Star caught sight of the brown-haired girl out of the corner of her eye, but didn't pause, or even slow in her run. The exertion was just starting to make itself known, the game of cat and mouse having been going on for quite some time-much to her displeasure.
"Mind if I explain that when I'm not running for my life?" Star panted, her eyes locking on the next turn of the maze like halls. She put on a bit more speed as she approached, just as she had before, praying that there wouldn't be anyone there this time.
She let out a small sigh of relief as she rounded the corner without crashing into anyone, using the extra momentum to spin around, and land in a crouch, back pressed against the wall. Her hand shot out as Sil came around, capturing the other girl's wrist and yanking her down beside her.
The metal creature followed less than a second later, coming around the corner so fast it missed the sight of the two crouched against the wall, taking off down the corridor, most likely assuming they'd already gone that way.
She was breathing a bit unevenly as she got to her feet, taking the momentary loss of the machine as her chance, she took off back around the corner they'd just come around and slumping back against the wall, listening intently for a moment in case the machine caught on to what she'd done.
"Sorry," She she said, panting lightly, releasing Sil's wrist, as she leaned her head back against the cool stone, the sounds of crashing getting farther and farther away, much to the whitette's relief, "Didn't mean to get anyone else involved with... whatever that thing was..."

“Actually, I do,” Sil stated, a clear level of annoyance in her voice, clearly irritated that her relaxed mood had just been obliterated. She had no idea officially speaking what the thing chasing them was, but she could only suspect that it was another one of Komui’s failed experiments gone rogue.
However, as she was tugged roughly down against the wall, Sil went silent and pressed her back firmly against the cool stone. For a moment she didn’t think, didn’t breathe, and just let the thing stupidly run past it’s targets downt he hallway to harass the others. Once it was out of… well… ear shot, so to speak, she shook her head slowly. The apology was accepted, but now that she was involved all she could do was help any way she could to end the havock. “It was chasing you and you don’t know what it was? There has to be some reason it targeted you,” she said, her eyes narrowing at the white haired woman, wondering if she had spilled coffee or fiddled with some cleaner robot settings. "Did you piss off Komui? Hit on his sister? Spill liquid on any electronic objects?"
