Thard_Verad I'm doing fine. How's your new Team doing? Rex has a new team? Lycan Savior Origin The design and move pool for me. I love the design of Scolipede and Venipede, but I do agree that his move pool sucks. Along with the type combo. razz

I have nothing against Scolipede. It's fast and has decent power, plus a few good tricks up its ... sleeves? The main problem does seem to be the over-used Bug/Poison combination. Of course, it hasn't been able to find room on my team yet. Just too crowded to squeeze in a bug like that.

Oh, yeah, that team! I thought Thard was talking about a new line up, a new pokemon team. Although "new pokemon team" does fit the bill. :p Thard_Verad I have nothing against Scolipede. It's fast and has decent power, plus a few good tricks up its ... sleeves? The main problem does seem to be the over-used Bug/Poison combination. Of course, it hasn't been able to find room on my team yet. Just too crowded to squeeze in a bug like that. Precisely. At the time, not counting my Krookidile, who's just a physical basher (with Moxie AND a great speed), he was my fastest, and could take a hit. That is, until I got to the fifth gym. Then you had rock, sky, and ice all in a row. Yet, I kept him until after the Elite Four. At that point, I traded out my Konkeldurr and Scolipede for a flying type and a Mienshao.

Skyla was no trouble at all. I forget what I used against her first pokemon. Possibly Ducklett backed up by Boldore. Her Swanna was totally outclassed by Zebstrika, and Unfezant went down trying to stat-drain Pignite (or maybe Emboar. It's evolved now, but I can't remember when it happened)
With Emboar, I don't expect a lot of resistance from the Ice gym either. Just gotta be mindful of water attacks. (Maybe I should pack a Sunny Day user to be safe....)
Rex: Copy/paste is all well and good, but remember to double check your edits. Your rules go from 1-10 and then skip to 14. ^_^

My Samurott annihilated, erm, the ground guy (forgetting his name...), along with the help of Conkeldurr, Krokorok, several others... Skyla was taken out by my Eelektrik, and Brycen and his ice-pokemon were easy-peasy with Gigalith. Rock type move are great.

Don't blame me. Not trying to move the blame around. But Ryu was the one who put more work in, I told him to take inspiration from Aqua, not copy it. I'll see if I can change some stuff up if you would like that.

Edit @ Rex: They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It's fine to draw inspiration from Aqua, but if you take too much, can you really call Shining Light your team? Borrow what you need while you're setting up, and make the changes necessary to suit your Team.
I have to say, it was kind of amusing to see my informational post about Ditto duplicated in your thread. It isn't even a particularly important thread. ;P

I took some inspiration from Aqua for my team as well. There's a good organizational setup here. I feel a little like a Ditto... 'cept mine knows Barrier, Fire Blast, and DRACO METEOR!!!!!!!! burning_eyes

I'll take that as a yes/no. Lolz. I will change up some stuff about Shining Ligh tomorrow when my computer decides to work. I am surprisingly getting memberswithout invites pretty fast. In two days we have about 7 members, most of which are still testing. Richy decided to take inspiration from the older days of Aqua. See how we test people, we give them their go catch this mission, but we accept them, allowing them to submit their mission in the grading room, and they just keep making the mission until they pass, and now I'm babbling again -_-
