(( A grease fire is just a fire that contains grease. Seeing how grease is lighter than water, but can't put out fire, it'll rise above the water and continue to fuel it. ))

Yes, grease fire is the technical term but I believe it was first used in medieval times. They called it seomthing else. Dragon fire or something like that. It's in a movie too..
