Ghost-it Notes Vice Captain

Sil was, to say the least, a little groggy around the edges now. She wasn’t exactly sure what time it was for a good portion of her late night-early morning, especially with no daylight indications in the deeper levels of the laboratories with no outward facing windows. As she moved out into the hallways from the dark rooms, her pupils constricted with considerable strain and speed, causing her to squint her chocolate eyes and blink a few times to adjust. When the sky was often overcast and dreary as England tended to be, it was always difficult to gauge the time even when she could see the sky. Regardless, it was time for a refill of coffee to wake her mind back up. She could sleep in the afternoon when things were busiest.
She headed towards the kitchen assuming that no one would be inside, her steps slow and deliberate in no particular rush that morning. With a little kick she pushed open the swinging kitchen door, her face going blank at the sight of the room full of people. “Holy s**t. What time is it?” The young woman stated dumbly, glancing at her wrist to the watch that wasn’t there. The green shards of Innocence merely glowed back at her, seeming to undulate with laughter. Out of all the individuals in the room she noted Lavi first and not just because of his bias; he was easiest to see and it frankly shocked her to see him out of bed at this hour... whatever hour it was. "Did hell freeze over? I don't think I've ever seen you up this early."
She caught the sight of Chaoe and Kanda as well, giving the two a little wave, silently pleased to see Chaoe spending time with the young man she had taken such a shine to. Her and Kanda had never quite been friends exactly, but if the young girl seemed to like the pretty man so much there must have been something valuable hidden beneath his icy exterior. "Why if it isn't the two prettiest Exorcists in the Order~" Sil teased, giving Chaoe a compliment while simultaneously teasing Kanda a little bit. The likelihood of her dying in the next five minutes probably tripled, but if she could get even a little smile out of Chaoe it would be worth it.

Liv smiled softly at Mishka as he leaned in to give her the secret of coffee, "I might just have to try that."
She gave Lavi a thumbs-up to signal she had heard his request before turning back around. She placed a mug of coffee in front of Mishka, also setting the condiments, not knowing how much sugar or cream, if any, that he would like. She puzzled for a moment over whether they had any hazelnut, and started looking for it. It took her a couple minutes, but she found a small bottle and handed it to him with a smile. Retrieving a bowl from one of the lower cabinets she started to mix up a batch of blueberry pancakes. She paused though, remembering that she told Mishka he could be allowed to help.
"Would you stir this for me, please?" she asked nicely, setting the bowl near his stretch of counter top.
When Kanda and Chaoe entered the room she got a mischievous look in her eye, "Good morning, Yuuuuuu~" she stretched out his first name, "Oh and little Chaoe! Good morning, sweetheart!"
Upon overhearing the conversation between Lavi and Chaoe she raised an eyebrow, "She spent the night with you?" her question was directed at Kanda.
"SIL!" she shrieked a little, distracted from the others, "Oh it's been ages!" she trotted over and gave the young woman a hearty hug.
She called Mishka's attention and introduced the three new-comers, "Mishka, this is Yu Kanda, little Chaoe, and Silvia Mirabelli. They're all Exorcists here, too. Everyone, this is Mishka. He's a doctor in training."

He waved very unenthusiastically at Lavi, taking another sip from his tea. When Chaoe gave the cereal a questioning look, his mouth hung open for a moment before he replied with a little irritation to his voice.
"It's cereal. Haven't you ever had it before? Just eat i--" he stopped short when Chaoe blurted out the fact that they had spent the night in the same room.
He wasn't sure who to snap at first. Chaoe making it sound like something it wasn't, Sil's teasing comment, or Liv's question that told him she had obviously taken it the wrong way.
"Don't go saying things like that, idiot!" he got defensive, "I was teaching you and you fell asleep. It was easier to put you in my bed instead of carry you to your own room. I slept on the floor."
He chose to ignore Sil's jab, too worked up to even bother dignifying a response. He started to get an obvious twitch on his face as he took a larger sip of his tea.

With the sudden influx of people, Mishka couldn't help but feel a rush of joy getting an opportunity to meet so many of the Exorcists all at once. It didn't surprise him even remotely that Liv was so friendly with all of them, though when she mentioned the little girl being an Exorcist his face paled a little bit. She didn't look like she was much over the age of ten; he couldn't imagine such a little one out on the field attacking with the others who all at least seemed to be in their late teens and early twenties.
"Good morning everyone!" Mishka said jovially now to the others, and even though he had been momentarily distracted by the new comers, when Liv asked him to start stirring he obliged. "I never thought. Kitchen is like Exorcist bee-hive. I never have seen so many in one place! And such... family-relationship. Fight just like brothers and sisters..." He chuckled quietly, seeming rather entertained by the round exchange that had just taken place.
As he stirred, he started to pour a few cups of coffee. For Liv, he added milk and sugar to one, enough to make the dark brown turn a light, creamy color and pinched some hazelnut into it. It took him a minute to find a spoon, but once he had stirred it he slid it over to her with a soft smile. "Sweet coffee for sweet girl. If you do not like, I will not be offended."

Liv was a little surprised when she found a mug of coffee being handed to her. She smiled at his thoughtfulness though, and took it from him graciously, "Oh, you didn't have to do that. Thank you," she took a small sip and made a little pleased noise, "Oooh, that is better. Sweet coffee from a sweet friend," she teased him a little for how he always gave such nice compliments. She found them very enjoyable though, and quite endearing. She was constantly reminded of what a sweet-natured man he was.
"I'm sure that's exactly what happened, Yuuu," she caught his disgruntled defense but smiled, knowing that what he said had to be true.

When Sil walked into the kitchen Chaoe smiled and waved back. Her face heated up at the compliment, she pouted in embarassment. "S-sil.."
Chaoe looked over at Liv and smiled, "Morning Liv." Her smile faltered a bit, becoming a bit confused as to why the fact that she stayed in Kanda's room was a big deal.
When she was introduced to Mishka she gave him a shy smile, "Hello."
Her eyes widened a bit at Kanda before she looked down at her lap, a guilty look on her face. "Sorry Yu-nii.."

"You... what?" Lavi stared dumbfoundly at Chaoe when she answered, directing his gaze at Kanda when Liv posed the question he'd had been wanting to ask himself. When the long-haired man got defensive, Lavi chuckled a little. He hadn't really thought anything bad, mostly surprised by the fact that he allowed her to sleep in his room, or allowed him in his room at all, even though he had become a lot more open to all of them. "So, did you beat him?" He faced Chaoe again with an amused smile.
At the sound of Sil's voice behind him, he twisted around in his chair again. "Hey, it's hard to sleep on an empty stomach." He whined, but it probably didn't have much of an effect with the bright smile plastered on his face. His eye trailed along her face, noticing the tell-tale eyes of a person who was only staying awake on a gallon of coffee and he frowned a little. "And it seems you haven't even slept at all." He wasn't very happy with her frequent late-night working, concerned she wouldn't get enough sleep.

"...Don't look like that," he watched Chaoe's face and the guilty look that always made him so uncomfortable.

(Yo Juno)
She fiddled with a strand of hair awkwardly before answering Lavi, "No, but i've learned a lot. I never knew such a game existed, it was exciting."
"Sorry." She tried to smile, but it came out a little pained. She looked back down at the cereal. "So..it's called cereal? I never saw it before, let alone ate it." She poked at it a bit with a spoon.

Sil nearly jumped out of her skin at Liv's girlish shrieking, and as Liv nearly slammed into her she gave the girl an awkward hug back. "Liv! I wasn't even sure you still lived here!" Her tone was joking and affectionate, though it did cross her mind that Liv might have gone back to her dreaded old home when Sil had not seen her for a while.
When Kanda didn't respond to her teasing, Sil couldn't help the slightly smug smile that tugged at her lips, feeling she won a personal victory against him. However, she was quickly distracted by the man she had just been introduced to, and once she had peeled out of Liv's vice grip she moved over to offer a hand to the young man in a handshake.
The young man looked perplexed for a moment by the handshake, especially coming from such a petite young woman, and he turned her hand to kiss it gently in greeting. "Pleasure to meet you, Miss Silvia."
"Nice to meet you too, Mishka," Sil said, and despite her utter lack of social filter on most occasions, with such a greeting a bit of color came to her tanned cheeks. Her dark eyebrow arched as she glanced at Liv, giving her a look that clearly said 'this one is a keeper' in the language of female. She was assuming he must have been her new interest with how closely they were sticking together.
However, at Lavi's insinuation, Sil couldn't help but pout ever-so-slightly. Since someone else had already made coffee, she filled her mug to the brim with the lovely energizing liquid before settling down into the chair next to him. "I slept," she said in a slightly defensive voice, ".... yesterday afternoon, and I'll sleep later. It's easier to work with Eira at night. You know how lonely she gets," it was more of an excuse than anything, she was just not a fan of sleep in general and considered it to be a colossal waste of time.
When Mishka turned back to pay attention to Liv, Sil couldn't help but lean over near to Lavi and whisper in hushed tones near to his ear: "Do you think he brought the mistletoe back with him...?" Her tone was a mixture of stark horror and teasing. His accent was unmistakable to her.
"What kind of friend would I be if I did not share delicious secrets?" Mishka asked Liv, but he was easily distracted and leaned in near to her again. "I think we need more batter," Mishka whispered quietly to Liv after a moment, the kitchen inhabitants multiplying like rabbits. "Let me cook pancakes, while you make batter? I may not mix but I can flip pancake like professional," he picked up the nearest spatula and held it up like a king holding a scepter.

"Stop playing with it and eat it," he said with exasperation.
He saw the pained smile and became even more uncomfortable. He still didn't quite know how to interact with children, and it bothered him how easily she became upset. It was fussy and he wasn't used to it. He gave a small sigh and tried to tone down his irritation.
"You should eat it because it's good for you and it tastes good," he drummed his fingers on the table a little and added, "..Please."

Liv watched the interaction between Mishka and Sil and smiled, but when Sil turned to give her such an obvious signal she scowled. She knew very well what Sil was trying to say and she crossed her arms to signal back, 'He's just a friend.'
She quickly disguised her scowl and uncrossed her arms when Mishka turned his attention back to her, "Oh, yes, you're right. Okay, you cook and I'll mix. We'll be the perfect team," she set about mixing up more batter next to the stove, so she could continue to hold conversation with him.
"Are there still many patients to attend to this morning?" she asked, honestly interested.
