Shinmatsu shot up suddenly, eyes wide, obvious energy flowing through him.
"Damn." he said bluntly.
"Sleep wierds me out."He streched himself in order to get some real energy flowing through him, the kind he could use to move. He got up slowly and headed toward the kitchen. He reached into the cupboards and pulled out a tea kettle and tea pot along with some chai tea. He made his tea and headed outside, seeing as how that is where everyone else is going.

Feeling the mental expressions she eminated, Tutsumi knew that he had to test her out as she was a new Sensei. It was one of the very few things that brought him joy.
"Very well...I choose Yami and Ho. While I'm no student of Yami, my heritage gives me a little bit of power in that area, are you okay with this?"

Fenris nods slowly, then responding loud enough to for Tutsumi to hear her, "I pick Yami and Tamashii." She said, remembering the tricks NEko had taught her awhile ago before he went missing for the first length of time that she rememebered.

And Zen slept a lot. The other characters however were prepping. They had been told to deliver another message and this time they would do it right. But it would take a while. Say after new years on the 3rd at 7pm?

Shinmatsu saw a few people on top of the dojo and decided to join them. He looked around for a place to access the rooftop, then down at his tea. He puts his tea on the highest spot he can find and finds a way up, once ontop of the roof he gets his tea again and pops a squat, sipping on his tea slowly.
"Mmmm...."

It appeared Noah was incapacitated with impatience. A shame. But it did leave Keno to pay full attention to the match between the woman and Tut. He returned to the roof, next to Neko, with his arms crossed. "You mind if I join you, or would you prefer to be alone?"

Nodding slowly, Tutsumi took his usual place by the edge of the pond, taking a stance, and then waited for Fen to begin their spar.
"Since we accept, I conclude this battle has begun."

Fenris nodded and stood ten feet from Tutsumi, getting into a ready position, having rarely gone first in a spar or battle unless it was to be a quick and deadly strike, like in assassinations.

Taking a few steps onto the water, Tutsumi slowly bent down and smirked. He placed his left hand down onto the surface of the water and started to generate a portion of chakra into it, using the waterjust as he would ground.

"I'm sure it's no comfort hearing this from a mere genin, but if something were to happen, I'm sure I could at least create a distraction for you and your lady friend." Keno was kept his focus out on the lake, not casting an eye toward Neko either. Apparently he couldn't just have fun with this...well he could but.. To any end, Neko was helpful once before. It wouldn't hurt to return the favor.

It takes more than a mere Genin to say something like that, and I thank you....But if what I'm worried about happens, you need to get away. Don't try to be a hero...This guy could kill us all easily if the battle was in his favor...

"If you expect to me to leave," Keno said with a deep sigh, "you'll have to at least swear not to let the battle tip in his favor. I don't leave allies in compromising situations.
