Kanda was on his way back from the kitchen, his usual bowl of soba settling nicely in his stomach. He heard the crazed laughter and frowned, wondering if Komui was up to no good again. He followed the sound until it grew louder. When he came upon the source of the cackling, he was surprised to see it wasn't Komui, but instead it was Kiah. He stepped up behind her and raised an eyebrow.
"Is everything alright?"

Kiah was about to shoot off when a voice cut into her laughter, causing her to trip up a little and choke off her giggles in horror. She turned slowly and had her suspicions confirmed when she saw Kanda looking at her questioningly, making her blush profusely and cover up with fake cough.
"H-Hi K-Kanda... Everything's fine with me, how about you? Hahahaha...," she trailed off, trying not too look like a crazy person in front of him.

"I'm fine. How have you been since your injuries?" he asked, not convinced that she was fine, noting her almost hysterical appearance.
He crossed his arms and looked at her with scrutinizing eyes.

Kiah ducked her head down as he studied her, face continuing to get even redder. "I-I've been good! It's pretty much all healed up, and I only re-opened it twice!"
"S-so what are you doing up so early...?" she asked, used to being one of the first ones up in the morning. That was usually the time where you could explore around the Order and not be noticed.

He looked around the empty hall and then back to Kiah, "You seem nervous," he stated.

"I see...," she said, laughing softly at his anti social tendencies. Kiah usually liked to eat her meals with people, but every once in awhile it was nice to do it alone.
Her head shot up without her permission at his blunt statement, blush still clear on her face her despite her effort to control it. "I-I do not! I'm just... uh... fidgety because I haven't been to the training room yet!" she pouted, grasping the first thing she could think of.

When she mentioned the training room he frowned harshly, "What do you need to go there for? You're just Komui's assistant, you don't need to train for combat."
He thought of Komui's Komurins and then shook his head, "On second thought, you might need it more than anyone if you have to deal with him."
