With one subtle look from her master, Bailey instantly trotted over to the younger girl, tongue lolling out of her mouth and giving the impression that she was smiling. She sat down obediantly and waited to see what Noelle would do next.
"I'm not saying it's not important, I'm just saying that you need to let her have a little more fun, is all," she shrugged, glaring at the man and pouting. "And what's wrong with that? It's helped us a lot in the information gathering department."
Ramona smiled softly at the girl, feeling bad for bringing her so close due to a recommendation. She was always game for a battle, however, especially if she ended up with a few prizes from the loser. "Well, it's not up to me if they come, so you might get lucky." At the sounds of the rustling bushes, the black haired woman slowly turned her head, grinning from ear to ear. "What do we have here...?" She stood her ground and waited, ready to move if Noelle did, even while Bailey stayed close to the younger girl and growled at the bush.

Noelle smiled and gently ran her fingers along the top of Bailey's head, scratching her white gloved fingers specifically around the base of the dog's ears. Even though Bailey was more than enough animal, Noelle couldn't resist the idea of another puppy of some sort joining them on their adventure today. There were many things that Noelle was, and afraid or shy were not truly traits that she held. "Come on Bailey, lets go see the other puppy!"
Without much thought, she went over to the bush and started poking around, her little lips moving to circle into a soft little whistle. "Come here, we won't hurt you! We like puppies, and... well, anything! We have a whole picnic out here, I bet you'd like that~"
Mr. Cullen stood, and though he didn't want to alarm Noelle, he took a few slow steps in the girl's direction as if he was also curious by the rustling in the bush. He was wary, prepared to split his skin in a moments notice if anything attempted to harm his little, far too curious ward. It was enough of a concern that he had even let Ramona's comments go despite the biting urge to continue their banter.

Aka let out a deep growl, he wasn't a puppy! He might be young but he certainly wasn't that young..especially if you added the years he was- He stopped his thoughts there and frowned deeply, there was no time to think about that.
His ears stung at the whistling and he let out an accidental wimper, covering his ears. Like a snake charmer's flute, the whistling was making him want to come out of hiding- this wasn't good at all... He backed up another inch and let out a yelp when a peice of broken glass dug into his knee. He fell forward, out of his hiding place. Cursing like mad in his head he looked up at the people he was hiding from, wide-eyed. His glasses had come off too when he fell, showing off his eye colour in all it's pitiful glory. (he hated his grey eyes, they lacked colour- even Yuuka's black eyes had a richer colour than his) His ears flattened as much as they could against his head, he was in deep trouble if these people were Noah as he started to guess..

Soma had seen enough for now. It was time to leave. He crept back to the door, looking over his shoulder to make certain his retreat went unnoticed. But exiting the room containing the obstacle course was the easy part. The cacophony produced by all the machines was a perfect cover. Escaping the confines of The Order wouldn't be so simple. The last time he attempted to leave these premises, he raised quite an alarm. He cracked the door open and peered through the small gap. It looked clear.
Slowly exiting, the young man retraced his steps. At each corner, Soma came to a halt and inched closer, spying before advancing. During his stealthy journey, he started writing his mental report on the pair he had just spent time observing. All though he wasn't allotted much time, he mad note of their endurance, speed, and most importantly, their special abilities. Every bit of information would help.
As he dotted the I's and crossed the last T in his mind, he was distracted from staying out of sight. He approached a corner and heard footsteps. Soma was half a stride past the edge and came to his senses. He darted back around the corner and laid flat against the wall. The steps drew closer and subsequently, he slowly curled his fists in preparation, head turned, staring at the corner. Luckily, the person continued down the hallway perpendicular to Soma's none the wiser. . He let out a quiet breath. Peeking around the corner, he could see a window. He was on the first floor this time. Quite the relief. It was a very short run. Looking out first, the window was opened and quickly exited. Successfully at that.
Soma had made it into the city and headed home. In minor celebration, he took the long way. The view of the lake would be a welcomed change. He slung his jacket over his shoulder and marched onward. After some time, the call of geese could be heard.

Bailey wagged her tail happily while her ears were being scratched, whining softly when the girl stopped to go check out the rustling in the bush. She matched Noelle step for step nervously with her ears pulled back, trained specifically to protect and kill should the need arise.
Ramona stood relaxed while the other two defenders followed their youngest member, trusting that Bailey would rip out the throat of whoever was skulking around near the lake. When what looked like a teenage boy with what looked to be dog ears fell out of the bush, she frowned in disappointment, finding that he looked a bit too young for her taste. She quickly replaced it with a look of kindness, ready to adjust to the situation as needed. "Bailey, Noelle, give him a little space..." she commanded softly, smiling reassuringly at the boy. "Now... what are you doing here, little dog?"
"Hmmm..." Ramona glanced to the side quickly while keeping up the pretense of being kind, sensing someone familiar and strange at the same time approaching. She sent a look to Noelle and Mr. Cullen, trying to convey her request for them to keep the feelings that they surely had to themselves. "It seems we'll have another playmate soon..."

((Hi Domo c:
Noooooooooo. ;-; *Snuggles deeply and viciously.* Any particular reason?))
"It's not a dog at all!" Noelle exclaimed as the boy fell out of the bush in front of them. She stood back to her full impressive height of 4'1" and quickly brushed the leaves that had gotten caught in her skirt. Though she should have been afraid, with her three companions she was completely fearless, knowing nothing would happen to her with them around. "What curious ears!"
Despite Ramona's warning, Noelle didn't move too far away from the boy. She gave him some distance, but no more than a foot or two before she plopped down onto the ground with her features mystified. Her skirts puffed around her like a soft mushroom top and her hands curled into the fabric with eager curiosity. "What's your name? How old are you? Do you like tea?" The questions flew out of her lips faster than they could be answered, not quite understanding where the ill feeling was coming from, though something about that staff he carried made her highly uncomfortable... "This is Bailey. Isn't she cute?"
"Noelle, come here," Mr. Cullen said gently, trying to keep the growl out of his voice. Despite that the girl actually had command over him, Noelle frowned and quickly stood, moving over to stand between Ramona and Mr. Cullen where she was safe. He glanced over at the sound of another man approaching them, his pupils narrowing, wondering if a group of them were coming for a fight.

((Welcome home Domo.))
The smell of water touched his nose. It was a pleasant aroma. One not afforded as often as desired. But as the distance between himself and the lake shortened, noises usually foreign to this area could be heard. Soma had hoped he would have been able to spend this time alone and undisturbed. The fates were generally not so kind. The sound of a barking dog was unmistakable. He was close to home but decided to play it safe, sticking close to the tree line. As he approached the lake, he could feel something. It were as if he knew whoever was there creating the ruckus. His lips pursed, processing the sensation. The feeling forced him to change the direction of his walk. A few dozen paces later, he could see the group. At this point, he couldn't leave this stone unturned. Soma approached them, knowing from within, that caution wasn't necessary. He closed the distance between them but gave no words.

Aka swallowed and kept his mouth shut for a few minutes. He glanced at the man nervously before looking at the women and then the dog and girl infront of him. Then when the girl started asking him quetions, he was baffled. He had expected them to attack or something, but they seemed fairly calm. Leaning back into a sitting position, he tried to ignore the annoying peice of glass in his knee and decided he might as well go along with it. But his staff didn't leave his hand. "Aka..my name is Aka, as for my age i'm not entirely sure..maybe eighteen, perhaps i'm sixteen, I don't really keep track." He smiled, there wasn't much of a point to be rude, even if he wanted out of there fast. "As for tea...i've never had any so I wouldn't know young miss." He blinked at the dog and his eyebrow twitched, even if he had the DNA of a canine he wasn't much of a dog person..at all. "Ah..y-yeah..sure.." His ears twitched at the sound of someone approaching, a small blush forming, this girl kinda reminded him of a certain someone but he couldn't put his finger on who exacly. Oh man...someone please, save me? ;; He gulped.
