Tomo chewed the end of the pen. "They should make them challenging, not impossible." He murmured, tail twitching as he wrote a few letters in.

Lily giggled a bit on hearing that, looking up again. "Well... maybe if you asked Kaia to help you later, you could do it together. Then it might be a little easier."

Trina nodded at Baizou tiredly. "Goodness...a few years ago, I couldn't speak english...not being able to communicate is frusterating....I'm sorry." She said, taking a sip of water. "Anything I can do?" She asked, then her dark eyes shifted to Lily. "Or for you Lily?" She asked concerned.

Arlen opened his eyes and smiled weakly at Lily. "How're you feeling?" he asked, sliding himself closer to her.

Tomo nodded, "She seems to have a larger vocabulary." He said, then shrugged, "If I gave it to Rhi, it would be done in about five seconds."

"No, Trina, I'm okay, thank you." Then Lily's eyes went to Arlen, and for a moment, her expression was one of guilt before she smiled. "Better than I did yesterday... how are you? Do you want some of my soup? I won't be able to eat it all." she told him honestly, then flicked her eyes to Tomo. "Really? She must be very smart... you must be proud of her."

"I'm glad to hear you're alright," Arlen said, struggling into a sitting position. "Don't really feel like soup, sorry," he said, leaning against her slightly. "You should try to eat it all anyways."

Tomo nodded, "Well, every parent wants their child to be smarter than him." He said, justifying it for himself, "That, and I learned how to read three years ago." he mumbled quickly.

Lily shot a smile to Tomo, then turned her attention back to Arlen. "Want me to make you something else? I really am okay today, and I owe you." Since he'd told her to, she went back to eating her soup, even after she'd lost her appetite for it.

Arlen shook his head. "I'll get something for my self," with a good deal of effort, he was able to stand and make his way to the bar with out falling. "Hey tomo, Bai, Trina," he greeted the trio as he fell into a seat at the bar.

"Okay." Lily whispered, ears falling. She managed to eat most of her soup, then set the bowl aside before curling up, looking into the fire.

Arlen waived back at Bai. "Could I get some pasta or something?" he asked Baizou, not wanting to interrupt Tomo's crossword puzzling.

Trina caught herself staring at her glass again, and shook her head. Unfortunately, the move sent her falling out of the chair landing hard on her back. She made no sound, dark eyes merely puzzled as she looked up at the ceiling, then moved herself to a sitting position, though now she had nothing to lean against. "Oh dear...sorry about that..." She said, looking up at Baizou, giving a tired grin.
