Airelesanya MonAmourSuisseXD crying I hate being grounded! I miss so much! stare But the homecoming dance was last night and it was so much fun! Though I am extremely sore and exhausted. Yay for KH and Mag. I've only played the first KH game though, and it got scratched xp Then get un-grounded! wink
Also gives you incentive to not get grounded in the future. ^^
Pfft, where's the fun in that?

Le sigh. So another portion of my college funds went down the drain. We have to get a new computer and knowing my dad he's going to buy the expensive one and make me skip applying to the more top end colleges I wanted to try and get into. Why do college application fees have to be so damn expensive? D; I'm quite sad. >____<

Airelesanya Mag: Good first post ^_^ And... do you really play the violin? O:
Thanks and yes, I've played since 6th grade. I'm not in an orchestra since coming to college but I keep messing around with it to figure out tunes I like. I think my violin has a bad tone, so I don't like playing it by myself.
Aww. Well, at least you'll have a nice computer Mitsu. Plus, the top schools aren't that much better. Application fees are such a joke.

Mes parents still won't tell me when I'll be ungrounded, they just say "When your grades come up" which is code for we don't know and don't care
All the fees are ridiculous. 21$ to take a PRACTICE SAT! And then I have to pay for normals SAT's three times, normal ACT, application fees and that other crap. =P
I used to be a percussionist, they don't have orchestra out here, least not where I live. We just got band (band geeks!) and choir (I'ma choir geek now heart )

Actually most schools do not accept anything but things written or done on a computer. Sure you could use the schools computers but those are not always open and have problems since it is not your computer. There is really no point in going to school without a computer at home. Of course if he is using the money that Mitsu earned and is saving for herself then that is messed up.

He's using the money to buy the a new computer and a useless 25 inch monitor. I get a laptop when I graduate high school. And I don't earn any money I have it's all birthday and Christmas money. I'm not allowed to have a job until I graduate either. -_____-;

Pift is a 25 inch monitor ALL? Ha! We have a 32 inch one that's awesome. Also since it technically isn't your money then you really can't complain. Your parents do not have to pay for college and if they are, even a little bit then really its a big help and don't complain.

Don't you ******** dare tell me not to complain. You aren't some little Asian girl who's been pushed by her parents and her entire life has pretty much revolved around getting into some prestigious college. You really don't understand Melph, so don't go around acting like you know better.

Don't be bringing in the racist card here. Half of my friends had the exact same parents that you have and they had to pay for college themselves. They worked hard and they had to take out a lot of loans to do so but they did it. Even if its not a lot of help it is still some.
Besides if they spend that money on a new computer then tell them you can't get into a college if you don't have any money so you should get a job. Yeah it probably won't work, but still. That money isn't yours and they can do whatever they want with it. Granted it might not be the nicest thing to do since they did put it aside for your college money.
You can't complain either because you can always apply to scholarships and get a loan for college. There are tons of ways to get money for college if you look enough.
Like I said tough luck but you really can't complain since it was never your money in the first place.

*holds up hands* Okay okay. Not going to play peacemaker here, but I have to say, I'm kind of Mitsu's side. Sorry Melph.
You are right, the money isn't hers. But it was needed to help her get into college, because if her parents won't let her get a job, then they are making her dependent on them, and so she needs their money. Yes there are loans and scholarships, but most require fees and such and some require you to apply very soon when you may not necesarrily have the money to apply. You could possibly just ask if they could buy a second-hand one. If you check well enough, they turn out just as good as brand new ones. And that's all I have to say 3nodding
By the way, my dad agrees with Melph xp
