She jumped a little in suprise, scowl dissapearing. She turned her head and looked at Kanda, a small guilty smile on her face. "Morning Yu-nii, sorry for taking up your bed last night. You know I could have slept on the floor instead." She pouted a bit.

"I wouldn't make you do that. You're still growing, it's baa-," he yawned again, "-ad for your bones. Just don't get used to staying the night here. If you want to sleep here then I'll have to get another bed moved in," he said as a joke, not really intending it to be a serious.

She made a worried face, "But your bones..." When he got to the part about getting another bed moved in her eyes widened and her cheeks went red. "Ah-! No, that'd take too much space wouldn't it? Besides, Yu-nii deserves to have as much time away from me as he can get, sicne i'm always clinging to him.." Her eyes went downcast, she figured she must be pretty annoying. "I always get hurt a-and the bedroom is a place for a person where they can strip away the days weight and relax in silence.." SHe bit her lip, obviously embarassed.
(OH! That reminds me! Yu, did you see the video I made? o: )

(( No. o: ))
"There's nothing wrong with my bones. Tch...idiot," he replied a little sharply.
He stood up and stretched his arms and legs out as she spoke. He paused and straightened up, staring at her with one hand on his hip.
"Well I wasn't being serious. That would be ridiculous...," he crossed his arms and frowned a little.
He started to think about it though, as crazy as it sounded. He watched the girl beat herself up over nothing and rubbed his temples. When he closed his eyes he saw the image of her father's apparition, begging him to promise to look after her. He had accepted the request, but he never said anything about 24/7 babysitting. He opened his eyes again to see the embarrassed look on Chaoe's face, and he felt guilty for being so rough on her all the time. He sighed and pursed his lips.
"Don't speak about yourself that way," he ground his teeth, thinking for a moment longer, ".....If you'd really like to stay here some nights, then...we can discuss it later. Now let's go have breakfast."

Lavi smiled and gave Liv a slight squeeze as she came over to him for a hug, her bubbly mood so early in the morning infectious and lifting his tiredness a little. After she had introduced the young doctor-to-be, Lavi clasped his outstretched hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you too, Mishka. And good to have you here, God knows we can use all the doctors we can find." He shrugged at the mention of his double-life, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Technically, he only had one job, one that required him to have another for a while, but it wasn't really quite so clear-cut as of late. "It's manageable."
As if reminding him why he'd come there so early in the morning, his stomach let out a long, high-pitched squeak and he removed his hands from his pockets to fold them over his stomach as if that would stop the noises. "Sorry about that..." he laughed a little and glanced over at the kitchen counter, wondering what he should get to eat.

( Well, here it is -> le link )
She watched him nervously, blinking and running a hand through her bed-head. She looked at the floor, "O-okay.." Her head shot up when he mentioned being able to spend a few nights, eyes lighting up, she nodded with a smile. "Okay!" She crawled out of the bed and stared up at him with her big black eyes, waiting. Excited to have breakfast with her 'big brother'.

Liv sighed a little and conceded, accepting Mishka's request, "Alright...but you can only help a little. And not with your own breakfast. You can help me make something for Lavi," she said a little firmly, in her motherly fashion.
She moved over to start the coffee pot for him, smiling as his comment about tea, "I love tea. I find coffee too bitter. If I ever drink coffee I put so much cream and sugar that it doesn't taste like coffee anymore, so that pretty much makes it pointless, doesn't it? But I understand why people like it," she touched his arm lightly to let him know that she wasn't offended.
"What would you like for breakfast, Lavi? Eggs, sausage and toast? Oatmeal? Cold cereal? I think we could whip up just about anything," she smiled at him and started pulling things from the fridge and cupboards.

(( That was really good! o: You did that all by yourself?
But who was the no-face? ))
He took longer than normal to fully wake and continued to look groggy as they made their way to the kitchen. He squinted his eyes as they passed every window that let in the bright sun. When they arrived at the kitchen to see it already filling with people he let out a small noise of displeasure. He wasn't sure of the occasion, why they were up so early, but he didn't usually prefer to eat in large company. He didn't have much of a choice though and nudged Chaoe in ahead of himself. He didn't greet anyone and moved straight for the hot water to make himself some ginger tea.

"I'm sorry if it does not taste delicious..." Mishka said a little ruefully to the red haired young man, figuring he better get to work promptly before that monster of a stomach jumped off of him and started attacking. He peeled the sleeves of his jacket back, rolling them smoothly up to his elbows as to not get the pristine white dirty with the task at hand. He couldn't boast great cooking but he hoped that it would be satisfying enough for him. "I prefer only to poison self, not others... Order may kick me out if I kill Exorcist-Bookmen with cooking."
The coffee conversation mad him chuckle quietly, patting the hand that brushed him. "Then you start morning with dessert, not coffee!" He stated, though he wasn't surprised by Liv's delicious tastes, but then he leaned in as if telling her a secret. "But, it tastes best with just hint of hazelnut," his voice was soft, his eyes dancing mischeviously. "Much better for sweet girl taste."

(Thank you ; U; Yep! Stayed up till 7am Sunday morning, took a five hour nap and then finished it later in the day. As for who the no-face was..well, that's for the watcher to decide :U I couldn't think up who I wanted it to be so I made it a no-face so people could fill it in with whomever they wished. :3 )
Chaoe blinked at all the people, suprised. Usually there weren't this many in the kitchen at this time. She pouted a bit when Kanda nudged her in, crowds made her uncomfortable... so she stayed at his side. Far enough away from the hot water but close enough to cling to his pantleg.

(( Oh. o: You worked really hard then!
Hm...I see. c: ))
He glanced down when he felt her grasp his pant leg, and shook his head a little at how she was acting. It was a little hypocritical of him, since he too disliked too much company, but at least he wasn't afraid of it. He gave the top of her head a gentle pat regardless and moved over to a table in the corner, setting his tea down.
"Sit there," he motioned to one of the chairs, "I'll bring you something."

She looked up, a bit nervous but nodded and sat down as she was told to.

(( Well I thought that it seemed like the love mentioned was supposed to be a friendship or platonic love. To be honest, I first thought of Kanda in his big brother role. c: But I think that it could be an adoptive father or a friend with a common past, or anything of that sort. ))
He continued to move about the kitchen, avoiding the others. He didn't know what Chaoe liked to eat for breakfast, but figured she couldn't complain with a bowl of cereal. He also poured a small glass of juice for her and returned to the table.
"Here," he set the meal in front of her and then sat across from her, picking up his tea and taking a sip.

"Oh, you don't have to..." Lavi had started to object to having the two of them make his breakfast for him, but trailed off when they started preparing and tentatively took a seat at the table. "Well... I guess some blueberry pancakes would be nice... and don't worry about that." He waved away Mishka's concerns with a smile. He wasn't going to complain after they'd gone through the trouble of making him breakfast. He chuckled to himself a little at the thought of a poorly prepared meal being the thing to do him in after every crazy thing he'd survived in this castle. Leaning his elbow on the table and resting his head in his hand, Lavi watched the two at the kitchen counter with interest, taking note of their little gestures. He wasn't sure what to make of it just yet, as it was not uncommon for Liv to generally act like that, and he didn't know the young doctor long enough to judge his actions.
Lavi lifted and turned his head at the sound of more people joining them in the kitchen, twisting in his seat a little. "Good morning Chaoe, and Yu~" He smiled at the two, despite the lack of acknowledgement, mostly from the latter of the pair. When the little girl took a seat, he crossed his arms on the table, sliding forwards a little, and rested his head on them. "How are you this morning, Chaoe~?" He asked her, clearly pronouncing the last two vowels of her name in a playful manner. He glanced at Kanda as he took a seat as well, wondering what brought on this strange, caring side towards the young Exorcist girl.

(Awh~ ; w; <3)
She blinked when he came back and picked up the juice, drinking it happily before glancing down at the cereal, a confused expression on her face. "What's that?"
LE EDIT
Chaoe blinked and looked up after hearing her name, a small smile forming on her face. "Morning Lavi. I'm okay, I spent the night with Yu-nii after he taught me how to play chess!" She smiled brightly, obviously excited to have learnt a new game and that Kanda himself taught her how to play.
