@Lavi: What I do to keep my lips from being dry is put vaseline on them before I go to bed. Works wonders. It'll probably keep you from licking your lips too.))

I put lip balm on mine before bed and I've never had a problem... but a lot of people I know use vaseline like John said. XD I always have to remind myself not to lick my lips too.
