kids when they acted like this. Hell, Cast was still clonking out at random times! Andy just couldn't let Mitch stay in his room silent. It freaked him out.
Andy sighed when he heard the phone and went downstairs, picked it up, and said, "Andy Haru, who may I ask is calling?"

"It's Kaori," the aforementioned person said. "What exactly did Mitch do to Rosalie? She's in complete hysterics and I can't get her to calm down."
There was a venomous tone in her voice though she didn't mean it. Rosalie was almost like a daughter to her at this point, that is in the way she doted on her so frequently. She was about ready to cry for Rosalie at this point, for the ache of loss that she felt.
She proceeded to tell Andy what happened after that, not really letting him speak, and found herself also in hysterics when she had finished.

"That...doesn't make sense...Mitch loves Rosalie more than anyone. Even his family. I can't think of anything or anyone that he loves more than her. It doesn't make sense that he would just crush her like that...I'll try and get some things out of him. Just take care of Rosalie, we'll have to figure this out,"he said softly, "Kaori...tell Rosalie I'm sorry. I'm sorry to you to, I figure this is a bit my fault to. Sorry." he said blaming himself for Mitch's actions.
"MITCH GET DOWN HERE!"he called and pulled the phone away from his mouth so as not to hurt Kaori's ears.

Mitch heard his fathers yell and hesitantly left his domain and creeped down the stairs, "..." he didn't speak, just stood there.
"Kaori,"said Andy, "I'm gunna let you go now. I'll call back if I figure anything out."

"Thank you so much," Kaori said, a slight waver in her voice. She had the same fear tat this would happen to her again and after hanging up the phone she went over to Rosalie with a steaming cup of tea.
"It's okay," she said softly as she gently rubbed the girl's back. Rosalie herself leaned into Kaori, continuing to sob with the inability to stop at all. She began to slow after a time and her breathing became shallow and it was now that she had fallen asleep.

"Yes...your welcome." Andy smiled faintly though she couldn't see it and hung up.
"Mitch...explain to me what happend."he ordered. Mitch just stood there silently and so did Andy, "...I'll tell you when I'm ready, bare with me...wait a while."he stated and left back to his room and to the crawl space into the spare room. Andy just stood there surprised.

When Rosalie had fallen asleep Kaori picked the phone up. She'd gotten acquainted with Shiva for the most part and they needed a 'girl's night' for once. She dialed the phone number for Shiva's place and waited for an answer.

"Shiva, QUIET WHEN MOMMYS ON THE PHONE!" she snapped, "sorry dear..."said her husband who was playing with the kids and being loud himself.
"...Eric...shhh."she rolled her eyes, "who may I ask is calling?"

"Ah this is Kaori..." aforementioned person said. "We have a problem with Rosalie and I think this may call for a girl's night with chick flicks." She didn't feel like explaining everything at the present moment and they could easily explain if Shiva came over.

"Well I was thinking tonight, if at all possible," she said in a slightly uneasy tone. "Rosalie's asleep right now but she'll be a total wreck when she wakes up and I don't know if I can handle her alone." She let out a slight sigh after that as she watched Rosalie stir in her sleep.
